The dynamics of the dc and ac driving Josephson junction equation is studied in terms of the two-dimensional Poincaré map. The smooth invariant circle on the phase cylinder in over-damped case a ) 2 loses smoothness as a decreases and becomes a strange attractor eventually. This triggers two kinds of chaos, one occurs in the regions between two Arnold tongues and the other occurs within the tongues.  相似文献

Ratchet effect as well as the phenomenon of stochastic resonance (SR) is investigated in a simple flashing ratchet model. Numerical simulations show that both the power spectrum amplitude and the mean mobility of the system vary non-monotonically in similar manners with increasing the noise intensity and both reach their highest point nearly at the same noise level. We point out that the consistency of these two phenomena are just due to the existence of circular flux in non-equilibrium state.  相似文献

We manifest a stochastic resonance in a two-dimensional square array of coupled oscillators subjected only to white noise and constant driving forces.The result shows that the coherent output of every single oscillator plays the role of periodic input to its neighbours.Even without periodic driving,the cooperation of the white noise and the coupling can also result in the array enhanced stochastic resonance effect.In our investigation,global as well as local noise perturbation is taken into account.  相似文献

The phenomenon of frequency resonance,which is usually related to deterministic systems.is investigated in stochastic systems.We show that for those autonomous systems driven only by white noise,if the output power spectrum exhibits a nonzero peak frequency,then applying a periodic signal just on this noise-induced central frequency can also induce a resonance phenomenon,which we call the frequency stochastic resonance.The effect of such a resonance in a coupled stochastic system is shown to be much better than that in a single-oscillator system.  相似文献

The effects of bismuth doping content and temperature on the absorption property and near-infrared(NIR) luminescence of Bi-doped La2O3-Al2O3-SiO2(LAS) glasses are presented.The emission intensity reaches the maximum when the Bi2O3 content in 3.0Bi-LAS is 1.83%.The emission spectra reach their peaks at 1 190 and 1 117 nm,with full-width at half-maximum(FWHM) values of 330 and 228 nm under 500 and 700-nm excitations,respectively.As the Bi2O3 content increases,the peak wavelengths and FWHMs of emission bands increase,but their lifetimes decrease.The lifetime of 2.0Bi-LAS is 460 μs at 9 K,and is almost temperature independent until 350 K.The NIR emission of Bi in the system has strong resistance to thermal quenching from 9 to 350 K.  相似文献
