Bounding multi-stage stochastic programs from above

The purpose of this paper is to present general approaches for bounding some multi-stage stochastic programs from above. The results are based on restricting the solution set, such that the remaining multi-stage stochastic program is easy to solve. ESR studies of γ-irradiated histone octamer and the histone H3

ESR spectrum of neat histone H3 γ-irradiated and observed at 77 K with low microwave power and modulation amplitude showed multiple resolved structure depicting nonequivalent interaction of the unpaired electron located at amido-carbonyl radical anion [– )NH–] of the peptide backbone with adjacent –NH– group and the β-proton of –CH group. The predominance of amido-carbonyl radical anion is in good accord with the expected partition of secondary electrons amongst the various electrophilic groups including peptide carbonyl and aromatic acid residues. Following a gradual rise of annealing temperature to room temperature, a double splitting spectrum from the well known -carbon amido radical was evolved.     

酞菁化合物LB单分子膜的SERRS

The conservation laws and self-consistent sources for a super-Yang hierarchy

In the present paper, a super-extension of the Yang hierarchy is proposed by super-matrix Lie algebras, and the super-Yang hierarchy with self-consistent sources is established. Furthermore, we establish infinitely many conservation laws of the super-integrable hierarchy. The methods presented by us can be generalized to other nonlinear equation hierarchies with self-consistent sources.     

Air Atmospheric Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma Induced Germination and Growth Enhancement of Wheat Seed

Air atmospheric dielectric barrier discharge plasma (DBD) was attempted to pretreat wheat seed to improve its germination and growth in this study. The effects of the DBD plasma treatment on the wheat seed germination, seedling growth, osmotic-adjustment products, lipid peroxidation level, and antioxidant enzymes activity were investigated. The experimental results showed that the DBD plasma treatment with an appropriate time scale could promote the wheat seed germination and seedling growth. The germination potential, germination rate, germination index, and vigor index increased by 26.7, 9.1, 16.9, and 46.9% after 7 min’s DBD plasma treatment, respectively; the root length, shoot length, fresh weight, and dry weight of the seedlings also increased after the DBD plasma treatment. The osmotic-adjustment products, proline and soluble sugar contents, in the wheat seedlings were significantly enhanced after the DBD plasma treatment with an appropriate time scale, while the malondialdehyde content decreased. Moreover, the activities of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase also increased after the DBD plasma treatment. The DBD plasma treatment led to etching effect on the wheat seed coat, resulting in the improvement of its water absorption capacity.     

A new analytical edge spread function fitting model for modulation transfer function measurement

We propose a new analytical edge spread function (ESF) fitting model to measure the modulation transfer function (MTF).The ESF data obtained from a slanted-edge image are fitted to our model through the non-linear least squares (NLLSQ) method.The differentiation of the ESF yields the line spread function (LSF),the Fourier transform of which gives the profile of two-dimensional MTF.Compared with the previous methods,the MTF estimate determined by our method conforms more closely to the reference.A practical application of our MTF measurement in degraded image restoration also validates the accuracy of our model.     

GENERALIZED FRACTIONAL TRACE VARIATIONAL IDENTITY AND A NEW FRACTIONAL INTEGRABLE COUPLINGS OF SOLITON HIERARCHY

Based on fractional isospectral problems and general bilinear forms, the gener-alized fractional trace identity is presented. Then, a new explicit Lie algebra is introduced for which the new fractional integrable couplings of a fractional soliton hierarchy are derived from a fractional zero-curvature equation. Finally, we obtain the fractional Hamiltonian structures of the fractional integrable couplings of the soliton hierarchy.     

THE FRACTIONAL QUADRATIC-FORM IDENTITY AND BI-HAMILTONIAN STRUCTURES OF AN INTEGRABLE COUPLING OF THE FRACTIONAL COUPLED BURGERS HIERARCHY

Based on a general isospectral problem of fractional order and the fractional quadratic-form identity by Yue and Xia, the new integrable coupling of fractional coupled Burgers hierarchy and its fractional bi-Hamiltonian structures are obtained.
