主要考虑了具有指数增长的4阶退化P-双调和问题弱解的存在性和非存在性.当n≥2p+1和2p≥n时,这些结果是不同的.尽管对高阶问题,弱比较原理不再成立,但是仍有其他一些方法可以使用.当2p≥n时,采用的是极小极大方法,而当n≥2p+1时,采用的是上下解方法.最后给出了当n≥2p+1时正则解的渐近行为.     

混合边界条件下的三维定常 旋转Navier-Stokes方程的原始变量有限元计算

本文利用原始变量有限元法求解混合边界条件下的三维定常旋转Navier-Stokes方程,证明了离散问题解的存在唯一性,得到了有限元解的最优误差估计.给出了求解原始变量有限元逼近解的简单迭代算法,并证明了算法的收敛性.针对三维情况下计算资源的限制,采用压缩的行存储格式存储刚度矩阵的非零元素,并利用不完全的LU分解作预处理的GMRES方法求解线性方程组.最后分析了简单迭代和牛顿迭代的优劣对比,数值算例表明在同样精度下简单迭代更节约计算时间.     

Stability and convergence of optimum spectral non‐linear Galerkin methods

Our objective in this article is to present some numerical schemes for the approximation of the 2‐D Navier–Stokes equations with periodic boundary conditions, and to study the stability and convergence of the schemes. Spatial discretization can be performed by either the spectral Galerkin method or the optimum spectral non‐linear Galerkin method; time discretization is done by the Euler scheme and a two‐step scheme. Our results show that under the same convergence rate the optimum spectral non‐linear Galerkin method is superior to the usual Galerkin methods. NONCONFORMING FINITE ELEMENT PENALTY METHOD FOR STOKES EQUATION

a special penalty method is presented to improve the accuracy of the standard penaltymethod (or solving Stokes equation with nonconforming finite element, It is shown that thismethod with a larger penalty parameter can achieve the same accuracy as the staodaxd methodwith a smaller penalty parameter. The convergence rate of the standard method is just hall order of this penalty method when using the same penalty parameter, while the extrapolationmethod proposed by Faik et al can not yield so high accuracy of convergence. At last, we alsoget the super-convergence estimates for total flux.

FULL DISCRETE NONLINEAR GALERKIN METHOD FOR THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS

This paper deals with the inertial manifold and the approximate inertial manifold concepts of the Navier-Stokes equations with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions and inertial algorithm. Furtheremore, we provide the error estimates of the approximate solutions of the Navier-Stokes Equations.

Generalized symmetrized dirichlet distributions

In this paper we introduce a family of multivariate distributions, which consists of scale mixtures of symmetrized Dirichlet distributions. This family is a symmetrization of multivariate Liouville distributions and contains the well-known spherically symmetric distributions as a special case. The basic properties of this family such as stochastic representation, probability density functions, marginal and conditional distributions and components' independence are studied. A criterion of the invariance of statistics is also given.
