Device grade quantum dots (QDs) require QDs ensembles to retain their original superior optical properties as in solution. QDs with thick shells are proven effective in suppressing the inter-dot interaction and preserving the emission properties for QDs solids. However, lattice strain–induced defects may form as the shell grows thicker, resulting in a notable photoluminescence quenching. Herein, a well-type CdxZn1−xS/CdSe/CdyZn1−yS QDs is proposed, where ternary alloys CdZnS are adopted to match the lattice parameter of intermediate CdSe by separately adjusting the x and y parameters. The resultant thick-shell Cd0.5Zn0.5S/CdSe/Cd0.73Zn0.27S QDs reveal nonblinking properties with a high PL QY of 99% in solution and 87% in film. The optimized quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) exhibit a luminance of 31547.5 cd m−2 at the external quantum efficiency maximum of 21.2% under a bias of 4.0 V. The shell thickness shows great impact on the degradation of the devices. The T50 lifetime of the QLEDs with 11.2 nm QDs reaches 251 493 h, which is much higher than that of 6.5 and 8.4 nm QDs counterparts. The performances of the well-type thick-shell QLEDs are comparable to state-of-the-art devices, suggesting that this type of QDs is a promising candidate for efficient optoelectronic devices. 相似文献

The sequence-specific recognitions between DNA and proteins are playing important roles in many biological functions. The double-stranded DNA microarrays (dsDNA microarrays) can be used to study the sequence-specific recognitions between DNAs and proteins in highly parallel way. In this paper, two different elongation processes in forming dsDNA from the immobilized oligonucleotides have been compared in order to optimize the fabrication of dsDNA microarrays: (1) elongation from the hairpins formed by the self-hybridized oligonucleatides spotted on a glass; (2) elongation from the complementary primers hybridized on the spotted oligonucleatides. The results suggested that the dsDNA probes density produced by the hybridized-primer extension was about four times lower than those by the self-hybridized hairpins. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the cost of dsDNA microarrays, we have replaced the Klenow DNA polymerase with Taq DNA polymerase, and optimized the reaction conditions of on-chip elongation. Our experiements showed that the elongation temperature of 50 °C and the Mg2+ concentration of 2.5 mM are the optimized conditions in elongation with Taq DNA polymerase. A dsDNA microarray has been successfully constructed with the above method to detect NF-kB protein. 相似文献

In this communication, we report a successful synthesis of quasi-monodisperse In2O3 nanocrystals with high crystallinity in a high-temperature organic solution. The average size of nanocrystals can be tuned using a dynamic injection technique. TEM and XRD investigations indicate that each nanocrystal is a single crystal. The optical determination implies that the photoluminescence behavior of these In2O3 nanocrystals is different from that of the bulk, probably due to the combination of weak quantum-confinement-effects and the nature of high crystallinity in nanocrystals. 相似文献

CdMoO(4):Mn nanocrystals with a tetragonal crystal structure were prepared by aqueous coprecipitation method at a low temperature of 2 °C under different pH values. The size of the CdMoO(4):Mn nanocrystals of spherical morphology increases with the Mn dopant concentration from 35 to 55 nm for pH = 4. The morphology could be tuned from nanocrystals to microstructures consisting of smaller nanoparticles by the Mn concentration when the pH value of the precursor was increased to 8. The thermal stability of the luminescence and magnetic properties of the Mn-doped samples also depend on the pH and the doping level. The effects of the pH and dopant on the luminescence and magnetic properties, including magnetic susceptibility and electron paramagnetic resonance, were investigated. This approach contributes to better understanding of aqueous chemistry methods to control the growth of nanocrystals. 相似文献

Designing deep‐blue phosphorescent materials is vital and essential in the construction of white organic light‐emitting diodes. Using density functional theory (DFT) and time‐dependent DFT, three tetradentate Pt(II) complexes were investigated in detail to reveal the influence of azole ligand with varying number of N atoms on the emission wavelengths and radiative and non‐radiative decay processes. The calculated results indicate that with an increase of N atoms in azole rings, the radiative decay process can be effectively facilitated. Moreover, an increase of N atoms in azole rings could lead to a distinct blue‐shift of emission wavelengths from 553 to 470 nm. Also, the non‐radiative decay processes, including temperature‐independent and temperature‐dependent ones, were taken into account. The results may provide some valuable and meaningful information for designing high‐performance phosphorescent Pt(II) complexes. 相似文献

Let π be a set of primes and G a π-separable group. Isaacs defines the Bπ characters, which can be viewed as the "π-modular" characters in G, such that the Bp′ characters form a set of canonical lifts for the p-modular characters. By using Isaacs' work, Slattery has developed some Brauer's ideals of p-blocks to the π-blocks of a finite π-separable group, generalizing Brauer's three main theorems to the π-blocks. By approximating the distribution of the sum of correlated lognormals with some log‐extended‐skew‐normal distribution, we present closed‐form approximation formulae for pricing both Asian and basket options.
