We give a unified method to obtain the conservativeness of a class of Markov processes associated with lower bounded semi-Dirichlet forms on L 2(X;m), including symmetric diffusion processes, some non-symmetric diffusion processes and jump type Markov processes on X, where X is a locally compact separable metric space and m is a positive Radon measure on X with full topological support. Using the method, we give an example in each section, providing the conservativeness of the processes, that are given by the “increasingness of the volume of some sets(balls)” and “that of the coefficients on the sets” of the Markov processes. 相似文献

The stationary Markov process is considered and its circular autocorrelation function is investigated. More specifically, the transition density of the stationary Markov circular process is defined by two circular distributions, and we elucidate the structure of the circular autocorrelation when one of these distributions is uniform and the other is arbitrary. The asymptotic properties of the natural estimator of the circular autocorrelation function are derived. Furthermore, we consider the bivariate process of trigonometric functions and provide the explicit form of its spectral density matrix. Spatio-temporal velocity fields of an axisymmetric sudden expansion were measured using an ultrasonic velocity profiler and analyzed to investigate the transitional scheme of the spatial structure using two-dimensional Fourier transform and proper orthogonal decomposition techniques. The variation of the zero-crossing point, the fluctuation energy directed upstream and the eigenmode spectrum all have the same transitional scheme as a function of the Reynolds number. The transitional scheme can be classified Re d<1,000 for the laminar regime, Re d=1,000–3,000 for the transitional regime and Re d>3,000 for the turbulent regime. Especially, in the transitional regime, we found large changes in the flow structure at Re d=1,500 and 2,000. The jump at Re d=2,000 is caused by the change in the flow condition upstream. The jump at Re d=1,500 clearly shows a change in the spatial structure of the flow. 相似文献

X-ray fluorescence spectra of copper (Cu) metal, copper monoxide (CuO), and potassium chromate (K2CrO4) were recorded as a function of incident X-ray energy near the Cu K-edge and chromium (Cr) K-edge, respectively, using a conventional silicon drift detector. The spectra contained components due to elastic, inelastic, and multiple scattering, in addition to the Kα and Kβ lines. Cu and Cr K-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) spectra of Cu, CuO, and K2CrO4 were obtained by an intensity analysis of the Kα and Kβ lines. The intensity of the Kβ line for the different incident photon energies was obtained by numerically removing the additional scattering components using the MUSCAT program. These spectra exhibited a jump near the K absorption edges, which reproduced the spectral features obtained in transmission mode for both Cu, CuO, and K2CrO4. A chemical shift was also clearly identified in the X-ray absorption near edges structure using the X-ray fluorescence Kβ line. In addition, the Cr K-edge extended XAFS spectrum of K2CrO4 was clearly observed using the Cr Kβ fluorescent line. The XAFS measurements on the Kα and Kβ lines are possible, and they carry equally valuable information. 相似文献

Few solvents are capable of dissolving polyketones (PKs). 1,1,1,3,3,3‐Hexafluoro‐2‐propanol (hexafluoroisopropanol, HFIP) is a better solvent than trifluoroethanol and m‐cresol. When HFIP was evaporated from a PK/HFIP solution, a porous cast‐film with a microparticle structure was formed because the isotactic PKs adopted a helical conformation, and convection during evaporation of the high polarity and low‐boiling‐point HFIP caused aggregation and rolling of the polymer molecules. The addition of plasticizer suppressed particle formation, improving the surface structure and mechanical properties of the film. In particular, the dielectric properties of the film improved significantly. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are used as a contrast agent of the photoacoustic (PA) imaging. The efficiency of AuNPs has been discussed with the absorption cross section. However, the effects of the scattering of the light by AuNPs and surrounding medium on the PA signal from AuNPs have not been discussed. The PA signals from the aqueous solution of AuNPs were examined in the numerical simulation and the experiment. In the numerical simulation, the absorption and scattering cross sections of spherical and polyhedral AuNPs were calculated by Mie theory and discrete dipole approximation. Monte Carlo simulation calculated the absorbed light energy in the aqueous solution of AuNPs. Based on the PA wave equation, the PA signals were simulated. In the experiment, the PA signal from the aqueous solution of AuNP was measured by use of a piezoelectric film and a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser operated at 532 nm. The results of the numerical simulation and the experiment agreed well. In the numerical simulation and the experiment, a single Au nanocube with 50-nm edge generated the peak value of the PA signal significantly. It was approximately 350 times and twice as large as the peak values of the spherical AuNPs with 10- and 50-nm diameters, respectively. The peak value of the PA signal depended on both the absorption and scattering coefficients of the AuNPs and the surrounding medium. The peak value increased with the scattering coefficient in a quadratic manner. The character of the temporal profile of the PA signal such as full width at half maximum depended on the scattering coefficient of the AuNPs. 相似文献
