Axisymmetric problem of a nonhomogeneous elastic layer 总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
Summary The paper deals with a theoretical treatment of elastic behavior for a medium with nonhomogeneous materials property, which
is defined by the relation , i.e., shear modulus of elasticity G varies with the dimensionless axial coordinate by the power product form, arbitrarily. Fundamental differential equation for such nonhomogeneous medium has been already
proposed in [5]. It is given by a second-order partial differential equation. However, it was found that the fundamental equation
is not sufficient in general to solve several kinds of boundary-value problems. On the other hand, it is shown in the present
paper making use of the fundamental equations system for a nonhomogeneous medium, which has been proposed in our previous
paper [7], it is possible to solve axisymmetric problems for a thick plate (layer) subjected to an arbitrarily distributed
load or a concentrated load on its surfaces. Numerical calculations are carried out for several cases, taking into account
the variation of the nonhomogeneous parameter m. The numerical results for displacements stress and components are shown in graphical form.

This paper is concerned with the theoretical treatment of the transient piezothermoelastic problem involving a thick functionally graded thermopiezoelectric strip due to nonuniform heat supply in the width direction. The thermal, thermoelastic and piezoelectric constants of the strip are assumed to vary exponentially in the thickness direction. The transient two-dimensional temperature is analyzed by the methods of Laplace and finite sine transformations. We obtain the exact solution for a simply supported strip under the state of plane strain. Some numerical results for the temperature change, the displacement, the stress and electric potential distributions are presented in figures and table. Furthermore, the influence of the nonhomogeneity of the material and that of the electric boundary conditions are investigated. 相似文献

Summary A neural network model is applied to optimization problems of material compositions for a functionally graded material plate
with arbitrarily distributed and continuously varied material properties in the thickness direction. Unsteady temperature
distribution is evaluated by taking into account the bounds of the number of the layers. Thermal stress components for an
infinite functionally graded material plate are formulated under traction-free mechanical conditions. As a numerical example,
a plate composed of zirconium oxide and titanium alloy is considered. In the optimization problem of minimizing the thermal
stress distribution, the numerical calculations are carried out making use of the neural network. The optimum material composition
is determined by taking into account the effect of temperature-dependence of material properties. The results obtained by
neural network and ordinary nonlinear programming method are compared.

This paper is concerned with the theoretical treatment of the steady-state thermoelastic problem of a functionally graded cylindrical panel due to nonuniform heat supply in the circumferential direction. The thermal and thermoelastic constants of the cylindrical panel are expressed as power functions of the radial coordinate. We obtain the exact solution for the two-dimensional temperature change in a steady state, and thermal stresses of a simple supported cylindrical panel under the state of plane strain. Some numerical results are shown in figures and tables. A non-crossing geometric graph is a graph embedded on a set of points in the plane with non-crossing straight line segments.
In this paper we present a general framework for enumerating non-crossing geometric graphs on a given point set. Applying
our idea to specific enumeration problems, we obtain faster algorithms for enumerating plane straight-line graphs, non-crossing
spanning connected graphs, non-crossing spanning trees, and non-crossing minimally rigid graphs. Our idea also produces efficient
enumeration algorithms for other graph classes, for which no algorithm has been reported so far, such as non-crossing matchings,
non-crossing red-and-blue matchings, non-crossing k-vertex or k-edge connected graphs, or non-crossing directed spanning trees. The proposed idea is relatively simple and potentially applies

This study deals with the development of the approximate method to analyze the sound field around equally spaced finite obstacles, using the periodic boundary condition. First, on the assumption that the equally spaced finite obstacles are the periodically arranged obstacles, the sound field is analyzed by boundary integral equation method with a Green’s function which satisfies the periodic boundary condition. Furthermore, by comparing these results and the exact solution by using the fundamental solution as Green’s function, the validity of the approximate method is also investigated. Next, in order to evaluate the applicability of the approximate method, the simple formula using some parameters, i.e., the frequency, the period, and the number of obstacles, etc., is proposed.
