Asymmetric amplification during self‐replication is a key feature that is used to explain the origin of homochirality. Asymmetric autocatalysis of pyrimidyl alkanol in the asymmetric addition of diisopropylzinc to pyrimidine‐5‐carbaldehyde is a unique example of this phenomenon. Crystallization of zinc alkoxides of this 5‐pyrimidyl alkanol and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis of the alkoxide crystals reveal the existence of tetramer or higher oligomer structures in this asymmetric autocatalytic system.  相似文献

The regulation of multicolor fluorescence changes in mechanochromic fluorescence (MCF) remains a challenging task. Herein, we report the regulation of MCF using a donor-acceptor structure. Two crystal polymorphs, BTD-pCHO(O) and BTD-pCHO(R) produced by the introduction of formyl groups to an MCF dye, respond to a mechanical stimulus, allowing a three-color fluorescence change. Specifically, the orange-colored fluorescence of the metastable BTD-pCHO(O) polymorph changed to a deep-red color in the amorphous-like state to finally give a red color in the stable BTD-pCHO(R) polymorph. This change occurred by mechanical grinding followed by vapor fuming. The two different crystal packing patterns were selectively regulated by the electronic effect of the introduced functional groups. The two types of selectively formed crystals in BTD(F)-pCHO bearing fluorine atoms, and BTD(OMe)-pCHO bearing methoxy groups, respond to mechanical grinding, allowing for the regulation of multicolor MCL from a three-color change to two different types of two-color changes.  相似文献

Synthesis of fully conjugated cyclophanes containing large-size polycyclic aromatics is challenging. Now, three benzidine-linked, hexa-peri-hexabenzocoronene (superbenzene)-based ortho-, para-, and meta-cyclophanes are synthesized through intermolecular Yamamoto coupling reaction of structurally pre-organized precursors. Subsequent oxidative dehydrogenation gave the corresponding quinoidal benzidine-linked cyclophanes. Their geometries were confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis and their electronic properties were investigated by electronic absorption, cyclic voltammetry, and DFT calculations. The quinoidal benzidine-linked cyclophanes show thermally populated paramagnetic activity with a relatively large singlet-triplet energy gap. Two enantiomers for the ortho-cyclophanes ( 1-NH and 1-N ) were isolated and their chiral figure-of-eight macrocyclic structures were identified. The cage-like cyclophanes 2-NH and 3-NH with concave surface can selectively encapsulate fullerene C70.  相似文献

Encapsulation of chiral guests in the dissymmetric capsule 1?4 BF4 formed diastereomeric supramolecular complexes G ? 1?4 BF4 ( G : guest). When chiral guests 2 a – q were encapsulated within the dissymmetric space of the self‐assembled capsule 1?4 BF4, circular dichroism (CD) was observed at the absorption bands that are characteristic of the π–π* transition of the bipyridine moiety of the capsule, which suggests that the P and M helicities of the capsule are biased by the chiral guest complexation. The P helicity of diastereomeric complex (S)‐ 2 l ? 1?4 BF4 was determined to be predominant, based on CD exciton coupling theory and DFT calculations. The diastereoselectivity was highly influenced by the ester substituents, such that benzyl ester moieties were good for improving the diastereoselectivity. A diastereomeric excess of 98 % was achieved upon the complexation of 2 j . The relative enthalpic and entropic components for the distereoselectivity were obtained from a van’t Hoff plot. The enthalpic components were linearly correlated with the substituent Hammett parameters (σp+). The electron‐rich benzyl ester moieties generated donor–acceptor π–π stacking interactions with the bipyridine moiety, which resulted in a significant difference in energy between the predominant and subordinate diastereomeric complexes.  相似文献

Mesoscale molecular dynamics simulations are performed to analyze the curing process of an epoxy resin with polyfunctional amines on a generic surface. The coarse grained potentials were derived from all-atomistic molecular dynamics simulations using iterative Boltzmann inversion. The reactive scheme incorporates cross-linking between an epoxy resin and an amine, as well as amine adsorption on the surface. The structure of the cured network is examined and compared with equilibrium properties of the uncured system. Special attention has been paid on the implications of the surface that is believed to play a crucial role in the performance of epoxy systems.  相似文献

In a tight host–guest complex assembled solely by nondirectional van der Waals forces, unique motions of the guest, such as solid‐state inertial rotations, emerge. The regulation of dynamic motions is an important element to be explored for novel functions of such complexes, which may be seemingly difficult to achieve because of the nondirectionality of the assembling forces. A regulated, single‐axis rotation was made possible by choosing an appropriate shape of the guest in the tubular host. Specifically, an ellipsoidal guest was made to stand along a cylinder axis of the host, which consequently resulted in single‐axis rotations of the guest in the solid. The rotational frequency was considerably high for solid‐state rotations but was suppressed to 10 GHz, which was 1/20 of the isotropic rotation of a spherical guest. In‐depth kinetic analyses quantitatively revealed that the entropy cost was a determining factor that regulated the dynamics.  相似文献

A synthetic study of kosinostatin aglycone is reported. Synthesis of key intermediate lactone 3, which corresponds to the BCDE ring fragment, was accomplished, and the precursor BCD ring fragment 5 was synthesized via two routes. First, 5 was synthesized from 2,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde 16 by the combination of typical known transformations including efficient application of non-aqueous OsO4 oxidation in the presence of PhB(OH)2. However the synthesis required 15 long steps, and its main difficulty was ortho-alkoxycarbonylmethylation of 1-naphthol. Next we attempted to apply our recently developed alkoxycarbonylmethylation of diazonaphthoquinone for the synthesis of 5, and 5 was successfully synthesized in 9 steps from the same starting compound 16. Finally, 5 was stereoselectively converted to lactone 3 via trifluoroacetic acid-mediated cyclization of the 3,4-epoxycylohexanecarboxylic acid derivative.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish a model to analyze the transport current performance of a high-temperature superconducting (HTS) coil, considering the dependencies of critical current and n-value of an HTS tape on magnetic field and magnetic field angles. This analysis shows that relatively large electric fields appear at the coil’s edges, preventing improvement in the transport current performance of the coil. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose a graded coil in which several coil edges of different heights are separated and graded. Analysis of its performance shows that the coil’s critical current increases, thus confirming that there exists an optimum coil cross section at which the stored energy and central magnetic field improve 2.1 times and 45%, respectively, compared with a typical rectangular coil that employs the same total length of the HTS tape. It is recommended that these results of the coil should be applied to SMES.  相似文献
