The NA60 experiment at the CERN SPS has studied low-mass muon pairs in 158 A GeV In–In collisions. A strong excess of pairs is observed above the yield expected from neutral meson decays. The unprecedented sample size close to 400000 events and the good mass resolution of about 2% made it possible to isolate the excess by subtraction of the decay sources. The shape of the resulting mass spectrum shows some non-trivial centrality dependence, but is largely consistent with a dominant contribution from π+π-→ϱ→μ+μ- annihilation. The associated ϱ spectral function exhibits considerable broadening, but essentially no shift in mass. The pT-differential mass spectra show the excess to be much stronger at low pT than at high pT. The results are compared to theoretical model predictions; they tend to rule out models linking hadron masses directly to the chiral condensate. PACS 25.75.-q; 12.38.Mh; 13.85.Qk  相似文献

The preparation and properties of twenty five new cationic rhodium(I) complexes with tetrafluorobenzobarrelene and mono- or bidentate nitrogen or phosphorus donor ligands are described. The complexes with tertiary phosphines show high selectivities in the hydrogenation of 1-hexyne and several diolefins towards monoolefins. The dependence of the reduction rate upon the basicity of the phosphine has been studied.  相似文献

A method is proposed for calculating the ψd potential of the diffuse part of the electrical double layer in micelles on the basis of data concerning the binding of counterions by these micelles, the composition of the intermicellar medium, and the association of surface-active ions. The charges of sodium dodecyl sulfate micelles in aqueous solutions at various concentrations of the surfactant and background electrolyte are determined by the potentiometric method. The calculated ψd values turned out to be much lower than the values of the electrokinetic potentials, thus allowing the conclusion that the slipping plane corresponding to the electrophoretic motion of micelles with respect to the intermicellar medium is localized in the dense part of the double layer.__________Translated from Kolloidnyi Zhurnal, Vol. 67, No. 3, 2005, pp. 410–415.Original Russian Text Copyright © 2005 by Us’yarov.  相似文献

Photoinitiated radical carbonylation with [(11)C]carbon monoxide at low concentration was employed in syntheses of carbonyl-(11)C-labeled amides using alkyl iodides and amines as precursors. Eleven (11)C-amides were synthesized in up to 74% decay-corrected radiochemical yields with reaction times of 400 s and with up to 95% conversion of carbon monoxide. Starting with 26.3 GBq of [(11)C]carbon monoxide, 10.6 GBq of 1-cyclohexane [(11)C]carbonyl-4-phenyl-piperazine (15) was obtained within 35 min from the end of bombardment (33 microA) and with a specific radioactivity of 192 GBq/micromol at the same time point. The influence of solvents was investigated. The described procedure extends the range of accessible labeling methods. The method may also be useful for preparation of (13)C- and (14)C-substituted compounds.  相似文献

Understanding the mechanisms of solid-liquid systems is fundamental to the development and operation of processes for the production of agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals. The use of a strong inorganic base in an organic solvent, typically, potassium carbonate in dimethylformamide, is often used to facilitate the formation of a required anionic organic nucleophile. In this paper, the dissolution kinetics of potassium carbonate in dimethylformamide at elevated temperatures is studied in the presence of ultrasound, as revealed via monitoring of the deprotonation of 2-cyanophenol by dissolved K2CO3. Two independent experimental methods were employed; the loss of 2-cyanophenol was detected electrochemically at a platinum microdisk working electrode, and the formation of the 2-cyanophenolate anion was monitored via UV/visible spectroscopic analysis. The results were modeled by fitting the experimental data to a theoretical model for the surface-controlled dissolution of solid particles. The dissolution rate constant, k, for the dissolution of K2CO3 in DMF was found to have a value of (1.3 +/- 0.2) x 10(-7) mol cm(-2) s(-1) at 100 degrees C, and the activation energy for the dissolution was 44.2 +/- 0.4 kJ mol(-1) over the temperature range of 70-100 degrees C studied.  相似文献

(Pentahalophenyl) (p-tolylisocyanide)gold(I) complexes were prepared by treating Au(C6X5) (tetrahydrothiophen) (X = F, Cl or Br) with p-MeC6H4NC. Their reactivity toward nucleophiles was studied and found to decrease in the sequence: primary amines > ammonia > secondary amines > aromatic amines > alcohols; the effects of the various C6X5 groups were less pronounced, but decreased according to C6F5 > C6Cl5 > C6Br5.Twenty-five novel gold(I) carbene derivatives were isolated.  相似文献

A new series of cationic areneiridium(I) complexes of formula [Ir(barrelene)(arene)]+ or [Ir(barrelene)(PhNRPh)]+ (R= Ph or H) have been synthesized from neutral iridium complexes of the type [IrY(barrelene)]x (barrelene = Me3TFB, Y = Cl or OMe (x = 2), Y = acac (x = 1); barrelene = TFB, Y = OMe (x = 2), Y = acac (x = 1)). The crystal structures of [Ir(Me3TFB)(1,4-C6H4Me2)]ClO4 and [Ir(TFB)(PhNPh2)]BF4·CH2Cl2 have been determined by X-ray diffraction. They crystallize in the space groups Pbca and Pna21 respectively with lattice constants of 17.6947(11), 15.8072(10), 16.0019(11) Å and 9.8059(2), 20.8097(9), 14.3367(4) Å. Final R factors were 0.063 and 0.042 for the observed data. Both complexes show a staggered arrangement between the arene and the TFB moieties and deviation from planarity of the coordinated arene ligands. In the second complex the IrC and NC distances, the CNC angle, the type of arene puckering, and the spectroscopic data indicate a distortion of the coordinated arene towards a η5-coordinated iminocyclohexadienyl form.  相似文献

The preparation and properties of complexes of general formulae [Rh(CS)-(HL)(PR3)2]ClO4 (HL = pyrazole (HPz), 3-methylpyrazole (H3-MePz), 3,5-dimethylpyrazole (H3,5-Me2Pz), PR3 = triphenylphosphine, tricyclohexylphosphine) and [(PR3)2(CS)Rh(μ-Pz)AuPPh3]ClO4 are reported. Complexes of the first set react with potassium hydroxide to give [Rh(μ-L)(CS)(PPh3)2 or RhPz(CS)(PR3)2 complexes. The structure of the complex [Rh(3,5-Me2Pz)(CS)(PPh3)]2 has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/c, with Z = 4 in a unit cell of dimensions a = 12.700(11), b = 17.217(16), c = 23.041(18) Å, β = 116.55(8)°. The structure has been solved by Patterson and Fourier methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares to R = 0.059 for 1978 independent reflections. The structure consists of dimeric complexes, in which each rhodium atom is in a square-planar environment being bonded to a carbon atom of a thiocarbonyl ligand, a phosphorus atom of a triphenylphosphine molecule and to two nitrogen atoms of pyrazolate ligands bridging the metal atoms. The dihedral angle of 71.1° between such two square planes leads to a bent configuration with an intramolecular rhodium-rhodium distance of 3.220 Å. The thiocarbonyl and triphenylphosphine ligands are in a trans disposition.  相似文献

Reaction of t-BuP(O)(OSiMe(3))(OH) with Me(3)Al leads to the formation of [Me(2)Al(mu-O)(2)P(OSiMe(3))(t-Bu)](2) (1) whereas Me(2)AlCl reacts with Ph(2)P(O)(OH) to yield [(Cl)(Me)Al(mu-O)(2)PPh(2)](2) (2). These compounds represent the first examples of functionalized dimeric four-ring type aluminophosphonate systems. The double four-ring type gallophosphonate, namely, [t-BuPO(3)GaMe](4), reacts with n-Bu(4)NHF(2) under ambient conditions, resulting in the formation of a monomeric gallophosphonate [n-Bu(4)N][MeGa[t-BuPO(2)(OH)](3)] (3). These derivatives have been adequately characterized using various spectroscopic techniques and X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献
