Spatially resolved functionalization of 2D materials is highly demanded but very challenging to achieve. The chemical patterning is typically tackled by preventing contact between the reagent and material, which brings various accompanying challenges. Photochemical transformation on the other hand inherently provides remote high spatiotemporal resolution using the cleanest reagent—a photon. Herein, we combine two competing reactions on a graphene substrate to create functionalization patterns on a micrometer scale via the Mitsunobu reaction. The mild reaction conditions allow introduction of covalently dynamic linkages, which can serve as reversible labels for surface‐ or graphene‐enhanced Raman spectroscopy characterization of the patterns prepared. The proposed methodology thus provides a pathway for local introduction of arbitrary functional groups on graphene.  相似文献

A series of flavin–cyclodextrin conjugates has been prepared and tested in the enantioselective oxidations of prochiral aromatic and aliphatic sulfides with hydrogen peroxide. The newly prepared conjugates contain isoalloxazinium or alloxazinium moieties attached to the primary rim of α- and β-cyclodextrins at the C-6 positions. In addition, flavinium units were attached to the secondary rim of the β-cyclodextrin macrocycle. The relationship between the structural features and the catalytic performance of the conjugates, including those recently reported by us, was analyzed. The rate and enantioselectivity of the sulfoxidations catalyzed by flavin–cyclodextrin conjugates are influenced mainly by the size of the cyclodextrin cavity, the type of flavin unit (alloxazine or isoalloxazine), and by the relative orientation of the flavin and cyclodextrin moieties.  相似文献

Deazaflavins are well suited for reductive chemistry acting via a consecutive photo-induced electron transfer, in which their triplet state and semiquinone – the latter is formed from the former after electron transfer from a sacrificial electron donor – are key intermediates. Guided by mechanistic investigations aiming to increase intersystem crossing by the internal heavy atom effect and optimising the concentration conditions to avoid unproductive excited singlet reactions, we synthesised 5-aryldeazaflavins with Br or Cl substituents on different structural positions via a three-component reaction. Bromination of the deazaisoalloxazine core leads to almost 100 % triplet yield but causes photo-instability and enhances unproductive side reactions. Bromine on the 5-phenyl group in ortho position does not affect the photostability, increases the triplet yield, and allows its efficient usage in the photocatalytic dehalogenation of bromo- and chloroarenes with electron-donating methoxy and alkyl groups even under aerobic conditions. Reductive powers comparable to lithium are achieved.  相似文献

A series of 10‐arylflavins (10‐phenyl‐, 10‐(2′,6′‐dimethylphenyl)‐, 10‐(2′,6′‐diethylphenyl)‐, 10‐(2′,6′‐diisopropylphenyl)‐, 10‐(2′‐tert‐butylphenyl)‐, and 10‐(2′,6′‐dimethylphenyl)‐3‐methylisoalloxazine ( 2 a – f )) was prepared as potentially nonaggregating flavin photocatalysts. The investigation of their structures in the crystalline phase combined with 1H‐DOSY NMR spectroscopic experiments in CD3CN, CD3CN/D2O (1:1), and D2O confirm the decreased ability of 10‐arylflavins 2 to form aggregates relative to tetra‐O‐acetyl riboflavin ( 1 ). 10‐Arylflavins 2 a – d do not interact by π–π interactions, which are restricted by the 10‐phenyl ring oriented perpendicularly to the isoalloxazine skeleton. On the other hand, N3? H???O hydrogen bonds were detected in their crystal structures. In the structure of 10‐aryl‐3‐methylflavin ( 2 f ) with a substituted N3 position, weak C? H???O bonds and weak π–π interactions were found. 10‐Arylflavins 2 were tested as photoredox catalysts for the aerial oxidation of 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol to the corresponding aldehyde (model reaction), thus showing higher efficiency relative to 1 . The quantum yields of 4‐methoxybenzyl alcohol oxidation reactions mediated by arylflavins 2 were higher by almost one order of magnitude relative to values in the presence of 1 .  相似文献

Untangling is a process in which some vertices in a drawing of a planar graph are moved to obtain a straight-line plane drawing. The aim is to move as few vertices as possible. We present an algorithm that untangles the cycle graph C n while keeping Ω(n 2/3) vertices fixed. For any connected graph G, we also present an upper bound on the number of fixed vertices in the worst case. The bound is a function of the number of vertices, maximum degree, and diameter of G. One consequence is that every 3-connected planar graph has a drawing δ such that at most O((nlog n)2/3) vertices are fixed in every untangling of δ.  相似文献

Two new artificial photolyase models that recognize pyrimidine dimers in protic and aprotic organic solvents as well as in water through a combination of charge and hydrogen-bonding interactions and use a mimic of the flavine to achieve repair through reductive photoinduced electron transfer are presented. Fluorescence and NMR titration studies show that it forms a 1:1 complex with pyrimidine dimers with binding constants of approximately 10(3) M(-1) in acetonitrile or methanol, while binding constants in water at pH 7.2 are slightly lower. Excitation of the complex with visible light leads to clean and rapid cycloreversion of the pyrimidine dimer through photoinduced electron transfer catalysis. The reaction in water is significantly faster than in organic solvents. The reaction slows down at higher conversions due to product inhibition.  相似文献

The paper reports on surface morphology, structure and microhardness of TiSi–N films formed by cosputtering from two target-facing unbalanced magnetrons, equipped with pure Ti and Si targets, on an unheated substrate rotating in front of both targets. The ratio Si/Ti in the TiSi–N film was achieved by modifying the magnitude of currents in the individual magnetrons and by the addition of nitrogen to the film. The rotation of the substrate has a strong effect on the film deposition rate and its morphology. The deposition rate is 3 times lower than that of the film deposited on a stationary substrate. The surface roughness of a polycrystalline Ti film deposited on the rotating substrate is considerably higher than that on a stationary substrate. On the contrary, the surface of an amorphous Si film is smooth and there is no difference between the roughness of Si films sputtered on stationary and on rotating substrates. The hardness of the film increases with increasing Si content and with the addition of nitrogen to the TiSi film. The Ti(26 at.%)Si(8.5 at.%)N(65 at.%)-film sputtered on an unheated rotating steel substrate, held at a floating potential, exhibited the best result with a hardness of 29 GPa.  相似文献

Density values for dilute aqueous solutions of five cyclic ethers obtained using the Anton Paar DSA 5000 vibrating-tube densimeter and the laboratory-made flow densimeter are presented together with partial molar volumes at infinite dilution (standard partial molar volumes) calculated from the measured results. The cyclic ethers were either five-members cycles with one or two oxygen atoms (oxolane, 1,3-dioxolane) or six-members cycles with one, two, or three oxygen atoms (oxane, 1,4-dioxane, 1,3,5-trioxane). The measurements were performed at temperatures from T = 278 K up to T = 373 K and at either atmospheric pressure or at p = 0.5 MPa. The group contribution method is proposed and values of group contributions are evaluated. Standard partial molar volumes predicted for several other cyclic ethers including large cycles (crown ethers) are compared with available data from the literature.  相似文献
