Four Electrons in a Coupled Three-Layer Quantum Dot

We investigate four electrons confined in a coupled three-layer quantum dot, by the exact diagonalization method. A vertical magnetic field to the confinement plane is considered. The ground-state electronic structures and angular momentum transitions are investigated. We find that for four-electron Q Ds, the Series of the magic numbers in three-layer QDs are different from those in one-, and two-layer Q Ds. These are connected to the exchange and rotational symmetries of the systems.     

EXCITON STATES IN QUANTUM DISKS

The method of few-body physics is applied to the calculation of the low-lying states of the exciton of a GaAs disk-like quantum dot with a parabolic potential. The binding energy of the exciton in quantum disks is calculated for two different thicknesses as a function of the disk size. The four lowest exciton states dependent on the disk thickness are investigated.     

Two-dimensional hydrogen negative ion in a magnetic field

Making use of the adiabatic hyperspherical approach, we report a calculation for the energy spectrum of the ground and low-excited states of a two-dimensional hydrogen negative ion H^- in a magnetic field. The results show that the ground and low-excited states of H^- in low-dimensional space are more stable than those in three-dimensional space and there may exist more bound states.     

对称性对原子团簇Ar3低激发能谱的影响

采用少体物理方法，计算了惰性元素三原子团簇Ａｒ３的低激发能谱，分析了量子力学对称性对Ａｒ３的几何结构和内部运动的影响，给出了Ａｒ３低激发能谱的几条转动带。     

10B中子非弹性散射的理论计算

本文介绍了根据直接作用模型,采用DWBA方法,对~(10)B快中子非弹性散射的一组实验数据进行分析,获得了与实验数据符合较好的理论结果及一组参数,由所得参数,计算了入射中子能量为7.54～20MeV的~(10)B(n,n′)~(10)B~★0.717MeV激发态非弹性散射的积分截面和角分布,补充了实验所缺的数据。 In this paper, we analysed the experimental data of reaction cross sections induced byfast neutron on ~(10)B by using the direct nuclear reaction theory and the DWBA method. We obtainedthe results in agreement with experimental data and reported a set of parameters. Furthermore, byusing the set of parameters we have calculated systematically the inelastic integrated cross sectionsand angular distribution of ~(10)B(n, n′) ~(10)B 0.717 MeV excited state for incident neutron energiesfrom 7.54 MeV to 20.0 MeV. ...     

Ground State of a Two-Electron Quantum Dot with a Gaussian Confining Potential

We investigate the ground-state properties of a two-dimensional two-electron quantum dot with a Gaussian confining potential under the influence of perpendicular homogeneous magnetic field. Calculations are carried out by using the method of numerical diagonalization of Hamiltonian matrix within the effective-mass approximation. A ground-state behaviour （singlet→triplet state transitions） as a function of the strength of a magnetic field has been found. It is found that the dot radius R of the Gaussian potential is important for the ground-state transition and the feature of ground-state for the Gaussian potential quantum dot （QD）, and the parabolic potential QDs are similar when R is larger. The larger the quantum dot radius, the smaller the magnetic field for the singlet-triplet transition of the ground-state of two interacting electrons in the Gaussian quantum dot.
