Beltrami定理的推广

本文研究了Berwald流形之间的射影对应.利用Berwald流形上Weyl射影曲率张量的射影不变性,证明了当n>2时,与射影平坦的Berwald流形射影对应的黎曼流形M~n是常曲率流形,从而推广了Beltrami定理.     

关于减小体积的调和映射

1.二个同维数的光滑流形之间,映射的体积元之比是映射的最简单、最重要的度量不变量。陈省身教授[1]讨论了同维数 Hermitian 流形间和乐映射的减小体积性质,推广了著名的 Schwarz 引理,陈省身和 Goldberg[2]又对同维数实黎曼流形间的调和映射作了研究,得到若干减小体积的定理。本文将考虑二个不同维数的黎曼流形间的调和映射,以便推广[2]中有关的结论。     

微分形式的Liouville型定理

本文建立了具有有界的负截面曲率的完备单连通黎曼流形上 .其应力能量张量守恒的 L2 -形式的一个消失定理 .从而推广了忻元龙的新近结果 ,给出了 Dodziuk猜想的部分回答     

欧氏空间子流形的第一特征值的估计

本文利用浸入在欧氏空间中的子流形的第二基本形式的长度平方估计其Laplace算子的第一特征值的上界,从而建立紧致子流形等距同构于球面的一个特征.     

Topology of Certain Closed Submanifolds in Euclidean Space

Recently P.F,Leung has investigated the topological characters of certaincompact oriented submanifolds minimally immersed in the unit sphere S~(n+p).It iswell known that a immersed submanifold in S~(n+p) can be always regarded as a sub-manifold in n+p+1-dimensional Euclidean space R~(n+p+1) and there is no minimalclosed submanifold in R~(n+p+1).Thus,it is a natural and important problem tostudy the topological properties of general closed submanifolds in R~N. 黎曼流形上共形killing P—形式的对偶性

H.Yanamoto 在[2],[3]中有一猜想:对于任何黎曼流形 M~n,共形 Killingp-形式 u 的对偶*u 还是共形 Killing 形式。当 n=3时,这一结论的正确性由[3]给出.本文证明了对任何高维流形,结论都正确.     

爱因斯坦流形中超曲面的平均曲率流

本文证明了一个拼嵌的爱因斯坦流形中的任何超曲面在沿其平均曲率向量演化时，如果初发始曲面满足保持其截曲率为正的某些条件，则在有限时间内超曲而将收缩成一点。

LOWER BOUNDS FOR TNE FIRST GAP OF EIGENVALUES IN THE SCHRDINGER OPERATOR ON SIMPLE RIEMANNIAN MANIFOLDS

We give a lower bound for the first gap λ_2—λ_1 of the twolowerst eigenvalues of the Schr(o|¨)dinger operator-△+W(p) with the Dirichletboundary condition and a strictly convex potential W(p)on M in which M is acompact simple Riemannian manifold with smooth strictly convex boundary (?)MHere a compact Riemannian manifold M is said to be simple if M～(?)M istopologically R~2.We prove thatλ_2-λ_1≥(π~2)/(d~2)+min{0,-(n-1)K}where d is the diameter of M and-(n-1)K,(K≥0)the lower bound of theRicci curvature of M.This work generalizes the results in the classical Eucli-dean situation due to Singer,Wong and Yau,Yu and Zhong to a kind of curvedRiemannian manifold.     

一个Chern—Kuiper型的不可浸入性定理

本文建立了一个新的Chern-Kuiper型的不可浸入性定理.假设M是一个n-维紧致的黎曼流形,M的Ricci和数量曲率R满足Ric+R≥0andR＞n(n-1)λ-2,则M不能等距地浸入在欧氏空间Rn+1的半径为λ的闭球中.从而推广了Deshmukh和Al-Gwaiz的结果.
