The Minimal Higgsless Model predicts the existence of new vector gauge boson W1± . 描述了兰州重离子加速器国家实验室最近建成并已投入运行的新装置———兰州放射性核束流线 (RIBLL) .RIBLL是PF型双消色差反对称结构放射性核束分析设备 ,它的立体角接收度≥ 6 .5msr,动量接受度± 5 % ,最大磁刚度4.2Tm ,元素分辨>150 ,质量分辨>300 ,最短分辨时间 <1μs.初级束流的入射角在 0°~ 5°范围可调 .RIBLL已为第一批物理实验提供17N ,8He等多种放射性核束流 .  相似文献

高空大气气温变化引起地面或地下探测到的宇宙线μ强度变化.本文介绍了基于日内瓦附近Payerne气象站气球数据的大气μ子有效温度的计算,并选取代表性的8个大气样本模拟了L3+Cosmics探测器位置的宇宙线μ子温度效应,计算了温度系数,得到极端高空温度情况下可能探测到的μ子强度变化的量级,为L3+Cosmicsμ谱精细测量和温度系数的抽取提供参考.  相似文献

In the LHC experiment, the neutral pions produced during jet fragmentation are the background sources for all physics channels with high-energy photons in their final state. In this paper, the application of the three-dimensional parametric formula for electromagnetic (EM) showers, which we developed in the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer II experiment, is presented to distinguish the unconverted photons from the neutral pions. With the constructed electromagnetic calorimeter (ECAL) in a GEANT4 simulation, the parametric formulae were validated and the unconverted γπ0 discrimination was performed with the Toolkit for Multivariate Data Analysis (TMVA) package in ROOT for different transverse energies ranging from 15 GeV to 75 GeV, which is the most sensitive region for light Higgs (with mass ~120 GeV) searches with the channel H→γγ. With this discrimination method and the selected transverse energy region, we can reject π0 with the efficiency from ~40% (65--75 GeV) to ~90% (15--25 GeV) when keeping 90% γ efficiency.  相似文献

报道了用双维位置灵敏光电倍增管读出的CsI(T1)探测器,其CsI(T1)晶体厚度为10mm,灵敏面积为60mm×60mm.探测器的空间位置分辨为0.81mm(FWHM).用蒙特卡罗的方法对该探测器作了进一步模拟研究,其结果与实际测试的结果很好地一致.  相似文献

In this paper a feasibility study of the Bc meson to measure its mass and lifetime is described with the general purpose detector at the LHC. The study solely concentrated on the J/ψπ+, J/ψ→μ+μ decay channel of the Bc and it was concluded that about 120 events can be selected in the first fb-1 of data. With this data sample, the mass resolution was estimated to be 2.0(stat.)MeV/c2 while the cτ resolution was found to be 13.1(stat.)μm, i.e. the lifetime resolution to be 0.044(stat.)ps.  相似文献

在兰州放射性束流装置RIBLL上 ,利用磁刚度Bρ、飞行时间tTOF和多重望远镜ΔE- E联合探测方法测量了69Me V/u 36Ar轰击Be靶产生的 P同位素碎片的同位素分布,并与 EPAX经验公式的计算结果进行了比较 ,在质子滴线区首次鉴别出了新核素25PThe mass distribution of the phosphor fragments induced by projectile fragmentation reaction of 69 MeV/u 36Ar + 9Be was measured at the projectile fragment separator RIBLL at IMP. The fragment products were identified by determining the magnetic rigidity Bρ , the time of flight tTOF and their energy loss ΔE .
