Abstract

The hydrolysis of p-nirrophenyl picolinate (PNPP) catalyzed by the Cu(II) and Zn(H) complexes of d-glucosamine schiff base was investigated kinetically by observing the rates of the release of p-nitrophenol in the buffered micellor solution at different pit and 25°C. The scheme for reaction acting mode involving a ternary complex contain ligand, metal ion and substrate in micelle was establish and the reaction mechanisms were discussed The experimental results indicated that the complexes catalyzed efficiently the hydrolysis of PNPP, especially Zn(II) complex. The rate constant kN, which shows the catalytic reactivity of complexes, WBI determined to be 0.4251 s?1 far Cu(II) complex at pH 7 60 in micellar solution. The catalytic reactivity of Zn(II) complex were much larger than Cu(II) complex, the kN was determined to be 3.1914 s?1 at same pH value.  相似文献

The galloping oscillation with a single rotational degree of freedom is investigated for a prismatic beam with a rectangular cross-section. For this particular geometric configuration, the effect of the unsteady aerodynamic forces can be understood as a combination of aerodynamic stiffness and damping terms, with the latter being the most relevant for the instability behaviour. A theoretical prediction of both these effects is made for this type of galloping behaviour, based on a quasi-steady aerodynamic approach. Comparison to experimental results obtained in wind tunnel experiments reveals significant shortcomings of the quasi-steady approach in predicting, in particular, the damping effect. For the stiffness effect, the agreement is much better.  相似文献

Electrowetting-Based Variable-Focus Lens for Miniature Systems   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The meniscus between two immiscible liquids of different refractive indices can be used as a lens. A change in curvature of this meniscus by electrostatic control of the solid/liquid interfacial tension leads to a change in focal distance. It is demonstrated that two liquids in a tube form a self-centred variable-focus lens. The optical properties of this lens were investigated experimentally. We designed and constructed a miniature camera module based on this variable lens suitable for mobile applications. Furthermore, the liquid lens was applied in a Blu-ray Disc optical recording system to enable dual layer disc reading/writing.  相似文献

The spectroscopic characteristics of adducts derived from the covalent binding of the carcinogen 2-aminofluorene to the C8 position of deoxyguanosine [N-(deoxyguanosin-8-yl)-2-amino-fluorene, dGuo-C8-AF], and from an adduct of similar structure formed with the synthetic polynucleotide poly(dG-dC).poly(dG-dC), were investigated. At 77 K both adducts are characterized by well-defined and rather narrow fluorescence emission spectra with maxima at 370 and 390 nm characteristic of the aromatic, monomolecular 2-aminofluorene (AF) residue. In contrast, at room temperature, the fluorescence is characterized by a broad, structureless emission band with a maximum at 460 nm in aqueous mixtures, shifting to 415 nm in solvents of lower polarity (100% propanol); the maxima are located at intermediate wavelengths in solutions of different propanol/water compositions, and this emission is attributed to an excited state complex (exciplex). The fluorescence quantum yield decreases when either the solvent polarity or the temperature are increased, varying from 5.4% (100% propanol) to 0.04-0.05% (100% H2O). The fluorescence decay profiles of dGuo-C8-AF adducts (measured at the National Synchrotron Light Source facility at the Brookhaven National Laboratory) can be roughly, but not exactly, modeled in terms of two exponential decay components in the range of about 0.3-1.0 ns with the propanol concentration greater than 60%; at lower propanol concentrations, a single short lifetime is observed and in 100% water solutions its value is 0.08 ns. The shorter lifetime, favored in solvent mixtures of higher polarities, is attributed to an exciplex with significant charge-transfer character.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Periodic solutions bifurcating from a steady state of differential-differenceand integrodifferential equations are studied. An algorithmfor determining the asymptotic orbital stability, directionof bifurcation, period, and asymptotic form of these solutionsis presented. This algorithm is applied to the Hutchinson-Wrightequation and to an equation with two delays. A 10-week, open-ended experiment for a junior/senior-level integrated laboratory course is described. The project involves the synthesis and instrumental characterization of two monosubstituted and two disubstituted anthrylpolyamines of varying lengths, as well as a detailed investigation of their photophysical and photochemical properties in the presence of polyanions of biological interest. Depending on the nature of the polyanion, emission quenching of the anthracene chromophore occurs by a template-directed excimer formation, or by an energy-transfer process. A correlation between the charge of the protonated anthrylpolyamines and the degree of emission quenching is also investigated. This project is ideally suited for introducing students to different quenching mechanisms within the context of a research-oriented, integrated laboratory experience.  相似文献

The authors study concentration profiles of solutes undergoingequilibrium absorption in the vicinity of a water well. Forthe case of a contamination event, the limit problem of vanishingwell radius, which is of self-similar nature, is analysed indetail.
