Several p H-dependent processes and reactions take place in the human body;hence,the p H of body fluids is the best indicator of disturbed health conditions.However,accurate and real-time diagnosis of the p H of body fluids is complicated because of limited commercially available p H sensors.Hence,we aimed to prepare a flexible,transparent,disposable,userfriendly,and economic strip-based solid-state p H sensor using palladium nanoparticles(Pd NPs)/N-doped carbon(NC)composite material.The Pd NPs/NC composite material was synthesized using wool keratin(WK)as a precursor.The insitu prepared Pd NPs played a key role in the controlled switching of protein structure to the N-doped carbon skeleton withπ–πarrangement at the mesoscale level,which mimics the A–B type polymeric structure,and hence,is highly susceptible to H+ions.The optimized carbonization condition in the presence of Pd NPs showed that the material obtained using a modified Ag/Ag Cl reference electrode had the highest p H sensitivity with excellent stability and durability.The optimized p H sensor showed high specificity and selectivity with a sensitivity of 55 m V/p H unit and a relative standard deviation of 0.79%.This study is the first to synthesize Pd NPs using WK as a stabilizing and reducing agent.The applicability of the sensor was investigated for biological samples,namely,saliva and gastric juices.The proposed protocol and material have implications in solid-state chemistry,where biological material will be the best choice for the synthesis of materials with anticipated performance. 相似文献

An ultra-wideband metamaterial absorber is developed,which is polarized-insensitive and angular-stable.Three layers of square resistive films comprise the proposed metamaterial.The optimal values of geometric parameters are obtained,such that the designed absorber can achieve an ultra-broadband absorption response from 4.73 to 39.04 GHz(relative bandwidth of 156.7%)for both transverse electricity and transverse magnetic waves.Moreover,impedance matching theory and an equivalent circuit model are utilized for the absorption mechanism analysis.The compatibility of equivalent circuit calculation results,together with both full-wave simulation and experimental results,demonstrates the excellent performance and applicability of the proposed metamaterial absorber. 相似文献

Restricted testing conditions were considered recently. For the maximal operator, Hytönen, Li and Sawyer [8] first obtained parental testing condition. Later, they [9] showed that it suffices to restrict testing to doubling cubes. Chen and Lacey [3] gave a similar restricted testing condition. In our paper, we discuss a version of the latter in the multilinear setting.

With coal mining entering the geological environment of “high stress, rich gas, strong adsorption and low permeability,” the difficulty of joint coal and gas extraction clearly augments, the risk of solid–gas coupling dynamic disasters greatly increases, and the underlying mechanisms become more complex. In this paper, based on the characteristics of coal’s multi-scale structure and spatiotemporal variation, the multi-scale fractured coal gas–solid coupling model (MSFM) was built. In this model, the interaction between coal matrix and its fractures and the mechanical characteristics of gas-bearing coal were considered, as well as their coupling relationship. By MATLAB software, the stress–damage–seepage numerical computation programs were developed, which were applied into Comsol Multiphysics to simulate gas flow caused by coal mining. The simulation results showed the spatial variability of coal elastic modulus and cross-flow behaviors of coal seam gas, which were superior to the results of traditional gas–solid coupling model. And the numerical results obtained from MSFM were closer to the measured results in field, while the computation results of traditional model were slightly higher than the measured results. Sliced Latin hypercube designs are popularly adopted for computer experiments with qualitative factors. Previous constructions require the sizes of different slices to be identical. Here we construct sliced designs with flexible sizes of slices. Besides achieving desirable one-dimensional uniformity, flexible sliced designs (FSDs) constructed in this paper accommodate arbitrary sizes for different slices and cover ordinary sliced Latin hypercube designs as special cases. The sampling properties of FSDs are derived and a central limit theorem is established. It shows that any linear combination of the sample means from different models on slices follows an asymptotic normal distribution. Some simulations compare FSDs with other sliced designs in collective evaluations of multiple computer models. 相似文献

Sponges, Neofibularia nolitangere, can regenerate spontaneously after being broken down into small pieces, and the regenerated structure maintains the original appearance and function. Synthetic materials with such capabilities are highly desired but hardly achieved. Presented here is a sponge‐inspired self‐regenerative powder from a double‐network (DN) tough hydrogel. Hydrogels are regenerated from their powder form, by addition of water, with preservation of the original appearance and mechanical properties. The powder‐hydrogel‐powder cycle can be repeated multiple times with little loss in mechanical properties, analogous to the regeneration of sponges. These DN hydrogels can be conveniently stored and easily shaped upon regeneration. This work may have implications in the development of regenerative materials for coatings and adhesives. 相似文献

We have developed a versatile visible-light-driven cyanoalkylation of quinoxalinones under mild conditions. First, the cyanoalkyl radicals are generated from readily available cyclobutanone oxime esters under blue light irradiation. Then the generated radicals react with heterocycles such as quinoxalinones to give the final cyanoalkylation products. The protocol tolerates a wide range of functional groups.
