Mixed thin films of (CdO)1−x(PbO)x and (CdS)1−x(PbS)x (x=0.25) were prepared on glass substrates by spray pyrolysis technique for various substrate temperatures 300, 320 and 340 °C. Structural and optical properties were studied. XRD studies reveal the formation of mixed films. The substrate temperature of 340 °C seems to be critical for the formation of CdO-PbO mixed films. It is observed that (CdS)1−x(PbS)x mixed films were formed at all the three substrate temperatures. The direct band gap value of (CdO)1−x(PbO)x and (CdS)1−x(PbS)x mixed films is about 2.6 and 2.37 eV, respectively.  相似文献

The electrochemical synthesis and characterisation of poly(methyl vinylsilane) and a series of poly(methyl vinylsilane-co-metallocenes) network polymers are described in detail. This class of polymers are not accessible through Wurtz coupling reaction and are however prepared by electro-reduction of dichloro methyl vinylsilane in a non-aqueous system using aluminum electrodes in a single compartment cell. These polymers have been characterised using UV, FTIR, XRD, SEM and NMR spectral techniques. Cyclic voltammetric studies of the above polymers reveal their conducting behavior. These polymers show optical properties as explained from the results. Polymers of this type are proposed as potential soluble precursors for SiC and metal doped SiC materials.  相似文献

Electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of six new ethyne-based acridine derivatives (1-6) has been studied. The new acridine derivatives were synthesized by cross-coupling of 9-chloroacridine and corresponding donor-substituted phenylethynes under modified Sonogashira conditions. The donor groups were varied in the order of increasing steric hindrance and donor strength at the donor site. The solution phase photophysical properties and ECL of these compounds were studied comparatively in acetonitrile solvent. The UV-Visible spectra of compounds 1-5 exhibit closely the same maxima. Density functional theory (DFT) has been invoked to analyze and understand the unexpected UV-Visible absorption behavior. Compounds with weak electron donors produce excimer ECL irrespective of steric hindrance at the donor site, while the compound with a stronger donor gives rise to ECL that is blue-shifted with respect to its photoluminescence spectrum. All except one of these compounds also exhibit solid state fluorescence which may be useful for solid state devices such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) and as laser dyes. The observed properties are discussed with reference to the structure of the compounds synthesized.  相似文献

Zeolites have been successfully employed in many catalytic reactions of industrial relevance. The severe conditions required in some processes, where high temperatures are frequently combined with the presence of steam, highlight the need of considering the evolution of the catalyst structure during the reaction. Summary A simple sample decomposition and laser fluorimetric determination of uranium at trace level is reported in certain refractory minerals, like ilmenite, rutile, zircon and monazite; environmental samples viz. soil and sediments; industrial waste materials, such as, coal fly ash and red mud. Ilmenite sample is decomposed by heating with ammonium fluoride. Rutile, zircon and monazite minerals are decomposed by fusion using a mixture of potassium bifluoride and sodium fluoride. Environmental and industrial waste materials are brought into solution by treating with a mixture of hydrofluoric and nitric acids. The laser induced fluorimetric determination of uranium is carried out directly in rutile, zircon and in monazite minerals and after separation in other samples. The determination limit was 1 μg . g-1 for ilmenite, soil, sediment, coal fly ash and red mud samples, and it is 5 μg . g-1 for rutile, zircon and monazite. The method is also developed for the optical fluorimetric determination of uranium (determination limit 10 μg . g-1) in ilmenite, rutile, zircon and monazite minerals. The methods are simple, accurate, and precise and they require small quantity of sample and can be applied for the routine analysis.  相似文献

In this Letter, we report a rapid one-step entry into isoindoline and Δ1-pyrrolines from chalcone. The key step in the synthesis is the addition of glycine to chalcone. In acidic medium the reaction presumably goes through aza-Michael addition, whereas in basic medium the reaction proceeds through condensation followed by cyclization.  相似文献

The effectiveness of 1H?pyrazole?3,5?dicarboxylic acid 5?benzyl ester 3?phenyl ester (PCBPE) as a preventer for deterioration of IS 513 Gr. D steel in 1 M HCl medium is evaluated via weight loss, electrochemical impedance, and polarization techniques. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters assessed the feasibility of the adsorption process at diverse temperatures. The inhibition action on mild steel has been enhanced with increasing PCBPE concentration. It is found from the polarization studies that PCBPE behaves as mixed type inhibitor in HCl medium. The adsorption process of PCBPE on mild steel surface from acid environment is favoured Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The shielding efficiency of PCBPE has been enhanced at elevated concentrations, and it has been diminished at amplified temperatures. The Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), and Energy Dispersive Spectrum (EDS) were used to establish a surface characterization of metal specimens. A quantum chemical analysis of electron density distributions in the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) demonstrated how the inhibitor undergoes adsorption on mild steel in 1 M HCl. All experimental findings substantiate the corrosion mitigation performance of PCBPE on mild steel in acidic environments.  相似文献

In furtherance of our research on the design, synthesis and study of electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of new donor substituted phenylquinolinylethynes, we report here more new series with the aim of studying the effect of positional isomerism on their overall photophysical properties with a special focus on ECL. For this study we have chosen 2-, 3-, and 4-(p-substituted phenyl)ethynylquinolines, and 1- and 4-(p-substituted phenyl)ethynylisoquinolines. These ethynes were synthesized in good yields by modified Sonogashira coupling of the corresponding terminal alkyne with the respective haloquinolines. The photophysical properties and ECL were studied in acetonitrile solvent and the various results are discussed.  相似文献
