In this work, we report on the design, growth and characterization of GaAsN/AlAs/AlGaAs double barrier quantum well infrared detectors to achieve intraband absorption below 4 μm. Due to the high effective mass of N-dilute alloys, it is common for these N-containing double barrier quantum well structures to have more than one bound state within the quantum well, enabling the possibility of achieving multispectral absorption from these confined levels to the quasi-bound. Based on a transfer matrix calculation we will study the influence of the potential parameters, in particular the well width and the introduction of a GaAs spacer layer in between the N-well and the AlAs barriers. We will compare the case in which there are two confined levels with the case in which only one level is bound, like in the conventional AlGaAs/AlAs/GaAs structures. On the basis of the simulation, we have grown and characterized some N-containing double barrier detectors. Moreover, an optimization of the post-growth annealing treatments of the GaAsN quantum well structures has also been performed. Finally, room temperature absorption measurements of both as-grown and annealed samples are presented and analyzed.  相似文献

The vapor-phase catalytic alkylation of phenol with methanol and dimethyl carbonate on a series of differently prepared CrPO4 (Cr/P=1) and CrPO4-AlPO4 (CrAIP) catalysts, has been studied at different temperatures (473–673 K). The reaction is first order in phenol, giving a mixture of O- and C-alkylated products (C-alkylation taking place preferentially at theortho-position). Moreover, dimethyl carbonate is a better methylating agent than methanol.  相似文献

Reactions of cyclopentadiene with several chiral acrylates are studied and compared with the same reactions catalysed by Zn(II)-exchanged K10 montmorillonite. In general, amorphous AlPO4 is a more efficient catalyst than the clay. In particular, the reaction of cyclopentadiene with (−)-8-phenylmenthyl acrylate leads to 74% diastereomeric excess (d.e.) in methylene chloride at low temperatures. This result constitutes the highest asymmetric induction described to date for a solid-catalysed asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction. When the reactions are carried out in the absence of a solvent a noticeable decrease in selectivity is observed, probably due to an extensive competition of the non-catalysed reaction.  相似文献

Electron donor and acceptor properties of AlPO4 and AlPO4–SiO2 (2080 wt. %) supported rhodium catalysts have been studied. It was observed that the effect of metal deposition on both electron acceptor and donor properties depend on the support and precipitation agent. AlPO4 supported rhodium showed better acoeptor than donor properties, while for Rh/AlPO4–SiO2, the acceptor properties were superior. However, the effect of metal on the redox properties is slight.

The effects of surface dehydration on textural properties, crystallinity and the structure of AlPO4–ZrO2 (weight ratio AlPO4/ZrO2=3) systems precipitated with ethylene oxide have been studied by N2 adsorption and XRD measurements. The increase in calcination temperature in the range 773–1273 K decreases the textural parameters as a consequence of AlPO4 crystallization to the tridymite form.

In the present work, the nonisothermal imbibition process in a porous medium was numerically analyzed using a non-Darcian model for the momentum equation and energy equations for the wetting and dry zones. In order to show the thermal character of the problem, we assume initially that the porous medium is found at a uniform temperature T0 and suddenly begins the imbibition process into the porous medium with a penetrating fluid at temperature T1. The physical influence of nondimensional parameters such as Peclet number, Pe, effective heat capacity number, beta(w), porous Reynolds number, Re(p), and the inertial coefficient of the porous medium, F, serve us to evaluate the position and velocity of the imbibition front as well as temperature profiles in both zones. In particular, for values of Re(p)F/beta(w)>1, we recover a type of nonisothermal Washburn law. The numerical predictions show that the imbibition front and the temperature fields strongly depend on the above nondimensional parameters, revealing a clear deviation of the simple Washburn law.  相似文献

In this work, the coupling between flow analysis (FA)–vapor phase generation (VPG) and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR) has been proposed as a novel and alternative strategy for the determination of nitrite. The analyte was transformed into the gaseous nitric oxide (NO) by on-line reaction with potassium iodide (KI) or ascorbic acid in acidic medium. The gaseous NO generated was transported by means of a N2 gas carrier stream inside the IR gas cell and the corresponding FTIR spectrum was acquired in a continuous mode. The absorbance at 1876 cm−1, corrected by a baseline established between 1879 and 1872 cm−1 at a nominal resolution of 2 cm−1, was selected as a measurement criterion. The effect of different spectroscopic and flow analysis experimental parameters, such as nominal resolution, number of scans, reducing agent and its concentration, acidic medium, reagents and sample flow rates, and the carrier gas flow rate on the analytical signal, and then in the figures of merit were initially evaluated by using a standard short path length (10 cm) IR gas cell. The optimization of the system was carried out by the univariate method. The main aims of this study were: (i) to investigate the on-line generation of gaseous nitric oxide in a continuous flow system, and (ii) the use of Fourier transform infrared spectrometry as an alternative and selective detector for the determination of nitrite. The proposed method was initially tested and applied for the determination of nitrite in samples with very high concentration of nitrite, such as frankfurters.  相似文献
