Algorithm for nonlinear digital filtering of harmonic filling of phase-shift keyed signals

In this work, we propose a method for nonlinear digital filtering of phase-shift keyed signals with different carrier frequencies on the basis of separating the phase discontinuities of the input signals. The method allows one to avoid compensation for unknown frequency shift in the problems of determining the time delay of signals in the case of multichannel propagation. The efficiency of the proposed method is shown for the signals which are short informative packages with the phase-shift keying against the noise background in the presence of the Doppler effect. __________ Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Radiofizika, Vol. 49, No. 8, pp. 704–711, August 2006.     

On the Bol Loops

In the present paper, the Bol loops and related groups are studied. We suggest a universal way to construct a Bol loop and find criteria for simplicity and finiteness of such loops.     

Polyparaxylylene-CdS nanocomposite films: Optical spectra, photoluminescence, and surface topography

For polyparaxylylene-CdS nanocomposite films prepared by solid-phase cryochemical synthesis, the dependences of the optical absorption spectra, photoluminescence intensity, and surface topography on the CdS concentration were examined. It was revealed that the most significant changes, such as the shift of the position of the exciton absorption band by ～1 eV and the increase of the surface roughness (the magnitude of variation of heights h _max ? h _min along a surface profile) occur within a CdS concentration range of from ～5 to ～8 vol %. The average size of the nanoparticles was determined from the position of the exciton absorption maximum: 2R _np ? ? 3 nm at c ≤ 5 vol % and 2R _np ≥ 5?7 nm at c ≥ 10 vol %. The formation of 3-nm particles at low CdS concentrations was confirmed by the existence of exciton photoluminescence with maximum at 370 nm. Exciton luminescence was not observed at c ≥ 10 vol %. By contrast, at all c values, photoluminescence with maxima at ～520 and ～570 nm, which is usually assigned to interstitial S and Cd atoms, correspondingly, and a the weak emission of unknown nature with a maximum at 545 nm were observed.     

Synthesis of cationic complexes [(C<Subscript>4</Subscript>Me<Subscript>4</Subscript>)CoL]<Superscript>+</Superscript> (L is naphthalene,phenanthrene, and anthracene)

Cationic arene complexes [Cb*Co(naphthalene)]⁺ (2, Cb* = C₄Me₄) and [Cb*Co(phenanthrene)]⁺ were synthesized by the reactions of [Cb*Co(MeCN)₃]⁺ with arenes. The [Cb*Co(anthracene)]⁺ complex was synthesized by the abstraction of the iodide ion from [Cb*CoI]₂ by TIBF₄ in the presence of anthracene. Complex 2 exchanges the naphthalene ligand for other arenes at room temperature. Dedicated to Academician G. A. Abakumov on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Iron and ruthenium triple-decker complexes with a central pentaphospholyl ligand

Thirty-electron triple-decker complexes with a central pentaphospholyl ligand [(η-C₅Me₅)Fe(μ-η:η-P₅)M(η-C₅R₅)]BF₄ (M=Fe, R=Me or M=Ru, R=H, Me) were synthesized by a stacking reaction of cationic 12-electron fragments [(η-C₅R₅)M]⁺ with (η-C₅Me₅)Fe(η-P₅). Synthesis and some properties of acrylic and methacrylic derivatives of chlorophos and its analogs
