It remains a big challenge to remarkably improve both oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activity and long‐term durability of Pt?M bimetal electrocatalysts simultaneously in the harsh cathode environment toward widespread commercialization of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFC). In this account we found double‐promotional effects of carbon micro coil (CMC) support on ORR performance and durability of octahedral Pt3Ni nanoparticles (Oh Pt3Ni/CMC). The Oh Pt3Ni/CMC displayed remarkable improvements of mass activity (MA; 13.6 and 34.1 times) and surface specific activity (SA; 31.3 and 37.0 times) compared to those of benchmark Pt/C (TEC10E20E) and Pt/C (TEC10E50E‐HT), respectively. Notably, the Oh Pt3Ni/CMC revealed a negligible MA loss after 50,000 triangular‐wave 1.0–1.5 VRHE (startup/shutdown) load cycles, contrasted to MA losses of 40 % (TEC10E20E) and 21.5 % (TEC10E50E‐HT) by only 10,000 load cycles. It was also found that the SA increased exponentially with the decrease in the CO stripping peak potential in a series of Pt?M/carbon (M: Ni and Co), which predicts a maximum SA at the curve asymptote. Key factors for simultaneous improvements of performance and durability of core‐shell Pt3Ni/carbon electrocatalysts toward superior PEFC is also discussed.  相似文献

In order to find out whether the geomagnetic storms and large-mega earthquakes are correlated or not, statistical studies based on Superposed Epoch Analysis (SEA), significance analysis, and Z test have been applied to the Dst index data and M ≥ 7.0 global earthquakes during 1957–2020. The results indicate that before M ≥ 7.0 global earthquakes, there are clearly higher probabilities of geomagnetic storms than after them. Geomagnetic storms are more likely to be related with shallow earthquakes rather than deep ones. Further statistical investigations of the results based on cumulative storm hours show consistency with those based on storm days, suggesting that the high probability of geomagnetic storms prior to large-mega earthquakes is significant and robust. Some possible mechanisms such as a reverse piezoelectric effect and/or electroosmotic flow are discussed to explain the statistical correlation. The result might open new perspectives in the complex process of earthquakes and the Lithosphere-Atmosphere-Ionosphere (LAI) coupling.  相似文献

We studied the stepwise formation constants (β) of water-soluble diglycolamide (DGA) and dioxaoctanediamide (DOODA) for the mutual separation of Ln in a solvent extraction system. TODGA (N,N,N?,N?-tetraoctyl-diglycolamide) and DOODA(C8) (N,N,N?,N?-tetraoctyl-dioxaoctanediamide) exhibit opposite behaviors in extracting both light and heavy Ln through Ln-patterns. Metal complexes of two- and three-folding with water-soluble DOODA and DGA, respectively, were found, and each β value was calculated using distribution ratios. Taking β, their distribution ratio, D, and separation factor, SF, values into consideration, the suitable separation conditions (aqueous phase: 30 mM DOODA(C2) in 1 M HNO3; organic phase: 0.1 M TODGA in n-dodecane) of multistage extraction (10?×?10 extraction using aqueous and organic phases, including one sample solution) were determined. In this study, La, Pr, and Nd were mainly present in the aqueous phase, whereas Sm–Dy existed in the organic phase. Although these two groups can be easily separated into two phases, the resolution, Rs, values provide for little mutual separation between La–Nd and Sm–Dy under the present conditions.

Upon the entrance of a high-speed train into a relatively long train tunnel, compression waves are generated in front of the train. These compression waves subsequently coalesce into a weak shock wave so that a unpleasant sonic boom is emitted from the tunnel exit. In order to investigate the generation of the weak shock wave in train tunnels and the emission of the resulting sonic boom from the train tunnel exit and to search for methods for the reduction of these sonic booms, a 1300 scaled train tunnel simulator was constructed and simulation experiments were carried out using this facility.In the train tunnel simulator, an 18 mm dia. and 200 mm long plastic piston moves along a 40 mm dia. and 25 m long test section with speed ranging from 60 to 100 m/s. The tunnel simulator was tilted 8° to the floor so that the attenuation of the piston speed was not more than 10 % of its entrance speed. Pressure measurements along the tunnel simulator and holographic interferometric optical flow visualization of weak shock waves in the tunnel simulator clearly showed that compression waves, with propagation, coalesced into a weak shock wave. Although, for reduction of the sonic boom in prototype train tunnels, the installation of a hood at the entrance of the tunnels was known to be useful for their suppression, this effect was confirmed in the present experiment and found to be effective particularly for low piston speeds. The installation of a partially perforated wall at the exit of the tunnel simulator was found to smear pressure gradients at the shock. This effect is significant for higher piston speeds. Throughout the series of train tunnel simulator experiments, the combination of both the entrance hood and the perforated wall significantly reduces shock overpressures for piston speeds ofu p ranging from 60 to 100 m/s. These experimental findings were then applied to a real train tunnel and good agreement was obtained between the tunnel simulator result and the real tunnel measurements.  相似文献

Characteristic solution properties of lecithin were studied in 1) water+propanol/lecithin/hexadecane and 2) ethanol/lecithin/ hexadecane systems. 1) Solvent property of water changes by added alcohol and the hydrophile-lipophile property of lecithin is balanced in 13 wt% propanol aq.-hexadecane system. Three liquid phases, i.e. aqueous alcohol, lecithin and hexadecane are found. The volume fraction of the lecithin phase increases with its concentration and at 2.3 wt%/system, all solvent molecules are swelled and one microemulsion phase is obtained. 2) In ethanol/ lecithin/hexadecane system, lecithin is also insoluble in the solvent, and swells a large amount of hexadecane.  相似文献
