The local vibrational spectra of copper crystals containing vacancies are calculated using the pair atomic potential derived in the framework of the resonance pseudopotential theory. Swelling (and shrinking) of poly(2-vinylpyridine), P2VP, polymer brushes, caused by pH changes, could be readily monitored by transmission surface plasmon resonance, T-SPR, spectroscopy. Gold nanoparticles attached to the P2VP polymer brushes dramatically enhanced the pH-induced shift in the T-SPR absorption spectra. (A 50 nm shift of the absorption maximum of the T-SPR spectrum of the supporting gold nanoislands was observed upon changing the pH from 5.0 to 2.0, corresponding to a swelling of the polymer brushes from 8.1 +/- 0.7 to 24.0 +/- 2.0 nm. Functionalization of silver and gold nanoparticles by 12mer-thiolated homo-oligonucleotides, SA and ST (containing only adenine or thymine, respectively), and their hybridization and dehybridization in aqueous dispersions have been described. In addition, ST and SA were self-assembled onto gold films and hybridized with their complementary pairs, unlabeled or labeled by gold and silver nanoparticles. The characteristics,performance and application of membrane electrode based on ion associate of diclofenac with base dye Safranine T are described.The electrode response to diclofenac has the sensitivity of 47±1.0 mV decade~(-1)over the range of 5×10~(-5)to 5×10~(-2)mol/L at pH 6-12,and the detection limit of 3.2×10~(-5)mol/L.The electrode is easy assembled at a relatively low cost has fast response time(2-4 s)and can be used for a period up to 3.5 months without any considerable divergence in potential.The proposed sensor displayed good selectivity for diclofenac in the presence of different substances.It was used to determine diclofenac in pharmaceuticals by means of the standard addition method. 相似文献

Oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is one of the most technologically relevant reactions. It occurs at the interface of the electrocatalyst and electrolyte, where oxygen reacts with protons and electrons to produce water. Because the electrocatalyst is dispersed on a high surface area support, morphological confinement becomes critical, as it dictates proton and oxygen transport. Furthermore, confinement is induced by ionomer, ionic liquids (ILs), or molecular additives, and their impact on electrocatalyst reactivity and transport properties is currently not well understood. AbstractThe synthesis and anticancer activity evaluation of new thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid amides is described. The structures of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by spectroscopic data and a single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis for 2.4. The synthesized compounds were screened for their in vitro anticancer activity according to US NCI protocols. The most active 7-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-oxo-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid (4-chlorophenyl)amide 2.2 and 7-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxo-2,3-dihydrothiazolo[4,5-b]pyridine-5-carboxylic acid (4-chlorophenyl)amide 2.5 were screened for their cytotoxicity effects on C6 Rat glioma cells and U373 Human glioblastoma astrocytoma cells which revealed promising results comparable to temozolamide as reference control according MTT assay data. 相似文献
