Physicochemical properties and catalytic performance of detonation nanodiamonds were studied. Original samples of nanodiamonds and nanodiamonds modified by hydrogen, oxygen, and nitric acid with hydrogen peroxide and infrared-treated were investigated. The catalyst structure and morphology were examined by transmission electron microscopy and IR spectroscopy. All the investigated catalysts were active in the steam reforming of ethanol. The correlation of catalytic properties with composition and structure of the described systems is discussed. The expression of E-cadherin has been investigated by the immunohistochemical method. The expression of E-cadherin is considered as a biomarker of junctions of intercellular adhesion in tissues samples with cervical intraepithelial neoplasias. The quantitative avidin-biotin-peroxidase method was used to estimate the expression. Precancer lesions, i.e., cervical intraepithelial neoplasias, CIN 1, 2, 3, precede invasive cancer of the cervix uteri by several years, the prognosis of which is variable in terms of regression and progression into invasive cancer. The expression of E-cadherin has been analyzed in cervical tissues of patients with various grades of CIN and microinvasive cancer (81 samples), as well as patients without CIN (ten samples). The sharp, statistically significant decrease in the expression of E-cadherin in CIN3 has been recorded compared to CIN1, CIN2, and the normal epithelium. It is reasonable to use this marker to assess the grade of the lesion and develop an individual prognosis of CIN progression. The data present a new way to construct pharmaceuticals based on compounds that influence E-cadherin expression. 相似文献

The results of an experimental investigation of the deformation behavior of rubbery amorphous polymers (polybutadiene SKD) at low strain rates and large deformation times are described. It is shown for the first time by a viscometric method that the process of strain development in rubbery polymers has a stepwise character. Complex phosphates of titanium, chromium, and metals(2+) of the general formula M0.5(1 + x )Cr x Ti2 ? x (PO4)3 (M = Mg, Ca, Mn, Ni, Sr, Ba, and Pb) were synthesized. Their phase formation was studied by means of X-ray powder diffraction, electron probe microanalysis, differential thermal analysis, and IR spectroscopy. Individual phases and solid solutions crystallizing in kosnarite and langbeinite structure types were identified; their crystallographic parameters were calculated.
