Here, we demonstrate the applicability of self-assembling linear-dendritic block copolymers (LDBCs) and their nanoaggregates possessing varied surfaces as therapeutic nanocarriers. These LDBCs are comprised of a hydrophobic, linear polyester chemically coupled to a hydrophilic dendron polyamidoamine (PAMAM)—the latter of which acts as the surface of the self-assembled nanoaggregate in aqueous media. To better understand how surface charge density affects the overall operability of these nanomaterials, we modified the nanoaggregate surface to yield cationic (NH3+), neutral (OH), and anionic (COO) surfaces. The effect of these modifications on the physicochemical properties (i.e., size, morphology, and surface charge density), colloidal stability, and cellular uptake mechanism of the polymeric nanocarrier were investigated. This comparative study demonstrates the viability of nanoaggregates formed from PDLLA-PAMAM LDBCs to serve as nanocarriers for applications in drug delivery.  相似文献

Crystallization‐induced diastereoselective transformation (CIDT) of an α‐methyl nitrile completes an entirely non‐chromatographic synthesis of the halichondrin B C14–C26 stereochemical array. The requisite α‐methyl nitrile substrate is derived from D ‐quinic acid through a series of substrate‐controlled stereoselective reactions via a number of crystalline intermediates that benefit from a rigid polycyclic template. Therefore, all four stereogenic centers in the Halaven C14–C26 fragment were derived from the single chiral source D ‐quinic acid.  相似文献

Renteln proved that the eigenvalues of the distance matrix of a Cayley graph of a real reflection group with respect to the set of all reflections are integral and provided a combinatorial formula for some such spectra. We prove the eigenvalues of the distance, adjacency, and codimension matrices of Cayley graphs of complex reflection groups with connection sets consisting of all reflections are integral and provide a combinatorial formula for the codimension spectra for a family of monomial complex reflection groups.  相似文献

Thickness mapping in aging structures suffering from corrosion is challenging especially when the structure is only partially accessible. In plates the high order shear horizontal guided wave modes all have a cutoff frequency thickness product below which they cannot propagate. This property is potentially attractive to estimate the minimum remnant thickness between two transducers. When using a source and a sensor array it is possible to control the number of modes being excited and the size of the region interrogated by the technique. Finite element simulations were used to show that by exciting multiple guided wave modes simultaneously and identifying which modes are received by a sensor array it is possible to estimate the minimum remaining thickness along the propagation path. Initial experimental results showed excellent agreement with the finite element simulations when the plate is uniform and with a thickness reduction between the source and the sensor arrays the minimum remnant thickness was underestimated by approximately 20%.  相似文献

Immobilized biocatalytic lithography is presented as an application of soft lithography. In traditional microcontact printing, diffusion limits resolution of pattern transfer. By using an immobilized catalyst, the lateral resolution of microcontact printing would depend only on the length and flexibility of the tether (<2 nm) as opposed to diffusion (>100 nm). Pairs of 10 ps ruby laser pulses were sent into a solution of oxazine 1 perchlorate in glycerine. Relative amplication of the second pulse was observed when the time interval between the two pulses was longer than the solvent-solute relaxation time but shorter that the fluorescence time. We report a simple, reliable high-throughput method for patterning passivated silicon with reactive organic monolayers and demonstrate selective functionalization of the patterned substrates with both small molecules and proteins. The approach completely protects silicon from chemical oxidation, provides precise control over the shape and size of the patterned features in the 100 nm domain, and gives rapid, ready access to chemically discriminated patterns that can be further functionalized with both organic and biological molecules.  相似文献
