For this analytical TEM study, nonmagnetic oxygen-rich boundaries were introduced into Co-Pt-alloy perpendicular recording media by cosputtering Co and Pt with TiO2. Increasing the TiO2 content resulted in changes to the microstructure and elemental distribution within grains and boundaries in these films. EFTEM imaging was used to generate composition maps spanning many tens of grains, thereby giving an overall depiction of the changes in elemental distribution occurring with increasing TiO2 content. Comparing EFTEM with spectrum-imaging maps created by high-resolution STEM with EDXS and EELS enabled both corroboration of EFTEM results and quantification of the chemical composition within individual grain boundary areas. The difficulty of interpreting data from EDXS for these extremely thin films is discussed. Increasing the TiO2 content of the media was found to create more uniformly wide Ti- and O-rich grain boundaries as well as Ti- and O-rich regions within grains.  相似文献

A novel dimeric eremophilane, ligulolide B, was isolated from the alcoholic extract of the whole plant of Ligularia virgaurea spp. oligocephala. The structure was elucidated by various spectroscopic methods including intensive 2D NMR techniques (^1H-^1H COSY, gHMQC, gHMBC and ^1H-^1H NOESY) and HR-ESI-MS.  相似文献

For solvolyses of 2-propyl and cyclopentyl sulfonates, logarithms of alpha-deuterium kinetic isotope effects (alpha-KIE) correlate linearly with logarithms of nucleophilic solvent assistance (NSA); correlations have the same slopes, but different intercepts, consistent with both solvent and structural effects on alpha-KIEs for heterolysis, further supported by recent theoretical and experimental data. It is argued that alpha- and beta-KIEs cannot yet distinguish between mechanisms proceeding via one or more transition states of similar energies. Structural, solvent, and isotope effects can be rationalized by heterolysis accompanied by NSA.  相似文献

Based on results of electron diffraction, gas phase infrared spectroscopy (IR), and MP2/6-31 + G* ab initio calculations, a set of molecular mechanics (MM3) parameters was developed for molecules containing the N(sp3)—O(sp3) moiety. An analogue of Kattov's theorem on the equality between the dimension of a Tychonov space and the analytic dimension of its ring of bounded real-valued continuous maps is established for proximity spaces and proximally continuous maps by an internal method of proof. This paper presents a method for programming the flow rate of liquids inside open microfluidic networks (MFNs). A MFN comprises a number of independent flow paths, each of which starts with an open filling port, has a sealed microchannel in which assays can be performed, and an open capillary pump (CP). The MFN is placed over Peltier elements and its flow paths initially fill owing to capillary forces when liquids are added to the filling ports. A cooling Peltier element underneath the filling ports dynamically prevents evaporation in all filling ports using the ambient temperature and relative humidity as inputs. Another Peltier element underneath the CPs heats the pumps thereby inducing evaporation in the CPs and setting the flow rate in the microchannels. This method achieves flow rates in the microchannels ranging from approximately 1.2 nL s(-1) to approximately 30 pL s(-1), and is able to keep 90% of a 0.6 microL solution placed in an open filling port for 60 min. This simple and efficient method should be applicable to numerous assays or chemical reactions that require small and precise flow of liquids and reagents inside microfluidics.  相似文献

We describe a concise and convergent synthesis of (rac)-5-methoxy-6-azatricyclco[7.3.1.0(2,7)]trideca-2(7),3,5,11-tetraen-13-ol, which has the basic ring system of huperzine A, a potent inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase. We also describe the synthesis of the novel system 5-methoxy-6-azatricyclo[7.2.2.0(2,7)]trideca-2(7),3,5-trien-10-one and a series of related systems.  相似文献
