We give a sufficient condition for a local radial Phragmén-Lindelöf principle on analytic varieties. This condition is expressed in terms of existence of hyperbolic directions.

We report here about measurements of reaction and decay Q values by precise determination of pairs of atomic masses. These were performed with the Penning trap mass spectrometer SMILETRAP. Measurements with Penning traps give reliable and accurate masses, in particular Q values, due to the fact that certain systematic errors to a great deal cancel in the mass difference between the two atoms defining the Q value. Some Q values that are of fundamental interest will be discussed here, for example, a new Q value for the 6Li (n,γ) 7Li reaction, for the β-decay of tritium, related to properties of the electron neutrino mass, and for the neutrino-less double β-decay of 76Ge, related to the question of whether the neutrino is a Majorana particle or not. In case of the latter two we report the most accurate Q values, namely 18,589.8(12) eV for the tritium decay and 2,038.997(46) keV for the neutrino-less double β-decay of 76Ge.  相似文献

Banach algebras of certain bounded operators acting on the half-spaceL p (R + n+1 ,x 0 ) (1<p<, –1<<p–1) are defined which contain for example Wiener-Hopf operators, defined by multidimensional singular convolution integral operators, as well as certain singular integral operators with fixed singularities. Moreover the symbol may be a positive homogeneous function only piecewise continuous on the unit sphere. Actually these multidimensional singular integral operators may be not Calderón-Zygmund operators but are built up by those in lower dimensions. This paper is a continuation of a joint paper of the author together with R.V. Duduchava [10]. The purpose is to investigate invertibility or Fredholm properties of these operators, while the continuity is given by definition. This is done in [10] forp=2 and –1<<1, and in the present paper forL p (R + n+1 ,x 0 ) with 1<p< and –1<<p–1.  相似文献

Concerning the conventional TEM-imaging as well as the analytical procedures the capabilities are pointed out: electron diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS) and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). The possibilities of investigation of both nanocrystalline materials and multilayers are discussed, accompanied by examples of current investigations: At alloys, produced by intense milling, at single nanocrystals the imaging by diffraction contrast was successful, the analysis has failed because of the sample thickness. By means of energy spectroscopic imaging multilayers from Fe-SiB/NbCu and Fe/Cr as well as Al2O3/TiN have been characterized. Activation of CO2 at Transition Metal Centres: The Route of the CO2 Reduction at Nikel(0) Moieties A competing reaction in the catalytic cyclooligomerization of hex-3-yne and CO2 at the (TMED)Ni(0)-fragment (TMED = N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylethylendiamine) is the formation of carbon monoxide and (TMED)Ni(CO3). So it is possible to explain the generation of II (TMED)Ni(diethylmalicacidanhydride) and III (a nickel trimer with two (TMED)Ni(CO3) units). Both complexes are characterized by X-ray analysis. The reduction of CO2 to CO most likely proceeds via an intermediate in which two molecules of carbon dioxide are coupled head-to-tail to form a metallacycle. An ab initio scf geometry optimization supports the existence of such an intermediate.  相似文献

Electron impact fragmentation patterns were obtained for perfluoroalkylether nitriles, C,F,O[CF(CF3)CFIO]ICF(CF3)CN (x = 1 and 2), perfluoroalkylether acyl halides, CSF,OCF(CF,)-CF2OCF(CF3)COX (X = F and Cl), n-perfluorooctanonitrile and n-perfiuorooctanoyl chloride. The perfluoroalkyl and perfluoroalkylether nitriles afforded ions characteristic of the nitrile function. The major fragment from the acyl chlorides was the [COClJ]+ ion; the presence of chlorine was evidenced also by rearrangement ions of the general form [RfCl] t. The perfluoroalkylether compounds appeared to undergo a typical fragmentation governed by the cleavage of the carbon-oxygen bond.  相似文献

Sila-analoguesA 2 andB 2 of two drugs from the benzhydryl ether class, chlorphenoxamine and clofenetamine, were synthesized for the first time by the steps shown in scheme 1. They and their precursors I–VI were characterized by their physical (Table 1) and chemical properties and their structures confirmed by n.m.r., mass and infrared spectrocopy (Tables 2–5). Their physiological effects were investigated and compared with those of the carbon analogues (Chapter 5).

Nitration of tyrosine residues in proteins may occur in cells upon oxidative stress and inflammation processes mediated through generation of reactive nitroxyl from peroxynitrite. Tyrosine nitration from oxidative pathways may generate cytotoxic species that cause protein dysfunction and pathogenesis. A number of protein nitrations in vivo have been reported and some specific Tyrosine nitration sites have been recently identified using mass spectrometric methods. High-resolution Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (MALDI) FT-ICR-MS) is shown here to be a highly efficient method in the determination of protein nitrations. Following the identification of nitration of the catalytic site Tyr-430 residue of bovine prostacyclin synthase, we synthesised several model peptides containing both unmodified tyrosine and 3-nitro-tyrosine residues, using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). The structures of the nitrotyrosine peptides were characterised both by ESI- and by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionisation (MALDI)-FT-ICR-MS, using a standard ultraviolet (UV) nitrogen nitrogen laser and a 2.97 microm Nd-YAG infrared laser. Using UV-MALDI-MS, 3-nitrotyrosyl-peptides were found to undergo extensive photochemical fragmentation at the nitrophenyl group, which may hamper or prevent the unequivocal identification of Tyr-nitrations in cellular proteins. In contrast, infrared-MALDI-FT-ICR-MS did not produce fragmentation of molecular ions of Tyr-nitrated peptides.  相似文献
