Glutathione (GSH-reduced form) is a tripeptide that plays a vital role as an antioxidant to remove xenobiotics in the human body and changes in GSH levels are a marker for the progression of various diseases. In this context, a highly sensitive non-enzymatic electrochemical biosensor for the detection of GSH has been developed using reduced graphene oxide Manganese oxide (rGMnO) nanocomposite as the nano-interface. Initially, graphene oxide was synthesized by Hummer's method and then thermally reduced in the presence of MnO2 in a blast furnace to obtain rGMnO nanocomposite. The nanocomposite was characterized to validate its structure and morphological properties via Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Cyclic voltammetry and amperometry studies showed that upon the addition of GSH, the Pt/rGMnO modified working electrode exhibited a linear response in the range of 1–100 μM at an input voltage of −0.62 V. The developed sensor was found to have a sensitivity of 0.3256 μA μM−1 and LOD of 970 nM with a recovery of 92–104 % in real blood serum samples.  相似文献

The synthesis of morphology-controlled carbon-coated nanostructured LiFePO4 (LFP/Carbon) cathode materials by surfactant-assisted hydrothermal method using block copolymers is reported. The resulting nanocrystalline high surface area materials were coated with carbon and designated as LFP/C123 and LFP/C311. All the materials were systematically characterized by various analytical, spectroscopic and imaging techniques. The reverse structure of the surfactant Pluronic® 31R1 (PPO-PEO-PPO) in comparison to Pluronic® P123 (PEO-PPO-PEO) played a vital role in controlling the particle size and morphology which in turn ameliorate the electrochemical performance in terms of reversible specific capacity (163 mAh g−1 and 140 mAh g−1 at 0.1 C for LFP/C311 and LFP/C123, respectively). In addition, LFP/C311 demonstrated excellent electrochemical performance including lower charge transfer resistance (146.3 Ω) and excellent cycling stability (95 % capacity retention at 1 C after 100 cycles) and high rate capability (163.2 mAh g−1 at 0.1 C; 147.1 mAh g−1 at 1 C). The better performance of the former is attributed to LFP nanoparticles (<50 nm) with a specific spindle-shaped morphology. Further, we have also evaluated the electrode performance with the use of both PVDF and CMC binders employed for the electrode fabrication.  相似文献

Nanostructured ZnO thin films were coated on glass substrate by spray pyrolysis using Zinc acetate dihydrate as precursor. Effect of precursor concentration on structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of the films was investigated. The crystal structure and orientation of the ZnO thin films prepared with four different precursor solution concentrations were studied and it was observed that, the prepared films are polycrystalline in nature with hexagonal wurzite structure. The peaks are indexed to (100), (002), (101), (102) and (110) planes. Grain size and texture coefficient (TC) were calculated and the grain size found to increase with an increase in precursor concentration. Presence of Zn and O elements was confirmed with EDAX spectra. Optical absorption measurements were carried out in the wavelength region of 380 to 800 nm and the band gap decreases as precursor concentration increases. The current‐voltage characteristics were observed at room temperature and in dark. It was found that for the films deposited at four different precursor concentrations, the conductivity improves as precursor concentration increases. As trimethyl amine TMA is a good marker for food quality discrimination, sensing behavior of the films at an optimized operating temperature of 373 K, towards various concentrations of (TMA) was observed and reported.
