The objectives of this study were to evaluate the mobility of heavy metals (HMs) in two types of soils (acidic forest soil and neutral agricultural soil) by leaching with calcium chloride solution in column experiments. The screening properties of neutral agricultural soil towards pollution by heavy metals (Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd) are approximately 10 times higher than those of acid forest soil. The neutral agricultural soil, polluted artificially by one pore volume (PV) of an HMs solution of concentration 200 mg L?1, can screen the leaching of these metals over several hundreds of years. The higher apparent desorption rate and per cent desorption of HMs (especially Cd) in acid forest soil indicated a higher potential of intensive migration of the metals across the profile and indicated potential risk of Cd pollution for this type of soil. The latest approach of artificial neural networks to describe transport of HMs in soil has been also evaluated. Using a simple three-layer perceptron topology with three hidden neurons, the experimental data could be simulated. The results suggested that the pH of soil is a major factor controlling the retention of the heavy metals in the soils.  相似文献

The reviews cover important critical parameters that are often optimized in a supported liquid membrane extraction technique in both flat sheet and hollow fibre designs for ionizable organic molecules. Understanding of these parameters can enable one to predict the behavior of the compound before hand and thus reduce the number of optimization experiments. Moreover, less number of experiments can be also generated using statistical techniques which are now becoming more commonly used. Supported liquid membrane extraction optimal parameters such as the conditions of the pH of the acceptor and donor phases should easily be fixed from the pKa values of the compounds. Other parameters, including the polarity of the compound can help to predict the partitioning into the membrane and the behavior of the compound. The influence of parameters such as temperature on the mass transfer in supported liquid membrane depends on the design of the module, experimental design and type of mass transfer controlling the extraction process.  相似文献

The sodium salt of heptakis(2-O-sulfo-3-O-methyl-6-O-acetyl)cyclomaltoheptaose (HAMS), the first single-isomer sulfated β-CD that carries the sulfo group exclusively at the C2 position, has been synthesized. The purity of each synthetic intermediate and of the final product was determined by hydrophilic interaction (HILIC) and reversed-phase HPLC. The structural identity of each intermediate and of the final product was verified by 1-D and 2-D NMR spectroscopy and MALDI-TOF MS. HAMS was used for the capillary electrophoretic separation of the enantiomers of a set of non-ionic and weak base analytes in pH 2.5 background electrolytes. Rapid separations with satisfactory peak resolution values were obtained for most enantiomers using low concentrations of HAMS. The effective mobilities and separation selectivities were dependent on the concentration of HAMS according to the predictions of the charged resolving agent migration model. The separation selectivities observed with HAMS, heptakis(2-O-methyl-3-O-acetyl-6-O-sulfo)cyclomaltoheptaose and heptakis(2-O-methyl-3,6-di-O-sulfo)cyclomaltoheptaose were different for some of the analytes studied in detail.  相似文献

The potential of combination of liquid membranes (microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction) and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) was performed using 17β‐estradiol (E2) as model compound. The model compound was extracted from aqueous sample through a hydrophobic porous membrane that was impregnated with hexane/ethyl acetate (3:2), which also formed part of the acceptor phase. In the acceptor phase, the compound was bound onto MIP particles that were also part of the organic phase. The potential of such combination was optimised for the type and amount of MIP particles in the organic acceptor phase, the extraction time, and the type of organic acceptor solvent. Ultrasound assisted binding of E2 onto MIP particles was also investigated. MIPs prepared by precipitation polymerization were found to be superior to those prepared by bulk polymerization. Increase in the extraction time and the amount of MIP particles in the acceptor phase led to more E2 binding onto the MIP particles. Hexane/ethyl acetate (3:2) as an organic acceptor was found to give higher E2 binding onto MIP particles compared to toluene, diethyl ether, and hexane. Ultrasound was furthermore found to increase the binding of E2 onto MIP particles. The selectivity of the technique was demonstrated by extracting wastewater and where clean chromatograms were obtained compared to liquid membrane extractions (SLMs) alone.  相似文献

Isolation of the therapeutic cannabinoid compounds from Cannabis Sativa L. (C. Sativa) is important for the development of cannabis-based pharmaceuticals for cancer treatment, among other ailments. The main pharmacological cannabinoids are THC and CBD. However, THC also induces undesirable psychoactive effects. The decarboxylation process converts the naturally occurring acidic forms of cannabinoids, such as cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), to their more active neutral forms, known as cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The purpose of this study was to selectively extract cannabinoids using a novel in situ decarboxylation pressurized hot water extraction (PHWE) system. The decarboxylation step was evaluated at different temperature (80–150 °C) and time (5–60 min) settings to obtain the optimal conditions for the decarboxylation-PHWE system using response surface methodology (RSM). The system was optimized to produce cannabis extracts with high CBD content, while suppressing the THC and CBN content. The identification and quantification of cannabinoid compounds were determined using UHPLC-MS/MS with external calibration. As a result, the RSM has shown good predictive capability with a p-value < 0.05, and the chosen parameters revealed to have a significant effect on the CBD, CBN and THC content. The optimal decarboxylation conditions for an extract richer in CBD than THC were set at 149.9 °C and 42 min as decarboxylation temperature and decarboxylation time, respectively. The extraction recoveries ranged between 96.56 and 103.42%, 95.22 and 99.95%, 99.62 and 99.81% for CBD, CBN and THC, respectively.  相似文献

Ampholytes with close pK(a) values (i.e., good carrier ampholytes (CAs)) are needed as buffers in pH-biased isoelectric trapping (IET) separations. The syntheses of two families of such good CAs were reported recently. Members of the family of diamino sulfate ampholytes (first series) had pI values in the 5.7 < pI < 9.0 range. Members of the family of quaternary ammonium dicarboxylic acid ampholytes (second series) had pI values in the pI < 4.3 range. To further characterize the diamino sulfate ampholytes, their effective mobilities were measured by indirect UV-absorbance detection capillary electrophoresis in a series of background electrolytes (BGEs) with different pH values. The pK(a) and limiting ionic mobility values of the CAs were obtained by fitting these mobility values, as a function of the pH and the ionic strength of the BGEs, to the theoretical mobility expression. These diamino sulfates complete the list of CAs suitable for IET separations.  相似文献

A selective extraction technique based on the combination of liquid membrane (microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction) and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) was applied to triazines herbicides in food samples. Simazine, atrazine and propazine were extracted from aqueous food samples through the hydrophobic porous membrane that was impregnated with toluene, which also formed part of the acceptor phase. In the acceptor phase, the compounds were re-extracted onto MIP particles. The extraction technique was optimised for the amount of molecularly imprinted polymers particles in the organic acceptor phase, extraction time, and type of organic acceptor solvent and desorption solvent. An extraction time of 90 min and 50 mg of MIP were found to be optimum parameters. Toluene as the acceptor phase was found to give higher triazines binding onto MIP particles compared to hexane and combinations of diethyl ether and hexane. 90% methanol in water was found to be the best desorption solvent compared to acetonitrile, methanol and water. The selectivity of the technique was demonstrated by extracting spiked lettuce and apple extracts where clean chromatograms were obtained compared to liquid membrane extraction alone or to the microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction – non-imprinted polymer combination. The MIP showed a certain degree of group specificity and the extraction efficiency in lettuce extract was 79% (0.72) for simazine, 98% (1.55) for atrazine and 86% (3.08) for propazine.  相似文献

Two approaches are described in this paper for the synthesis of isoelectric buffers that have pI values in the 1.5 < pI < 4.3 range. The first synthesis relies on the alkylation of existing aminodicarboxylic acids and recovery of the ampholyte as an inner salt. The second synthesis method forms low-pI ampholytes by reacting a secondary amine with two equivalents of an alkylester of a haloalkanecarboxylic acid, followed by hydrolysis of the intermediate in an alkaline solution and recovery of the ampholyte as an inner salt. The new ampholytes have been analytically characterized by capillary electrophoresis, high-resolution electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry, one- and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and X-ray crystallography. The isoionic solutions of the new ampholytes have high buffering capacity and conductivity, making them good pH biasers in the receiving stream in preparative-scale pH-biased isoelectric trapping separations.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The calcium-substituted barium titanate nanopowders Ba1?xCaxTiO3 (0.2 ≤ x ≤ 0.3) have been obtained at room temperature by mechanochemical synthesis. The formation of the perovskite phase was controlled by X-ray diffraction studies at various milling duration. The powders possess the perovskite crystallographic structure directly after milling longer than 10 h. The dielectric properties of the ceramics obtained by sintering of the nanopowders were investigated in the temperature range between 300 and 500 K. The temperature dependence of permittivity exhibited a single anomaly, which corresponds to the ferroelectric–paraelectric phase transition.  相似文献
