A new metamaterial absorber structure is designed and characterized both numerically and experimentally for microwave energy harvesting applications. The proposed structure includes four wheel resonators with different dimensions, from which the overall response of the structure can then be obtained by summing all the overlapping frequency responses corresponding to each dimension. The essential operation frequency range of the wheels is selected in such a way that the energy used in wireless communications and found within the environment that we live is absorbed. The dimensions are obtained using parametric study and genetic algorithm to realize wideband absorption response. When the simulation and measurement results are taken into account, it is observed that the metamaterial absorber based harvester has potential to absorb and convert microwave energy with an absorption ratio lying within the range of 80 and 99% for the frequency band of 3–5.9 and 7.3–8 GHz. The conversion efficiency of the structure as a harvester is found to be greater than 0.8 in the interval of 2–5 GHz. Furthermore, the incident angle and polarization dependence of the wheel resonator based metamaterial absorber and harvester is also investigated and it is observed that the structure has both polarization and incident angle independent frequency response with good absorption characteristics in the entire working frequency band. Hence, the suggested design having good absorption, polarization and angle independent characteristics with wide bandwidth is a potential candidate for future energy harvester using wireless communication frequency band.  相似文献

The influence of the behavior and strategies of traders on stock price formation has attracted much interest. It is assumed that there is a positive correlation between the total net demand and the price change. A buy order is expected to increase the price, whereas a sell order is assumed to decrease it. We perform data analysis based on a recently proposed stochastic model for stock prices. The model involves long‐range dependence, self‐similarity, and no arbitrage principle, as observed in real data. The arrival times of orders, their quantity, and their duration are created by a Poisson random measure. The aggregation of the effect of all orders based on these parameters yields the log‐price process. By scaling the parameters, a fractional Brownian motion or a stable Levy process can be obtained in the limit. In this paper, our aim is twofold; first, to devise statistical methodology to estimate the model parameters with an application on high‐frequency price data, and second, to validate the model by simulations with the estimated parameters. We find that the statistical properties of agent level behavior are reflected on the stock price, and can affect the entire process. Moreover, the price model is suitable for prediction through simulations when the parameters are estimated from real data. This paper relates the multiple point spaces in the source and target of a corank 1 map-germ ${(\mathbb {C}^n, 0)\to(\mathbb {C}^{n+1}, 0)}$ . Let f be such a map-germ, and, for 1 ≤ k ≤ multiplicity( f ), let D k ( f ) be its k’th multiple point scheme – the closure of the set of ordered k-tuples of pairwise distinct points sharing the same image. There are natural projections D k+1( f ) → D k ( f ), determined by forgetting one member of the (k + 1)-tuple. We prove that the matrix of a presentation of ${\mathcal {O}_{D^{k+1}(f)}}$ over ${\mathcal {O}_{D^k(f)}}$ appears as a certain submatrix of the matrix of a suitable presentation of ${\mathcal {O}_{\mathbb {C}^n,0}}$ over ${\mathcal {O}_{\mathbb {C}^{n+1},0}}$ . Photocurable silica-titania hybrid coatings were prepared through an anhydrous sol–gel process. Moreover, test samples were prepared by the addition of definite ratios of fluoro acrylate oligomers into the formulations to manage the optical properties of transmitted light. Formulations were applied to corona-treated polycarbonate substrates. Upon adding the inorganic component to the coating material, thermal, mechanical, and other properties, such as hardness, gloss, contact angle, and flame resistance were improved. The photocured hybrid films showed an increase in the refractive index with increasing the titanium tetraisopropoxide content. As expected, a decrease was observed in the refractive index of the coatings with the incorporation of fluoro acrylate resin. The surface morphology of the hybrid films was characterized by ESEM analysis. In addition the chemical composition of the surface of the coatings was identified by ESEM–EDS technique. ESEM studies indicated that inorganic particles were dispersed homogenously throughout the organic matrix.  相似文献

In this study, a novel three functional chain extender(TATATRIOL) was synthesized from the reaction of 1,3,5-tri(prop-2-en-1-yl)-1,3,5-triazinane-2,4,6-trione(TATA) with 2-sulfanylethanol. Then new thermoplastic polyurethanes(TPUs) were synthesized by a one-step bulk polymerization from the reaction of 1,1'-methanediylbis(4-isocyanatocyclohexane)(H12MDI), a poly(ethylene adipate) based polyester polyol and a chain extender. Butane-1,4-diol(BD) and the newly synthesized monomer, TATATRIOL, were used as chain extenders. The effects of TATATRIOL on the properties of the TPU were investigated and compared to those of the TPU prepared with BD. The TPUs which derived from the sulfur containing chain extender displayed lower modulus and high elongation at break values than the analogous TPUs derived from BD. Moreover sulfur containing TPUs exhibited higher thermal stability.  相似文献

An elliptic-profile reflector with varying resistivity is analyzed under the illumination by an H-polarized beam generated by a complex-source-point (CSP) feed. The emphasis is done on the focusing ability that is potentially important in the applications in the optical range related to the partially transparent mirrors. We formulate the corresponding electromagnetic boundary-value problem and derive a singular integral equation from the resistive-surface boundary conditions. This equation is treated with the aid of the regularization technique called Riemann Hilbert Problem approach, which inverts the stronger singular part analytically, and converted to an infinite-matrix equation of the Fredholm 2nd kind. The resulting numerical algorithm has guaranteed convergence. This type of solution provides more accurate and faster results compared to the known method of moments. In the computations, a CSP feed is placed into a more distant geometrical focus of the elliptic reflector, and the near-field values at the closer focus are plotted and discussed. Various far-field radiation patterns including those for the non-uniform resistive variation on the reflector are also presented.  相似文献

In the present study, maleimide‐modified epoxide resin containing UV‐curable hybrid coating materials were prepared and coated on polycarbonate substrates in order to improve their surface properties. UV‐curable, bismaleimide‐modified aliphatic epoxy resin was prepared from N‐(p‐carboxyphenyl) maleimide (p‐CPMI) and cycloaliphatic epoxy (Cyracure‐6107) resin. The structure of the bismaleimide modified aliphatic epoxy resin was analyzed by FTIR and the characteristic absorption band for maleimide ring was clearly observed at 3100 cm?1. Silica sol was prepared from tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) and methacryloxy propyl trimethoxysilane (MAPTMS) by sol–gel method. The coating formulations with different compositions were prepared from UV‐curable bismaleimide‐based epoxy oligomer and sol–gel mixture. The molecular structure of the hybrid coating material was analyzed by 29Si‐CP/MAS NMR spectroscopy techniques. In the 29Si CP/MAS NMR spectrum of the hybrid coating, mainly two kinds of signals were observed at ?68 and ?110 ppm that correspond to T3 and Q4 peaks, respectively. This result shows that a fully condensed structure was obtained. The thermal and morphological properties of these coatings materials were investigated by using TGA and SEM techniques. Hardness and abrasion resistance properties of coating materials were examined and both were found to increase with sol–gel precursor content of the coating. The photopolymerization kinetics was investigated by using RT‐IR. 70% conversion was attained with the addition of 15 wt% of BMI resin into the acrylate‐based coating formulation. It was found that the UV‐curable organic–inorganic hybrid coatings improved the surface properties of polycarbonate. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We obtain the inhomogeneous invariance quantum group for the multi-dimensional q-deformed bosonic Newton oscillator algebra. The homogenous part of this quantum group is given by the multiparameter quantum group $ GL_{X;q_{ij} } $ GL_{X;q_{ij} } of Schirrmacher where q ij’s take some special values. We find the R-matrix which gives the non-commuting structure of the quantum group for the two dimensional case.  相似文献
