Isoxazole-linked steroidal glycoconjugates are prepared by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reactions of an in situ generated and hitherto unknown steroidal nitrile oxide with appropriate propargyl ethers of sugars. Silica-supported perchloric acid (HClO4/SiO2) was used to catalyze the synthesis of tetraazamacrocyclic complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) from the corresponding metal chlorides, nitrates, or acetates, isatin, and benzene-1,2-diamine in ethanol. The use of HClO4/SiO2 as catalyst allowed the reaction to be performed under stirring at room temperature instead of traditional reflux and completed in two hours. The synthesized complexes were characterized by molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility measurements, IR, electronic, 1H NMR, and mass spectra, and thermogravimetric and X-ray powder analyses. On the basis of these data, six-coordinate octahedral geometry was proposed for all complexes. The synthesized complexes were also tested for antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Zinc oxide and cadmium selenide particles in the nanometer size regime have been synthesized using chemical routes. The particles were capped using thioglycerol in case of ZnO and 2-mercaptoethanol in case of CdSe to achieve the stability and avoid the coalescence. Zinc oxide nanoparticles were doped with europium to study their optical properties. A variety of techniques like UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), photoluminescence (PL), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were used to carry out structural and spectroscopic characterizations of the nanoparticles.  相似文献

The radial distribution function for a fluid in which the molecules interactvia a triangular well potential is considered. Expanding the radial distribution function in pwoers of βɛ, where ɛ is the depth of the potential andβ=1/k BT the first-order terms are calculated analytically using the Percus-Yevick theory in the Baxter’s formulation. The first-order terms in the direct correlation functionc(r) are also calculated. The first- and second-order terms in the free energy obtained from the energy equation of state are calculated and compared with other calculations.
