The threat and global concern of energy crises have significantly increased over the last two decades. Because solar light and water are abundant on earth, photocatalytic hydrogen evolution through water splitting has been considered as a promising route to produce green energy. Therefore, semiconductor photocatalysts play a key role in transforming sunlight and water to hydrogen energy. To date, various photocatalysts have been studied. Among them, TiO2 has been extensively investigated because of its non-toxicity, high chemical stability, controllable morphology, and high photocatalytic activity. In particular, 1D TiO2 nanofibers (NFs) have attracted increasing attention as effective photocatalysts because of their unique 1D electron transfer pathway, high adsorption capacity, and high photoinduced electron–hole pair transfer capability. However, TiO2 NFs are considered as an inefficient photocatalyst for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) because of their disadvantages such as a large band gap (~3.2 eV) and fast recombination of photoinduced electron–hole pairs. Therefore, the development of a high-performance TiO2 NF photocatalyst is required for efficient solar light conversion. In recent years, several strategies have been explored to improve the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 NFs, including coupling with narrow-bandgap semiconductors (such as ZnIn2S4). Recently, microwave (MW)-assisted synthesis has been considered as an important strategy for the preparation of photocatalyst semiconductors because of its low cost, environment-friendliness, simplicity, and high reaction rate. Herein, to overcome the above-mentioned limiting properties of TiO2 NFs, we report a 2D/1D ZnIn2S4/TiO2 S-scheme heterojunction synthesized through a microwave (MW)-assisted process. Herein, the 2D/1D ZnIn2S4/TiO2 S-scheme heterojunction was constructed rapidly by using in situ 2D ZnIn2S4nanosheets decorated on 1D TiO2 NFs. The loading of ZnIn2S4 nanoplates on the TiO2 NFs could be easily controlled by adjusting the molar ratios of ZnIn2S4 precursors to TiO2 NFs. The photocatalytic activity of the as-prepared samples for water splitting under simulated solar light irradiation was assessed. The experimental results showed that the photocatalytic performance of the ZnIn2S4/TiO2 composites was significantly improved, and the obtained ZnIn2S4/TiO2 composites showed increased optical absorption. Under optimal conditions, the highest HER rate of the ZT-0.5 (molar ratio of ZnIn2S4/TiO2= 0.5) sample was 8774 μmol·g-1·h-1, which is considerably higher than those of pure TiO2 NFs (3312 μmol·g-1·h-1) and ZnIn2S4nanoplates (3114 μmol·g-1·h-1) by factors of 2.7 and 2.8, respectively. Based on the experimental data and Mott-Schottky analysis, a possible mechanism for the formation of the S-scheme heterojunction between ZnIn2S4 and TiO2 was proposed to interpret the enhanced HER activity of the ZnIn2S4/TiO2heterojunctionphotocatalysts.

Precise thresholds for site percolation on eight Archimedean lattices are determined by the hull-walk gradient-percolation simulation method, with the results p(c)=0.697 043, honeycomb or (6(3)), 0.807 904 (3,12(2)), 0.747 806 (4,6,12), 0.729 724 (4,8(2)), 0.579 498 (3(4),6), 0.621 819 (3,4,6,4), 0.550 213 (3(3),4(2)), and 0.550 806 (3(2),4,3,4), with errors of about +/- 3 x 10(-6). [The remaining Archimedean lattices are the square (4(4)), triangular (3(6)), and Kagomé (3,6,3,6), for which p(c) is already known exactly or to a high degree of accuracy.] The numerical result for the (3,12(2)) lattice is consistent with the exact value [1-2 sin(pi/18)](1/2). The values of p(c) for all 11 Archimedean lattices, as well as a number of nonuniform lattices, are found to be well correlated by a nearly linear function of a generalized Scher-Zallen filling factor. This correlation is much more accurate than recently proposed correlations based solely upon coordination number. 相似文献

We discuss the notion of spin squeezing considering two mutually exclusive classes of spin-s states, namely, oriented and non-oriented states. Our analysis shows that the oriented states are not squeezed while non-oriented
states exhibit squeezing. We also present a new scheme for construction of spin-s states using 2s spinors oriented along different axes. Taking the case of s=1, we show that the ‘non-oriented’ nature and hence squeezing arise from the intrinsic quantum correlations that exist among
the spinors in the coupled state. 相似文献

Background
Neuronal mechanisms underlying affective disorders such as major depression (MD) are still poorly understood. By selectively breeding mice for high (HR), intermediate (IR), or low (LR) reactivity of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenocortical (HPA) axis, we recently established a new genetic animal model of extremes in stress reactivity (SR). Studies characterizing this SR mouse model on the behavioral, endocrine, and neurobiological levels revealed several similarities with key endophenotypes observed in MD patients. HR mice were shown to have changes in rhythmicity and sleep measures such as rapid eye movement sleep (REMS) and non-REM sleep (NREMS) as well as in slow wave activity, indicative of reduced sleep efficacy and increased REMS. In the present study we were interested in how far a detailed spectral analysis of several electroencephalogram (EEG) parameters, including relevant frequency bands, could reveal further alterations of sleep architecture in this animal model. Eight adult males of each of the three breeding lines were equipped with epidural EEG and intramuscular electromyogram (EMG) electrodes. After recovery, EEG and EMG recordings were performed for two days. 相似文献6.

Background
Inflammation around cell bodies of primary sensory neurons and retinal ganglion cells enhances expression of neuronal growth-associated genes and stimulates axonal regeneration. We have asked if inflammation would have similar effects on corticospinal neurons, which normally show little response to spinal cord injury. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) was applied onto the pial surface of the motor cortex of adult rats with or without concomitant injury of the corticospinal tract at C4. Inflammation around corticospinal tract cell bodies in the motor cortex was assessed by immunohistochemistry for OX42 (a microglia and macrophage marker). Expression of growth-associated genes c-jun, ATF3, SCG10 and GAP-43 was investigated by immunohistochemistry or in situ hybridisation. 相似文献
