The cross sections of neutrino and antineutrino quasielastic reactions \(vn \to \mu ^ - p,\bar vp \to \mu ^ + n,\bar vp \to \mu ^ + \Lambda\) were studied in the neutrino energy range between 3 and 30 GeV. In comparison withV-A theory axial mass parameters ofM A =(1.06±0.05±0.14) GeV/c2 from neutrino andM A =(0.71±0.10±0.20) GeV/c2 from antineutrino data were found. The total cross-section for the hyperon production process can be described byM A =1.0 GeV/c2. 相似文献

We present the final results from the search for μe pairs produced in neutrino interactions using the freon filled bubble chamber SKAT. The rate of μ? e + pairs to charged current events above the charm threshold is \(R_{\mu ^ - e^ + } = (4.8 \pm 1.1)10^{ - 3} \) . Assuming charm particle production to be the origin of the positron we calculate \(R_{\Lambda _c^ + } = (6.2 \pm 3.1)10^{ - 2} \) andR D =(2.8±0.9)10?2. We observe no considerable μ? e ? pair production above the background. In the regionE v >3 GeV,p μ,e >1.0 GeV/c andp μ>p e we find with a 90% confidence level the limit \(R_{\mu ^ - e^ - }< 1.7 10^{ - 4} \) . 相似文献

For charged current neutrino nucleus interactions at energies below 30 GeV, resulting from an experiment with the freon filled bubble chamber SKAT,K 0 and Λ production is investigated. An estimation of the total strange and charm production cross section is made.K 0 and Λ production rates are given in dependence on different inclusive variables. The production properties forK 0′s and Λ′s are discussed in terms of the Quark-Parton-Model. Comparisons with other ν-experiments at higher energies are performed. 相似文献

The production of μe-pairs is studied in interactions of neutrinos with nuclei of heavy freon in the SKAT bubble chamber experiment. A rate of μ? e + to charged current interactions above the charm threshold of \(R^{\mu ^ - e^ + } = (4.6 \pm 1.2) \cdot 10^{ - 3} \) is found. The properties of the observed μ? e + events can be well described by assuming them to originate from the semileptonic decay of quasielastic produced charmed baryonsΛ c and inclusive charmedD-meson production. The rates for these reactions are found to be (6.7±3.5)×10?2 and (2.5±0.9)×10?2, respectively. A total charmed particle production rate of (9.2±3.6)×10?2 is calculated. 相似文献

Studying the coherent diffractive production of pions in neutrino and antineutrino scattering off the nuclei of freon molecules we have observed for the first time in one experiment all three states of the isospin triplet of the axial part of the weak charged and neutral currents. For the corresponding cross sections we derive $$\begin{array}{*{20}c} {\sigma _{coh}^v (\pi ^ + ) = (106 \pm 16) \cdot 10^{ - 40} {{cm^2 } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{cm^2 } {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}} \\ {\sigma _{coh}^{\bar v} (\pi ^ - ) = (113 \pm 35) \cdot 10^{ - 40} {{cm^2 } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{cm^2 } {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}and} \\ {\sigma _{coh}^v (\pi ^0 ) = (52 \pm 19) \cdot 10^{ - 40} {{cm^2 } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{cm^2 } {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\left\langle {nucl.} \right\rangle }}} \\ \end{array} $$ . Comparing our data with theoretical predictions based on the standard model of weak interactions we find reasonable agreement. Independently from any model of coherent pion production we determine the isovector axial vector coupling constant to be |β|=0.99±0.20. 相似文献

Neutrino and antineutrino charged current reactions are studied inclusively at energies below 30 GeV using the freon filled bubble chamber SKAT at the Serpukhov accelerator. In the SKAT neutrino bubble chamber experiment at the Serpukhov accelerator we observe 83 events with electrons and no further lepton in the final state. Comparing the ratio of electron to muon charged current events at energies 3<E v <30 GeV with that expected fromv e -beam background assuming lepton universality we find \(R = (N_{e^ - } /N_{\mu ^ - } )_{\exp } /(N_{e^ - } /N_{\mu ^ - } )_{calc} = 0.98 \pm 0.15\) . Furthermore we compare experimental observations and theoretical expectations for some differential distributions of the electron-neutrino charged current reaction. No significant deviation from lepton universality is found. Looking in the charged current reaction for oscillations of muon to electron type neutrinos we find no effect down to the 90% confidence limits Δm 2 =1.3 eV2 at sin22θ=1 and sin22θ=2.5·10?3 at Δm 2=60 eV2. 相似文献
