Ranges of monochromatic muons in nuclear photoemulsion, produced in the ?? ?? ??? ?? decay, are measured by the coordinate method to determine their energy by the range. The variance of the muon energymeasured by this method ?? ?? = (0.11±0.01) MeV, which corresponds to the accuracy of the determination of the charged particle energy by the range in nuclear emulsion ??3.1%. The developed technique will allow electron energy measurements in the 2??-decay (??3 MeV)with an accuracy of (5?C6)%. 相似文献

Angular correlations between secondary particles emitted in the interaction between 56Fe nuclei of momentum 2.5 GeV/c per nucleon and photoemulsion nuclei were measured. These secondaries are partitioned into four groups: s, g, b, and f. For particles from each pair of the above groups, the average values of the collinearity factor and of the asymmetry parameter, as well as the parameter η of the function α(1+η cos ε) approximating the distribution of azimuthal-angle differences ε, were calculated. 相似文献

Experimental data on the emission of cumulative particles arising in the interaction of 2.5-GeV/c56Fe nuclei (FeEm) and 10–200 GeV neutrinos (νEm) with photoemulsion nuclei are analyzed. The number of cumulative particles correlates with the emission of secondary charged particles in the (FeEm) and (νEm) interactions. 相似文献

The correlation of two α particles has been measured. In the case of a one-dimensional parameterization of the correlation function, the size of the source of the α particles is R(α) = 2.84 ± 0.28stat ± 0.23sist fm. This result is compared to similar measurements for protons and deuterons. 相似文献

It is shown that during the stopping and decaying of positively charged muon (μ+) in a nuclear emulsion, there arises with a probability of about 10?2 electron with energies between 10 and 180 keV. The energy spectrum and angular distribution of these electrons are measured. A hypothesis on the possible mechanism behind the appearance of electrons corresponding to μ+ decay is put forth. 相似文献

It is shown that, upon the stopping of a negatively charged kaon and its absorption by a nucleus, there arise particles whose appearance does not comply with thermodynamic evaporation theory. An identification of these particles by various methods makes it possible to evaluate the nearly identical yields of 3H and 3He nuclei. This result may serve as an indication that direct reactions induced by interaction with 4He are observed in K−-meson absorption in nuclei.

The absorption of slow K? mesons in nuclear emulsion through the mesonic and nonmesonic channels has been measured. It has been shown that K? mesons are absorbed in the surface (diffuse) layer of a nucleus. The results are in qualitative agreement with theoretical calculations involving the mesonic and nonmesonic potentials of the absorption of kaons by light and heavy nuclei of nuclear emulsion. 相似文献
