A new method for rotation and brightness invariant pattern recognition was proposed by applying multiple circular harmonic expansions to the joint transform correlator. The amplitudes of the multiple orders of circular harmonic expansions made from a detecting image were synthetically modified to respond to the same auto-correlation peaks. These modified circular harmonic expansions were arranged in the input plane as reference patterns together with an arbitrary target pattern, and the correlation signals between them were calculated in the subtracted joint transform correlator. The fraction of the correlation-peak intensities between the target and the references were extracted as a new discrimination parameter. This new parameter performs pattern recognition under rotation and brightness invariance with good discriminability. Its high discriminability has been proved in computer simulations using the face image patterns of many individuals.  相似文献

Both S-(-)- and R-(+)-enantiomers of 5-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-5-phenylhydantoin (p-HPPH), a main oxidative metabolite of the achiral antiepileptic drug phenytoin, could be determined simply, sensitively and accurately using reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography by using a methanol-monopotassium phosphate eluent containing beta-cyclodextrin. Using this assay procedure, it was determined that an S-(-)-enantiomer was formed predominantly by the oxidation of phenytoin in isolated rat hepatocytes.  相似文献

We report ellipticity dependence of high-order harmonic generation (HHG) from aligned N2, O2, and CO2 molecules. Experimentally, we find that the ellipticity dependence is sensitive to molecular alignment and to the shape and symmetry of the valence orbitals. It is also found that the destructive interference in the recombination process affects the ellipticity dependence. Theoretically, we extend the original Lewenstein model to a more generalized model, which can be applicable to HHG from molecules, by introducing an electron acceleration parameter xi(theta) and by combining the molecular orbital method. The present observations are successfully explained by our model.  相似文献

We demonstrate that molecules with a moderate permanent dipole moment can be oriented with combined electrostatic and pulsed, nonresonant laser fields. We use OCS molecules as a sample. The degree of orientation can be increased by increasing the magnitude of electrostatic field and the peak intensity of the laser field or by decreasing the rotational temperature of the molecules.  相似文献

The output energy of photovoltaic (PV) modules is influenced by the spectral irradiance distribution of the solar spectrum under outdoor conditions. To rate the precise output energy of PV modules, the correction of short circuit current (ISC) based on actual environmental conditions is needed, because ISC significantly depends on the shape of the spectral irradiance distribution. The average photon energy (APE) is a zero-dimensional index for spectral irradiance distribution, and APE value uniquely describes the shape of a solar spectrum. Thus, APE has an impact on ISC of PV modules. In this contribution, the relationship between APE coefficient and ISC of the multi-crystalline silicon, single-crystalline silicon, heterojunction intrinsic thin-layer, back contact, copper indium selenide and cadmium telluride PV modules has explored. It is revealed that APE value changes the ISC of PV modules which appeared to have immense possibilities of ISC correction using APE coefficient. This new approach can be very effective for precise rating the output energy of PV modules under actual outdoor conditions.  相似文献

A BSO spatial light modulator (BSO-SLM) was operated applying ac voltage. The basic properties of the operation correspond to those in a usual lock-in detector and a 2-dimensional lock-in detector array (2D-LOCKIN) was implemented by the optical modulator. The properties of the 2D-LOCK-IN using a BSO-SLM were investigated theoretically and experimentally. As an application of the 2D-LOCK-IN, oscillating amplitude were observed on simple vibrating objects.  相似文献
