Determination of the glueball mass spectrum with allowance for spin-orbital interactions

The mass spectrum of a coupled state is analytically determined. The mechanism of production of a constituent mass of particles forming a coupled state is explained. The change of the coupled state and constituent particle component masses attendant to changes of the coupling constant is analyzed. Effect of electron irradiation on the mechanical and thermal properties of some polymer materials

The effect of electron irradiation on the mechanical properties (deformability) of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyimide (PI), and Fenilon (Fe) films, as well as the thermal properties (heat conductivity and capacity) of PTFE is studied experimentally. The thickness of the films was 40–50 m. Mechanical tests showed that polyimide films were more resistant to radiation than the other films. The investigation of the changes in the thermal properties of PTFE due to electron irradiation revealed that the phase transitions observed at temperatures of 293 and 303 K in unirradiated PTFE were shifted to lower temperature regions.Abai Alma-Ata State University, Kazakhstan. Determination of the Glueball Mass Spectrum with the Spin-Orbit Interaction

Based on the investigation of the asymptotic behaviour of the polarization loop function for scalar charged particles in an external gauge field we determine the interaction Hamiltonian including the nonperturbative corrections of the relativistic character of motion and the large coupling constant. The mass spectrum of the bound state is analytically derived. The mechanism for arising of the constituent mass of the bound-state forming particles is explained. The change of the bound-state mass and of the constituent mass of particles is analyzed by varying the coupling constant. The mass spectrum of the two-gluon glueball is calculated taking into account spin-orbit and spin-spin interactions.     

Numerical study of Langevin equation in twisted Eguchi-Kawai model

The Langevin equation at the group manifolds is derived and investigated for the twisted Eguchi-Kawai model The numerical results for the string tension for various values of N are combined with the known Monte Carlo results to give an improved value of the string tension. The distribution of eigenvalues of Wilson loop matrices are also studied.     

Temperature dependences of internal friction and shear modulus in glass-textolites irradiated with electrons

A study is made of mechanical relaxation mechanisms and the correlation between parameters characterizing the temperature dependence of internal friction and shear modulus when the mechanical and electrical properties of glass-textolites of grades ST-11 and ST-ETF are altered by exposure to different doses of high-energy electrons. High-temperature - and -transformation are observed, these transformations being due to the unfreezing of segmental mobility in the polymer matrix and the boundary layers at the surfaces of the glass fibers under the influence of the radiation. A discussion is presented of features of radiation-induced degradation processes in the polymer binder and at points where it contacts the filler. The data that is obtained shows that glass-texolites ST-ETF and ST-11 are highly resistant to radiation.Scientific-Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics of Kazakh State National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
