We report the first measurements of the hyperfine splitting of the fine structure levels 3d 5'4s a 5 S 2 and 3d 5 4p z 5 P 1,2,3 0 in singly ionised manganese in a collinear fast ion beam-laser experiment. The ions are excited by the intracavity frequency doubled output of a ring dye laser. The observed linewidth is sufficiently narrow to identify all hyperfine components of each fine structure level. 相似文献

By means of reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography, we have fractionated bovine lutropin (LH) standard preparations. The highly purified NIAMDD-bLH-4 was fractionated into two components, while the less pure NIH-LH-B9 revealed three distinct peaks. The eluted material was further characterized by in vitro bioassay and by homologous radioimmunoassay for bovine LH, ovine LH-alpha and ovine LH-beta subunits. The material with the shortest retention time possessed almost no LH-activity and showed a displacement curve nearly identical with that of the ovine LH-alpha subunit. The material corresponding to the second peak exhibited 6% of the original LH-activity, and its immunoreactivity was equal to that of the ovine LH-beta subunit. Furthermore, the fractions supposed to contain the alpha and the beta subunits were rechromatographed and their aminoacid contents analyzed. The results show close similarities between the rechromatographed fractions and the pure subunits. 相似文献

A novel synthesis of thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolines 4(a–e), pyrido[2′,3′:4,5]thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolines {5(a–e), 6(a–e), and 7(a–e)}, pyrano[2′,3′:4,5]thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazolines 8(a–e), and benzo[4,5]thiazolo[2,3-b]quinazoloine9(a–e) derivatives starting from 2-(Bis-methylsulfanyl-methylene)-5,5-dimethyl-cyclohexane-1,3-dione 2 as efficient α,α dioxoketen dithioacetal is reported and the synthetic approaches of these types of compounds will provide an innovative molecular framework to the designing of new active heterocyclic compounds. In our study, we also present optimization of the synthetic method along with a biological evaluation of these newly synthesized compounds as antioxidants and antibacterial agents against the bacterial strains, like S. aureus, E. coli, and P. aeruginosa. Among all the evaluated compounds, it was found that some showed significant antioxidant activity at 10 μg/mL while the others exhibited better antibacterial activity at 100 μg/mL. The results of this study showed that compound 6(c) possessed remarkable antibacterial activity, whereas compound 9(c) exhibited the highest efficacy as an antioxidant. The Sudbury Neutrino Observatory has precisely determined the total active (nu(x)) 8B solar neutrino flux without assumptions about the energy dependence of the nu(e) survival probability. The measurements were made with dissolved NaCl in heavy water to enhance the sensitivity and signature for neutral-current interactions. The flux is found to be 5.21 +/- 0.27(stat)+/-0.38(syst) x 10(6) cm(-2) s(-1), in agreement with previous measurements and standard solar models. A global analysis of these and other solar and reactor neutrino results yields Deltam(2)=7.1(+1.2)(-0.6) x 10(-5) eV(2) and theta=32.5(+2.4)(-2.3) degrees. Maximal mixing is rejected at the equivalent of 5.4 standard deviations. 相似文献
