We study the appearance of directed energy current in homogeneous spatially extended systems coupled to a heat bath in the presence of an external ac field E(t). The systems are described by nonlinear field equations. By making use of a symmetry analysis, we predict the right choice of E(t) and obtain directed energy transport for systems with a nonzero topological charge Q. We demonstrate that the symmetry properties of motion of topological solitons (kinks and antikinks) are equivalent to the ones for the energy current. Numerical simulations confirm the predictions of the symmetry analysis and, moreover, show that the directed energy current drastically increases as the dissipation parameter alpha reduces.  相似文献

In this article we compare the classical monopole mass filter of von Zahn and the monopole mass filter with a hyperbolic V-shaped electrode. The experimental results and those of computer simulation for both mass spectrometers are presented. We show that the replacement of a conventional 90 degrees V-shaped electrode by an electrode with a hyperbolic profile substantially improves the peak shape of any given mass, and increases the mass resolution by a factor of 3-4 and the abundance sensitivity by a factor of 100. The potential of high analytical performance combined with electroforming techniques for electrode manufacture indicate future practical uses of such instruments. The fluorine-ion conductivity of anion-deficient solid solutions R 1−x CaxF3−x and R 1−x BaxF3−x having the tysonite (LaF3) structure was investigated by the impedance spectroscopy method. R 1−x CaxF3−x (R=La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho) and R 1−x BaxF3−x (R=La, Pr, Nd) single crystals were grown from the melt by the Bridgman-Stockbarger method. The electrophysical measurements were performed in the frequency range 5−5×105 and temperature range 300–700 K. The temperature dependences of the electrical conductivity for the crystals studied is determined by the migration of fluorine anions along various structural positions. It is shown that, from the standpoint of increasing the conductivity of tysonite matrices RF3 (R=La, Pr, Nd), doping by CaF2 and BaF2 is less promising than SrF2. Fiz. Tverd. A review of diverse resonant effects appearing in weakly dissipative Josephson coupled systems in the presence of inhomogeneous dynamic localized state (discrete breather) is given. As particular examples I discuss the resonant interaction of breather states with linear electromagnetic excitations (EEs) in dc driven Josephson junction ladders and a single plaquette containing three Josephson junctions. Such resonant interaction manifests itself by resonant steps and various sharp switchings (voltage jumps) in the current-voltage characteristics. Moreover, the resonant interaction leads to an increase of breather dynamical complexity, e.g., enlargement of the breather core, low symmetry or quasiperiodic breather states. I show that the application of an external magnetic field allows to tune the resonant interaction, and correspondingly to increase (or decrease) the height of the resonant steps, to change the stability of the breather states.  相似文献

It is found that a significant increase of the recombination barrier φrec takes place with an increase of photoexcitation level in a highly compensated semiconductor with large-scale fluctuations of electrostatic potential. The effect is caused by the dependence of the degree of filling local levels, that determines the φrec value, on light intensity absorbed in the impurity range of the spectrum. It makes it possible to increase the photosensitivity of the material by several orders of magnitude at the additional illumination use.  相似文献

We investigate collective Cooper-pair transport of one- and two-dimensional Josephson-junction arrays. We derive an analytical expression for the current-voltage characteristic revealing thermally activated conductivity at small voltages and threshold voltage depinning. The activation energy and the related depinning voltage represent a dynamic Coulomb barrier for collective charge transfer over the whole system and scale with the system size. We show that both quantities are nonmonotonic functions of the magnetic field. We propose that formation of the dynamic Coulomb barrier and its size scaling are consequences of the mutual Josephson phase synchronization across the system. We apply the results for interpretation of experimental data in disordered films near the superconductor-insulator transition.  相似文献

DC magnetization, neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction (with both polarized and unpolarized neutrons) measurements have been reported for the Co1.1−x Zn x Ge0.1Fe1.2O1 spinels with x=0.5, 0.6 and 0.7. Neutron depolarization and neutron diffraction measurements confirm the presence of a long range ferrimagnetic ordering of the local canted spins in these ferrite samples. The observed features of low field magnetization have been explained under the framework of thermally activated domain wall movement of ferrimagnetic arrangement of local canted spins. An important role of magnetic anisotropy (due to the presence of Co2+ ions) in establishing the magnetic ordering and domain kinetics in these ferrites has been observed.  相似文献
