Conversion of methanol in the presence of H2O, O2, H2, CO, CO2 and He was studied at 733 K on H-ZSM-5 zeolite. The effect of diluent on the selectivity to light olefins and resistance to coking of H-ZSM-5 were observed. Among the diluents studied only water exerts a promoting effect on prolonged activity of the catalyst. Some explanations of the deactivation process are given.

Summary An analytical GC method was developed which uses a single packed column consisting of three packings in series prepared with the following liquid phases: dimethyl sulfolane, propylene carbonate, and silver nitrate. This system provides satisfactory resolution of mixtures of C1–C5 hydrocarbons and dimethyl ether obtained when converting methanol to gasoline. Due to the high capacity of the column it is possible to inject larger sample amounts permitting trace analysis. 相似文献

Cross-polarization (CP) magic angle spinning (MAS) solid-state 13C NMR spectra of five steroidal sapogenins: tigogenin ((25R)-5alpha-spirostan-3beta-ol), hecogenin (3beta-hydroxy-(25R)-5alpha-spirostan-12-one), diosgenin ((delta5-(25R)-5alpha-spirosten-3beta-ol), sarsasapogenin ((25S)-55beta-spirostan-3beta-ol), and smilagenin ((25R)-5beta-spirostan-3beta-ol) were recorded. The solid-state chemical shifts are almost the same as for solution, which indicate that confirmations of sapogenins are similar in both phases. The doubling of some resonances in the spectra of solid diosgenin shows that there are two molecules in the crystallographic asymmetric unit. The cross-polarization time constants T(CP) and relaxation times in the rotating frame T(1rho)H were obtained from the variable-contact cross-polarization experiments for tigogenin and diosgenin. The values of T(CH) for methyl carbons indicate fast rotation of methyl groups and are close (0.30-0.35 ms), suggesting that the interaction with their intramolecular neighbors is similar. The values of T(1rho)H for carbons of tigogenin are longer than of diosgenin. Very efficient cross-polarization dynamics results in short time required for obtaining a spectrum of sapogenin of remarkably good quality. 相似文献

The dependency of the critical Marangoni number on the geometrical aspect ratio of the floating half zone is essential to predict the onset of oscillatory thermocapillary convection. The experimental studies in the microgravity conditions on floating half zones of several centimeters in diameter have predicted that the critical Marangoni number increases with the increasing aspect ratio, and the terrestrial experimental studies have predicted the contradictory conclusion for floating half zones of several mil... 相似文献

Non-Gravitational Effects with Density-Matching in Evaluating the Influence of Sedimentation on Colloidal Coagulation 下载免费PDF全文
The method of density matching between the solid and liquid phases is often adopted to effectively eliminate the effect of sedimentation of suspensions in studies on dynamic behaviour of a colloidal system. However, the associated changes in the solvent composition may bring side effects to the properties investigated and therefore might lead to a faulty conclusion if the relevant correction is not made. To illustrate the importance of this side effect, we present an example of the sedimentation influence on the coagulation rate of suspensions of 2μm (diameter) polystyrene. The liquid mixtures, in the proper proportions of water (H2O), deuterium oxide (D2O) and methanol (MeOH) as the liquid phase, density-matched and unmatched experiments are performed. Besides the influence of viscosity, the presence of methanol in solvent media, used to enhance the sedimentation effect, causes significant changes (reduction) in rapid coagulation rates compared to that in pure water. Without the relevant corrections for those non-gravitational factors it seems that gravitational sedimentation would retard the coagulation. The magnitude of the contribution from the non-gravitational factor is quantitatively determined, making the relevant correction possible. After necessary the influence of the sedimentation on coagulation rates at corrections for all factors, our experiments show that the initial stage of the coagulation is not observable. 相似文献
