We propose a new nonlinear optical material, a polymeric nanocomposite based on DAST submicron crystals (trans-4’-(dimethylamino)-N-methyl-4-stilbazolium tosylate). The method and the preparation conditions for films based on a mixture of polymer solutions and a DAST powder are studied. Polymer matrices of various types, solvent ratio for the pair DAST/polymer, and electrical poling conditions are investigated. Absorption and luminescence spectra and the second harmonic generation have confirmed the creation of red-form DAST nanocrystals in polymer films. The figure of merit for a resulting polymer film is approximately 400 times higher than that for LiNbO3 at a wavelength of 1.32 microns.  相似文献

We report the method of incorporation of preformed gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) into the acrylic polymer (AP) matrices and optical, TEM characterization of AuNP/AP bulk and film composite. It was shown that incorporation of dodecanethiol-covered AuNP can be enhanced in the presence of SiO2 nanoparticles, enabling at the same time a wider range of tailoring of composite properties for optical processing.  相似文献

Highly selective volume-diffraction gratings are recorded on a holographic acrylate nanocomposite. The holographic characteristics of the gratings are studied. It is shown that the diffraction efficiency of gratings can reach 50% and a 3D hologram is formed. The refractive index modulation is 0.048–0.065.
