This paper describes the difference between phase shifting in-line interferometry, single shot off-axis geometry and Zernike's polynomial fitting methods for measuring the curvature of a spherical smooth surface by using the Michelson interferometer. In phase shifting in-line interferometry, four interferograms shifted by a piezoelectric actuator (PZT) were captured by a digital detector and corrected by using the flat fielding method. In off-axis geometry, single shot off-axis interferogram was obtained by tilting the reference and the object wave of the off-axis interferogram was reconstructed in the central region of the observation plane by using the digital reference wave concept. The demodulated phase map was obtained and unwrapped to remove the 2π ambiguity. The unwrapped phase map was converted to height and the sagittal length that used for curvature measurement was calculated accurately. The results extracted from phase shifting in-line interferometry and single shot off-axis geometry methods were compared with the results extracted from single shot Zernike's polynomial fitting method and the results were in excellent agreement. A new trial was done to overcome the fringes produced from the object interfaces. Some factors of uncertainty which affected on the measurement were estimated in the order of 6.0 × 10?5 mm or 0.003 dioptre (▽).  相似文献

In this study, a sensitive high‐performance liquid chromatography method was developed and validated for the simultaneous determination of seven angiotensin II receptor blockers, namely, hydrochlorothiazide, chlorthalidone, eprosartan mesylate, valsartan, losartan potassium, irbesartan, and candesartan cilexetil. Different chromatographic parameters were tested and fully optimized. Best chromatographic separation was accomplished on a reversed‐phase octadecylsilyl column (250 × 4.6 mm id; 5 μm) under gradient elution using methanol/sodium phosphate monobasic buffer (0.01 M, pH 6.5) as mobile phase. The detection of target analytes was obtained at 254 nm. The pH of the buffer has been selected according to Marvin® sketch software. The proposed method was validated according to ICH guidelines and showed good precision (relative standard deviation < 1), good linearity (square of correlation coefficient ≥ 0.999), and high accuracy (between 98 and 102%) with detection limit and quantitation limit (40 and 160 ng/mL, respectively) for all the detected analytes.  相似文献

The purpose of this investigation is to theoretically shed some light on the effect of the unsteady electroosmotic flow (EOF) of an incompressible fractional second-grade fluid with low-dense mixtures of two spherical nanoparticles, copper, and titanium. The flow of the hybrid nanofluid takes place through a vertical micro-channel. A fractional Cattaneo model with heat conduction is considered. For the DC-operated micropump, the Lorentz force is responsible for the pressure difference through the microchannel. The Debye-Hükel approximation is utilized to linearize the charge density. The semi-analytical solutions for the velocity and heat equations are obtained with the Laplace and finite Fourier sine transforms and their numerical inverses. In addition to the analytical procedures, a numerical algorithm based on the finite difference method is introduced for the given domain. A comparison between the two solutions is presented. The variations of the velocity heat transfer against the enhancements in the pertinent parameters are thoroughly investigated graphically. It is noticed that the fractional-order parameter provides a crucial memory effect on the fluid and temperature fields. The present work has theoretical implications for biofluid-based microfluidic transport systems.

The characterisation of a small sonochemical reactor has been performed using electrochemical, luminescent and photographic techniques. The electrochemical experiments have employed a novel flow system to determine the formation of sonochemical products (in this case hydrogen peroxide) in semi-real time with high sensitivity. The rate of production of hydrogen peroxide is reported as a function of driving pressure amplitude. The degradation of an organic molecule, specifically the organic dye amaranth, within the sonochemical cell is also reported.  相似文献

In this paper, the root mean square (rms) technique is applied in order to reduce the non-coherent noise in phase-contrast image. The proposed technique is applied to a sample of 200 μm step height nominally. The recorded off-axis interferograms generated from two different wavelengths are processed to obtain an object wave (amplitude and phase) for each wavelength separately. The independent phase maps are subtracted and a phase map for the beat-wavelength is obtained and converted to height map. The rms values of 10 pixels profiles from the obtained height map are calculated automatically to show the three-dimensional (3D) profile. The experimental results show that the non-coherent noise is reduced by the order of 90% when the rms technique is applied and the uncertainty in measurement has been found to be of the order of 1.5 μm. The proposed technique can provide a simple and real solution for measuring 3D objects having high abrupt height difference.  相似文献

Bulk superconducting samples of type Tl0.5Pb0.5Sr1.6Ba0.4CaCu2−x Ru x O7−δ, (Tl, Pb)/Sr-1212, with 0.0 ≤ x ≤ 0.525 were prepared by the conventional one-step solid-state reaction technique. The prepared samples were investigated using X-ray powder diffraction, electrical resistivity and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) measurements. Enhancement of the phase formation, superconducting transition temperature T c and hole carriers concentration P was observed up to x = 0.075. For x > 0.075, a reverse trend was observed. EPR spectra were measured at different temperatures (120–290 K) for all prepared samples. The number of spins N participating in the resonance and the paramagnetic susceptibility χ were calculated as a function of both Ru-content and temperature. N and χ increased as the Ru-content increased. A linear relationship between logN and 1/T was established, from which the activation energy E a was calculated as a function of the Ru-content. The temperature dependence of χ was fitted according to Curie–Weiss type of magnetic behavior. Curie constant C, Curie temperature θ, the effective magnetic moment μ and the electronic specific heat γ were estimated as a function of the Ru-content.  相似文献

The characteristics of ion beam extraction and focused to a volume as small as possible were investigated with the aid of computer code SIMION 3D version 7. This has been used to evaluate the extraction characteristics (accel-decel system) to generate an ion beam with low beam emittance and high brightness. The simulation process can provide a good study for optimizing the extraction and focusing system of the ion beam without any losses and transported to the required target. Also, a study of a simulation model for the extraction system of the ion source was used to describe the possible plasma boundary curvatures during the ion extraction that may be affected by the change in an extraction potential with a constant plasma density meniscus.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Bayfol (PC-PBT blend ?lm) is a class of polymeric solid-state nuclear track detector which has a lot of applications in several radiation detection ?elds. It is a bisphenol-A polycarbonate PC blended with polybutylene terephthalate PBT. Bayfol/Palladium (PC-PBT/Pd) nanocomposite films have been deposited using the molding technique. It is worth mentioning that this report is almost the first one dealing with the topic of the changes of physical properties of Bayfol/Pd nanocomposite due to laser exposure. Samples from PC-PBT/Pd (5?wt%) nanocomposite were exposed to IR-pulsed laser of 5-W power, capable of producing 2000 pulses per second with pulse duration of 200?ns at 904?nm. The laser fluences were in the range 2–25?J/cm2. The resultant modi?cations in the exposed nanocomposite samples have been studied as a function of fluence using different characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV spectroscopy and color difference studies. The results indicate the proper dispersion of Pd nanoparticles in the PC-PBT matrix that causes a strong intermolecular interaction between Pd and PC-PBT, resulted in an increase in refractive index and the amorphous phase. Also, it is found that the laser exposure reduces the optical energy gap that could be attributed to the increase in structural disorder of the exposed PC-PBT/Pd nanocomposites due to crosslinking. Further, the color intensity ΔE, which is the color difference between the exposed samples and the non-exposed one, was increased with increasing the laser fluence, convoyed by a significant increase in the green and yellow color components.  相似文献

Peristaltic motion induced by a surface acoustic wave of a viscous, compressible and electrically conducting Maxwell fluid in a confined parallel-plane microchannel through a porous medium is investigated in the presence of a constant magnetic field. The slip velocity is considered and the problem is discussed only for the free pumping case. A perturbation technique is employed to analyze the problem in terms of a small amplitude ratio. The phenomenon of a “backward flow” is found to exist in the center and at the boundaries of the channel. In the second order approximation, the net axial velocity is calculated for various values of the fluid parameters. Finally, the effects of the parameters of interest on the mean axial velocity, the reversal flow, and the perturbation function are discussed and shown graphically. We find that in the non-Newtonian regime, there is a possibility of a fluid flow in the direction opposite to the propagation of the traveling wave. This work is the most general model of peristalsis created to date with wide-ranging applications in biological, geophysical and industrial fluid dynamics.  相似文献
