The Plankian radiation temperature of an intense x-ray source driven by imploding spherical CH plastic shell is measured with a filtered-multi-channel pinhole camera. With all the twelve laser beams of the GEKKO-XII laser facility applied, the average radiation temperature is measured to be around 465 eV while the temperature at the core is as high as 818eV. We investigate the Ne-like Cr x-ray laser at $28.6\,\mathrm{nm}$ by
using a modified 1D lagrangian hydrodynamic code MED103 coupled with
an atomic physics data package and a 2D ray tracing code as a
post-processor. The laser pumping configuration includes two
prepulses and one main pulse. The first prepulse normally irradiates
the target, while the second prepulse and the main pulse irradiate
the target at grazing-incident angles. We predict that saturation
can be achieved for the Ne-like Cr x-ray lasers with a total pumping
energy of $125\,\mathrm{mJ}$. Good beam qualities with no deflecting
angle and a small divergence angle of $5\,\mathrm{mrad}$ are

在激光等离子体相互作用过程中,受激拉曼散射(SRS)会通过Langmuir波衰减不稳定性(LDI)和电子俘获两种机理饱和.文章给出均匀一维等离子体和低强度非相对论激光作用中,LDI和电子俘获两种机理下的SRS饱和时间的解析表达式.SRS饱和时间与入射激光强度,电子密度,电子温度,初始电子密度微扰等参数有关.解析理论计算得到了与模拟和实验相符的结果.

Quasistatic magnetic fields generated by a nonrelativistic intense laser pulse in uniform underdense plasma 下载免费PDF全文
Quasistatic magnetic fields generated by nonrelativistic intense linearly polarized (LP) and circularly polarized (CP) laser pulses in an initially uniform underdense plasma in the collision-dominated limit are investigated analytically. Using a selfconsistent analytical model, we perform a detailed derivation of quasistatic magnetic fields in the laser pulse envelope in the collision-dominated limit to obtain exact analytical expressions for magnetic fields and discuss the dependence of magnetic fields on laser and plasma parameters. Equations for quasistatic magnetic fields including both axial component Bz and the azimuthal one Bθ are derived simultaneously from such a selfconsistent model. The dependence of quasistatic magnetic field on incident laser intensity, transverse focused radius of laser pulse, electron density and electron temperature is discussed. 相似文献

在中国科学院物理研究所"极光Ⅱ 号"飞秒激光装置上,对激光与薄膜靶相互作用产生的靶后质子束特性进行了实验研究.结果发现,在主脉冲前存在较强的飞秒预脉冲的情况下,通过适当地对激光束散焦,可以使质子束的转换效率提高3 个数量级,并同时改善质子束的准直性.分析表明,激光散焦的方法可以有效地抑制预脉冲的流体力学效应对质子加速的负面影响,从而提高质子的转换效率.此外,粒子模拟还发现,散焦量增大时可以产生更多的中低能超热电子,这也有利于建立高质量的质子加速电场.

利用OMA光学多道分析仪测量了激光与薄膜靶相互作用中产生的辐射光谱,在靶后观察到红移的二次谐波发射. 这种二次谐波是v×B加热产生的、具有微脉冲结构的超热电子束在等离子体-真空边界产生的相干渡越辐射(CTR). 随着激光能量的增大,红移峰向长波方向移动,光谱同时发生展宽. 分析认为,等离子体临界面的迅速膨胀是导致二次谐波红移的主要原因. 随着预脉冲能量的增大,临界面膨胀速度增大,导致了发射峰更大的红移. 实验还测量了靶面法线方向的辐射光谱,观察到基频辐射的红移和展宽. CTR为诊断临界面的运动方向和速度提供了一种新的方法.

Demonstration of Mo Soft X-Ray Lasers with a Grazing Incidence Pumping Scheme in the XL-II Facility 下载免费PDF全文
A Ni-like Mo soft x-ray laser (SXRLs) operating at 18.9nm has been demonstrated by employing a grazing incidence pumping scheme with 120m^3 in the 200ps pre-pulse and 140mJ in the 200fs main pulse. The SXRL gain is estimated to be 1.5-3cm^-1 when a grazing incidence angle of 14° is applied. Numerical simulations are also performed to investigate the dynamics of the ion distribution. It is found that a high intensity at 2.4× 10^14 W/cm^2 of the 200fs main pulse could heat the pre-plasma rapidly to an appropriate temperature for population inversion, and could compensate for the shortage of the total pump energy to a certain extent. 相似文献
