This document presents theoretical considerations about the solution of dynamic optimization problems integrating the Benders Theory, the Dynamic Programming approach and the concepts of Control Theory. The so called Generalized Dual Dynamic Programming Theory (GDDP) can be considered as an extension of two previous approaches known as Dual Dynamic Programming (DDP): The first is the work developed by Pereira and Pinto [3–5], which was revised by Velásquez and others [8,9]. We present a model arising from the thermal modelling of two metal casting processes. We consider an enthalpy formulation for this two‐phase Stefan problem in a time varying three‐dimensional domain and consider convective heat transfer in the liquid phase. Then, we introduce a weak formulation in a fixed domain, by means of a suitable transformation. Existence of solution is obtained by applying an abstract theorem. The proof of this theorem is done by taking an implicit discretization in time together with a regularization. By passing to the limit in the regularization parameter and in the time step, we obtain the existence of solution of the continuous problem. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A direct method for silicon determination in milk samples by Electrothermal Atomic Absorption Spectrometry was developed. Palladium was used as chemical modifier at a concentration of 610 mg L(-1); with this modifier, silicon was stable up to 1800 degrees C. The precision and accuracy of the method were investigated. The detection limit was 16.2, 2.7 and 7.2 micro g L(-1) for cows' milk, human milk and infant formula, respectively. The method was applied to silicon determination in 17 infant formula samples, 13 human milk samples and 12 cows' milk samples.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of a third‐order Newton‐type method. The method is free of bilinear operators, which constitutes the main limitation of the classical third‐order iterative schemes. First, a global convergence theorem in the real case is presented. Second, a semilocal convergence theorem and some examples are analyzed, including quadratic equations and integral equations.
