Glucose in 5% D2O/95% H2O solution was successfully determined quantitatively by measurements of the 1H NMR peak height (intensity) of the single peaks at δ(1H) = 5.22 and 4.64 ppm corresponding to the α-D and the β-D-glucose spectrum, respectively. The single peaks were obtained from decoupling of the high field part of the AX spectrum of the α-D- or the β-D-glucose by incorporation of time shared homonuclear decoupling in the WATR-CPMG method (WATR-HDCPMG) without re-attenuation of the water peak. The method was applied to the determination of total glucose in blood plasma from human subjects undergoing oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) in the teaching hospital. The results compared favorably with those obtained from the standard glucose oxidase method obtained in a hospital pathology laboratory. The accuracy of the results obtained using the WATR-HDCPMG method was within 3.5% of the glucose oxidation method. 相似文献

A novel analytical approach is described that combines the preconcentration power of solvent extraction with the resolution
and sensitivity of a 500 MHz 1H NMR spectroscopic detection method for the quantitative determination of metals. Co(II), Cr(VI), Ni(II) and Pb(II) in water
are extracted into chloroform as dithiocarbamate complexes. By decoupling the protons and employing a solvent-induced shift
method, the 1H NMR spectrum containing the dithiocarbamate complexes of Co(II), Cr(VI), Ni(II) and Pb(II) is fully resolved at CDCl3/ C6D6 below 40%/60%. The detection limits for Co(II), Cr(VI), Ni(II) and Pb(II) are estimated to be 0.12, 0.073, 0.11 and 0.27
μg/mL, respectively, in the sample solution.

Let A and B be two n×n real symmetric matrices. A theorem of Calabi and Greub-Milnor states that if n?3 and A and B satisfy the condition for all nonzero vectors u, then there is a linear combination of A and B that is definite. In this note, the author proves two theorems of the semi-definiteness of a nontrivial linear combination of A and B by replacing the condition (1) by another condition. One of these theorems is a generalization of the theorem of Greub-Milnor and Calabi. 相似文献

A branched [8]catenane from an efficient one-pot synthesis (72 % HPLC yield, 59 % isolated yield) featuring the simultaneous use of three kinds of templates and cucurbit[6]uril-mediated azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CBAAC) for ring-closing is reported. Design and assembly of the [8]catenane precursors are unexpectedly complex that can involve cooperating, competing and non-influencing interactions. Due to the branched structure, dynamics of the [8]catenane can be modulated in different extent by rigidifying/loosening the mechanical bonds at different regions by using solvent polarity, acid-base and metal ions as the stimuli. This work not only highlights the importance of understanding the delicate interplay of the weak and non-obvious supramolecular interactions in the synthesis of high-order [n]catenane, but also demonstrates a complex control of dynamics and flexibility for exploiting [n]catenanes applications. 相似文献

The rapid development of on-surface synthesis provides a unique approach toward the formation of carbon-based nanostructures with designed properties. Herein, we present the on-surface formation of CN-substituted phenylene vinylene chains on the Au(111) surface, thermally induced by annealing the substrate stepwise at temperatures between 220 °C and 240 °C. The reaction is investigated by scanning tunneling microscopy and density functional theory. Supported by the calculated reaction pathway, we assign the observed chain formation to a Knoevenagel condensation between an aldehyde and a methylene nitrile substituent. 相似文献

The thermodynamically unstable, colourless closed-ring isomer of spiropyran can be stabilized in water by the anti-configurational isomer of amide naphthotube. The influence of the binding on the thermodynamics and kinetics of spiropyran have been studied.
