This paper describes the extraction of 49 organophosphorus pesti-cides (OPPs) from water samples using solid-phase microextraction (SPME). Three fibers, including a 15-μm XAD-coated fiber, a 85-μm polyacrylate-coated fiber, and a 30-μm polydimethylsilox-ane-coated fiber (PDMS), were evaluated here. The effects of stirring and the addition of NaCl to the sample were examined for the polyacrylate-coated fiber. The precision of the technique was examined for all three fibers and the extraction kinetics were investigated using the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers. With some exceptions, the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers performed better than the PDMS-coated fiber. The superiority of the XAD-nd polyacrylate-coated fiber. The superiority of the XAD- and polyacrylate-coated fibers over the PDMS-coated fibers can be attribuibuted to the aromatic functionalities of the XAD and the polar functionalities in the polyacrylate. The relatively high percent RSDs indicate that the SPME technique needs to be further refined before it can be used for anything other than screening. A more effective form of agitation than mechanical stirring may be neccessary to reduce variability and achieve a faster equilibrium between the sample and the SPME fiber.  相似文献

The methods of the thermal analysis (TG, DTG and DTA) were used in order to investigate the effect of the hydration degree on the thermal behaviour of some collageneous matrices. It was pointed out that the degradation of hydrated collagen in the temperature range 20-400°C occurs through two successive processes accompanied by mass losses. The first process, consisting in the collagen dehydration, is endothermic and takes place in the temperature range ≈25 - ≈125°C. The second process is exothermic and consists in the decomposition and/or thermo-oxidation of dry collagen. The thermal parameters of both processes depend on the hydration degree of collagen. The observed dependencies show that the hydrothermal and thermo-oxidative stability of collagen are strongly correlated with its water content. Nineteen halogenated and/or nitrated diphenyl ethers (currently listed in EPA Method 8111) have been separated on a DB-5/ DB-1701 column pair connected to an inlet splitter and separate electron capture detectors. Retention times are included for 10 additional compounds evaluated for their suitability as internal standards or surrogate compounds for incorporation into Method 8111. Method reproducibility and linearity are discussed, and results are presented for extracts of two real samples spiked with the 19 diphenyl ethers and analyzed using the dual-column dual-detector arrangement.  相似文献

This paper identifies an industrially relevant class of linear hybrid automata (LHA) called reasonable LHA for which parametric verification of convex safety properties with exhaustive entry states can be verified in polynomial time and time-bounded reachability can be decided in nondeterministic polynomial time for non-parametric verification and in exponential time for parametric verification. Properties with exhaustive entry states are restricted to runs originating in a (specified) inner envelope of some mode-invariant. Deciding whether an LHA is reasonable is shown to be decidable in polynomial time.  相似文献

The purpose of the present work deals with the evaluation of the electron beam irradiation effects on some natural products based on thermal analysis. Some natural products with therapeutic contributions (artichoke, sea buckthorn, common sage, stonebreaker and cloves) were irradiated with doses up to 9 kGy using accelerated electron beam. The thermal profiles lead to identify three phenomena: dehydration — volatilization, irreversible degradation — molecular reorganization and residue decomposition. The radio-induced degradations determine slight shifts of the temperatures where these phenomena occur. The energetic value of the studied products is affected by e-beam treatment depending on irradiation dose.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to give a deterministic characterization of the uniform observability property of linear differential equations with multiplicative white noise in infinite dimensions. We also investigate the properties of a class of perturbed evolution operators and we used these properties to give a new representation of the covariance operators associated to the mild solutions of the investigated stochastic differential equations. The obtained results play an important role in obtaining necessary and sufficient conditions for the stochastic uniform observability property.  相似文献

The paper analyses some of the causes that limit the performance of the hologram interferometry method when used for the study of the behaviour of semiconductors devices. Then some results are shown obtained by the authors using a method of lens-assisted microscope hologram interferometry for studying such structures. The method allows detection of defects and, besides, it renders quantitatively the structure local non-uniformities during the normal operation of the semiconductor devices.  相似文献

First we prove the existence of a nontrivial smooth solution for a p-Laplacian equation with a (p − 1)-linear nonlinearity and a noncoercive Euler functional, under hypotheses including resonant problems with respect to the principal eigenvalue of (-DpW1,p0(Z)){(-{\it \Delta}_p,\,W^{1,p}_0(Z))} . Then, for the semilinear problem (i.e., p = 2), assuming nonuniform nonresonance at infinity and zero, we prove a multiplicity theorem which provides the existence of at least three nontrivial solutions, two being of opposite constant sign. The objective of this study was to determine the molecular and biochemical changes in dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs) due to consecutive low-dose ionizing radiation exposures using label-free Raman micro-spectroscopy (RMS). Ionizing radiation produces biological damage leading to health effects of varying severity. The effects and subsequent health implications caused by exposure to low-dose radiation, such as diagnostic exposure, remain ambiguous. We identified Raman biomarkers characteristic to low-dose cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) irradiation of the DPSCs. The biomarkers were monitored inside the cells using the relative intensity distribution of the 785 and 1734?cm?1 bands. The control cells presented a higher relative intensity of the nucleic acid specific Raman bands, whereas the irradiated cells revealed an increased intensity of the lipid-induced bands. The results obtained in this study demonstrate the capability of RMS for the detection of cell response to diagnostic radiation dose levels. This may indicate the potential of the technique for future applications such as monitoring the radiation responses in pediatric patients suffering repeated radiological exposures.  相似文献

The region situated between the mountain area and the lowlands in NE Romania (East-Central Europe) is experiencing increased competition for water resources triggered by a growing population, intensification of agriculture, and industrial development. To better understand hydrological cycling processes in the region, a study was conducted using stable isotopes of water and atmospheric trajectory data to characterize regional precipitation and vapour sources derived from the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as recycled continental moisture, and to assess and partition these contributions to recharge of surface and groundwater. Atmospheric moisture in the lowlands is found to be predominantly delivered along easterly trajectories, while mountainous areas appear to be dominated by North Atlantic Ocean sources, with moisture transported along mid-latitude, westerly storm tracks. Large-scale circulation patterns affect moisture delivery, the North Atlantic Oscillation being particularly influential in winter and the East Atlantic pattern in summer. Winter precipitation is the main contributor to river discharge and aquifer recharge. As winter precipitation amounts are projected to decrease over the next decades, and water abstraction is expected to steadily increase, a general reduction in water availability is projected for the region.  相似文献
