Eichler and Zagier developed a theory of Jacobi forms to understand and extend Maass' work on the Saito‐Kurokawa conjecture. Later Skoruppa introduced skew‐holomorphic Jacobi forms, which play an important role in understanding liftings of modular forms and Jacobi forms. In this paper, we explain a relation between Jacobi forms and skew‐holomorphic Jacobi forms in terms of a group cohomology. More precisely, we introduce an isomorphism from the direct sum of the space of Jacobi cusp forms on and the space of skew‐holomorphic Jacobi cusp forms on with the same half‐integral weight to the Eichler cohomology group of with a coefficient module coming from polynomials.  相似文献

The Ramanujan Journal - Let $$\lambda $$ be an integer, and $$f(z)=\sum _{n\gg -\infty } a(n)q^n$$ be a weakly holomorphic modular form of weight$$\lambda +\frac{1}{2}$$ on $$\Gamma _0(4)$$ with...  相似文献

This paper contains three main results: the first one is to derive two “period relations” and the second one is a complete characterization of period functions of Jacobi forms in terms of period relations. These are done by introducing a concept of “Jacobi integrals” on the full Jacobi group. The last one is to show, for the given holomorphic function P(τ, z) having two period relations, there exists a unique Jacobi integral, up to Jacobi forms, with a given function P(τ, z) as its period function. This is done by constructing a generalized Jacobi Poincaré series explicitly. This is to say that every holomorphic function with “period relations” is coming from a Jacobi integral. It is an analogy of Eichler cohomology theory studied in Knopp (Bull Am Math Soc 80:607–632, 1974) for the functions with elliptic and modular variables. It explains the functional equations satisfied by the “Mordell integrals” associated with the Lerch sums (Zwegers in Mock theta functions, PhD thesis, Universiteit Utrecht, 2002) or, more generally, with the higher Appell functions (Semikhatov et?al. in Commun Math Phys 255(2):469–512, 2005). Developing theories of Jacobi integrals with elliptic and modular variables in this paper is a natural extension of the Eichler integral with modular variable. Period functions can be explained in terms of the parabolic cohomology group as well.  相似文献

Recently, K. Bringmann, P. Guerzhoy, Z. Kent and K. Ono studied the connection between Eichler integrals and the holomorphic parts of harmonic weak Maass forms on the full modular group. In this article, we extend their result to more general groups, namely, H-groups by employing the theory of supplementary functions introduced and developed by M.I. Knopp and S.Y. Husseini. In particular, we show that the set of Eichler integrals, which have polynomial period functions, is the same as the set of holomorphic parts of harmonic weak Maass forms of which the non-holomorphic parts are certain period integrals of cusp forms. From this we deduce relations among period functions for harmonic weak Maass forms.  相似文献

Let \(\Gamma \) be a subgroup of finite index in \(\mathrm {SL}(2,\mathbb {Z})\). Eichler defined the first cohomology group of \(\Gamma \) with coefficients in a certain module of polynomials. Eichler and Shimura established that this group is isomorphic to the direct sum of two spaces of cusp forms on \(\Gamma \) with the same integral weight. These results were generalized by Knopp to cusp forms of real weights. In this paper, we define the first parabolic cohomology groups of Jacobi groups \(\Gamma ^{(1,j)}\) and prove that these are isomorphic to the spaces of (skew-holomorphic) Jacobi cusp forms of real weights. We also show that if \(j=1\) and the weights of Jacobi cusp forms are in \(\frac{1}{2}\mathbb {Z}-\mathbb {Z}\), then these isomorphisms can be written in terms of special values of partial L-functions of Jacobi cusp forms.  相似文献

We study a necessary and sufficient condition for Jacobi integrals of weight -r+\fracj2-r+\frac{j}{2}, r∈ℤ≥0, and index ℳ(j) on ℋ×ℂ j to have a dual Jacobi form of weight r+\fracj2+2r+\frac{j}{2}+2 and index ℳ(j). Such a meromorphic Jacobi integral with a dual Jacobi form is called a mock Jacobi form whose concept was first introduced by Zagier in Séminaire Bourbaki, 60éme année, 2006–2007, N° 986. In fact, we show the map Lr+1M(j)L^{r+1}_{\mathcal{M}^{(j)}} from the space of mock Jacobi forms to that of Jacobi forms is surjective by constructing the corresponding inverse image via Eichler integral of vector valued modular forms which are coming from the theta decomposition of Jacobi forms. We discuss Lerch sums as a typical example.  相似文献

It is shown that each bounded linear operator on a separable Hilbert space which generates a finite type I von Neumann algebra has, up to unitary equivalence, a unique representation as a direct integral of inflations of mutually unitarily inequivalent irreducible matrices. This leads to a simplification of the so-called central decomposition and the multiplicity theory for such operators.  相似文献

Vignéras constructs non-holomorphic theta functions according to indefinite quadratic forms with arbitrary signature. We use Vignéras’ theta functions to create examples of non-holomorphic Jacobi forms associated to indefinite theta series by two different methods.  相似文献
