Technische Hilfsmittel der Probenahme und der Probenvorbereitung

Zusammenfassung Die Ausführungen stellen einen Überblick über das Problem der Probenahme- und Probenvorbereitung dar. Nach der Besprechung der möglichen Fehler bei der Probenahme wird auf einzelne Anlagen näher eingegangen. Die Eignung der Geräte sowie die Grenzen der Anwendbarkeit werden gezeigt. Das gesamte Gebiet der Hilfsmittel für die Probenahme ist in den vorliegenden Ausführungen nur kurz erfaßt worden. Neuere Geräte werden eingehender besprochen. Die Arbeit ist als Anregung gedacht, die Probenahme auf einen Stand zu bringen, der für eine genaue Analytik und zur Feststellung der Qualität notwendig ist.

Summary The present work presents a review of the problem of sampling and sample preparation. Possible errors are discussed and the application of the various implements and devices is demonstrated. The entire field of sampling equipment could only be covered superficially and only more recent devices are treated at some length. The purpose of the statements is to make suggestions contributing to a higher standard of sampling, which is required for a correct analysis and appreciation of quality.

     

Subcritical polarisations of symplectic manifolds have degree one

We show that if the complement of a Donaldson hypersurface in a closed, integral symplectic manifold has the homology of a subcritical Stein manifold, then the hypersurface is of degree one. In particular, this demonstrates a conjecture by Biran and Cieliebak on subcritical polarisations of symplectic manifolds. Our proof is based on a simple homological argument using ideas of Kulkarni–Wood.
