Measurements of the transmission of XeCl excimer laser pulses (308 nm) through optical all-silica fibers are reported. The observed photodegradation effects during long time irradiation are dependent on the laser energy density and the laser repetition rate. Also the influence of the fiber drawing parameters and fiber geometry have been investigated. Absorption spectra of the fibers in the wavelength range from 200nm to 400nm before and after the irradiation with the excimer laser give some insight in the physical reasons for the changes in transmission properties. In this paper the mineralization of CaCO(3) in various hydrogel matrices is presented. Sulfonic acid based hydrogels were prepared by introduction of sulfonate-containing monomers into a polyacrylamide network. The sulfonate content of polyacrylamide-co-vinylsulfonate and polyacrylamide-co-allylsulfonate decreases during elution of the copolymers in demineralized water, indicating insufficient linking of the sulfonate-bearing monomers within the hydrogel. In contrast to this, acrylamidomethylpropanesulfonate (AMPS) effectively copolymerizes with acrylamide (AAm) monomers. To study the influence of spatial arrangement of ionic functional groups within hydrogel networks on the mineralization of CaCO(3), AMPS copolymers with different degrees of AMPS cross-linking were synthesized. For the mineralization experiments the copolymers were placed into a double-diffusion arrangement. Calcite as the thermodynamically stable modification of CaCO(3) was obtained with a particular morphology. The pseudocubic habitus resembles aggregates obtained by mineralization in pure polyacrylamide. However, closer examination of the aggregates by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) shows that the crystal growth in the AMPS copolymers is different from that observed in polyacrylamide. Whereas the morphology of the calcite aggregates could be fine-tuned by using copolymers with different sulfonate content, the spatial distribution of the ionic functional groups alters the course of crystallization. Calcium ions are locally accumulated due to the heterogeneous distribution of functional sulfonate groups within the copolymer network. Thereby the nucleation of calcite is triggered, resulting in enhanced mineralization.  相似文献

Xe(OTeF5)2 reacts with Sb(OTeF5)3 under the formation of [Xe2(OTeF5)3]+[Sb(OTeF5)6]-. From SO2ClF solution a yellow solvate [F5TeOXe]+·SO2ClF· [Sb(OTeF5)6]- is formed with the crystal data: a = 1028.1(1), b = 1040.9(1), c = 1780.2(3) pm, α = 98.07(1), β = 97.68(1), γ = 105.82(1)°, space group . The O-Xe···O fragment is essentially linear (176.1(2)°), and the two Xe-O distances are quite different 197.1(4) and 242.6(4) pm.  相似文献

This study demonstrates how the method of thermally assisted oxidative precipitation in water can be opened for—the so far neglected—metal organic iron(II) complexes (herein: citrate) in order to obtain, in one step, ferromagnetic magnetite nanoparticles, possessing essential ligand properties. Based on a dedicated analysis of the specific precursor in combination with the consideration of known properties of the ligand, it is possible to identify existing inhibition-attributes of the iron organyl such that these can be overcome. Moreover, they can be exploited in a targeted manner; thus, simply by changing concentrations, a variety of magnetite nanoparticle morphologies with distinct properties can be obtained. In the case of the herein investigated ferrous citrate, three major inhibition effects are identified. While two of them efficiently prevent the formation of magnetite and need to be addressed to be overcome, the third can be exploited to selectively synthesize, for example, relatively stable carboxyl group-bearing nuclei clusters, exhibiting the properties of magnetically responsive photonic crystals, or relatively large mesocrystals, whose intraparticular magnetic interactions are apparently disturbed.  相似文献

Hybrid polymer solutions suitable for UV-nanoimprint were synthesized by combination of an alkoxysilane binder mixture with silica nanoparticles. Hydrolysis and condensation reactions were monitored by NMR and viscosity measurements. Thereby long-term stable systems were produced as a prerequisite for industrial application. Dip-coating of glass substrates and subsequent UV-curing yielded thin films. Their thermal densification and microstructural evolution resulted in pure glassy porous coatings, which were in detail characterized by N2-sorption measurements and ellipsometric porosimetry. Results emphasize the importance of the binder-particle interaction within these materials that are destined for the fabrication of microstructured surfaces by cost efficient and industrially feasible UV-based soft lithography. Structured glassy layers with high inorganic content show thermal stability up to >500 °C and have a high structure accuracy >85 %.  相似文献

In this paper we study the Riesz transform on complete and connected Riemannian manifolds M with a certain spectral gap in the L2 spectrum of the Laplacian. We show that on such manifolds the Riesz transform is Lp bounded for all p∈(1,∞). This generalizes a result by Mandouvalos and Marias and extends a result by Auscher, Coulhon, Duong, and Hofmann to the case where zero is an isolated point of the L2 spectrum of the Laplacian.  相似文献
