Elliptic Quadratic Operator Equations

The paper is devoted to the study of elliptic quadratic operator equations over the finite dimensional Euclidean space. We provide necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions of elliptic quadratic operator equations. The iterative Newton-Kantorovich method for stable solutions is also presented.

     

Genetic Volterra algebras and their derivations

The present paper is devoted to genetic Volterra algebras. We first study characters of such algebras. We fully describe associative genetic Volterra algebras, in this case all derivations are trivial. In general setting, i.e., when the algebra is not associative, we provide a su?cient condition to get trivial derivation on generic Volterra algebras. Furthermore, we describe all derivations of three dimensional generic Volterra algebras, which allowed us to prove that any local derivation is a derivation of the algebra.

Existence of a Phase Transition for the Potts p-adic Model on the Set ℤ

We consider the Potts model on the set in the field Q _p of p-adic numbers. The range of the spin variables (n), , in this model is . We show that there are some values q=q(p) for which phase transitions occur.     

Description of periodic extreme gibbs measures of some lattice models on the Cayley tree

The uniqueness of the translation-invariant extreme Gibbs measure for the antiferromagnetic Potts model with an external field and the existence of an uncountable number of extreme Gibbs measures for the Ising model with an external field on the Cayley tree are proved. The classes of normal subgroups of finite index of the Cayley tree group representation are constructed. The periodic extreme Gibbs measures, which are invariant with respect to subgroups of index 2, are constructed for the Ising model with zero external field. From these measures, the existence of an uncountable number of nonperiodic extreme Gibbs measures for the antiferromagnatic Ising model follows. Some Properties of a Class of Diagonalizable States of von Neumann Algebras

In this paper, a class of representations of uniformly hyperfinite algebras is constructed and the corresponding von Neumann algebras are studied. It is proved that, under certain conditions, the Markov states generate factors of type IIIλ, where λ ∈ (0,1), in the GNS representation; this gives a negative answer to the conjecture that the factors corresponding to Hamiltonians with nontrivial interactions have type III. It is shown that, for a certain class of Hamiltonians, there exists a unique translation-invariant ground state.     

Doubly stochastic quadratic operators and Birkhoff’s problem

In the present we introduce a concept of doubly stochastic quadratic operator. We study necessary and sufficient conditions for doubly stochasticity of operator. Moreover, we study analogue of Birkhoff’s theorem for the class of doubly stochastic operators.
