For any chain Γ the ring NT(Γ,K) of all finitary Γ-matrices ‖a ij i,jεΓ over an associative ring K with zeros on and above the main diagonal is locally nilpotent and hence radical. Binary and ternary mixtures of alpha-tocopherol (alphaT), cholesterol and dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine (DPPC) in the form of multilamellar liposomes have been investigated by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Investigation of frequencies, bandwidths and band shapes of CH(2) stretching and scissoring bands indicate that the effect of alphaT is dominant in comparison with cholesterol and alphaT decreases the interaction of cholesterol with phospholipid membranes.  相似文献

We study a family of equations defined on the space of tensor densities of weight λ on the circle and introduce two integrable PDE. One of the equations turns out to be closely related to the inviscid Burgers equation while the other has not been identified in any form before. We present their Lax pair formulations and describe their bihamiltonian structures. We prove local wellposedness of the corresponding Cauchy problem and include results on blow-up as well as global existence of solutions. Moreover, we construct “peakon” and “multi-peakon” solutions for all λ ≠ 0, 1, and “shock-peakons” for λ = 3. We argue that there is a natural geometric framework for these equations that includes other well-known integrable equations and which is based on V. Arnold’s approach to Euler equations on Lie groups.  相似文献

Arteriovenous malformations (AVM) of the brain, errors in the development of the vasculature, produce high flow arteriovenous shunts. They steal blood from surrounding brain tissue, which is chronically hypoperfused. Hypoperfusion is a condition of inadequate tissue perfusion and oxygenation resulting in abnormal tissue metabolism. In the present study Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy was used to investigate the effects of hypoperfusion on rat cranial bone mineral and organic matrix at the molecular level. FTIR spectroscopic analysis revealed that in cranial bones of an experimental group the relative amount of carbonate and phosphate groups increased whereas that of protein (amide I) decreased. Curve-fitting analysis of the v2 carbonate band showed that amounts of type A and type B carbonates increased slightly (p=0.423 for both) whereas, type L carbonate decreased slightly (p=0.522) in hypoperfused cranial bones. Analysis of the C–H region revealed a significant increase (p=0.037) in the lipid to protein ratio. Because the lipid content is high, hypoperfused cranial bone tissue is more prone to lipid peroxidation. Dialdehydes derived from lipid peroxidation can make cross-links with collagen and might lead to disturbances in the collagen cross-link profile. The 1660 cm–1/1690 cm–1 partial area ratio derived from curve-fitting analysis of the Amide I band is sensitive to the relative amount of collagen non-reducible cross-link hydroxylysyl/lysylpyridinolines (Pyr) and reducible cross-link dihydroxylysinonorleucine (DHLNL) and this ratio reflects collagen maturity. In chronic hypoperfusion a significant decrease (p=0.004) was observed in this ratio. This means there were less mature collagen cross-links. Disturbances in the collagen maturation can affect mineralization process and lead to formation of pathologic structures in cranial bones. These findings clearly demonstrate that FTIR spectroscopy can be used to extract valuable information at molecular level, leading to better understanding of the effect of hypoperfusion on rat cranial bones.  相似文献

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder, characterized by abnormally high blood glucose levels due to decreased secretion or effectiveness in function of insulin. Having a role in carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, skeletal muscle is affected by the absence of insulin in diabetic conditions. This current study reports the application of Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy in the determination of macromolecular alterations in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rat skeletal Soleus (SOL) muscles, which highlight the promise of this technique in medical research. The results revealed that DM induced several alterations in macromolecular content and structure of slow-contracting SOL muscles. In diabetic SOL muscles, a decrease in the content of lipids, proteins and nucleic acids together with an increase in lipid order was observed. The decrease in the level of unsaturation and acyl chain length of lipids demonstrated the increased lipid peroxidation in DM. There were alterations in protein secondary structure in DM with a decrease in α-helix and β-sheet content of proteins, whereas the content of aggregated β-strands increased, which is generally seen when proteins denature. Besides, the integrity of collagen molecules was found to be decreased, demonstrating the alterations in its triple helical structure in diabetic muscles. Furthermore, the same alterations mentioned above were also observed in diabetic fast-contracting Extensor Digitorum Longus (EDL) muscles. However, having a high content of mitochondria and relying on an oxidative pathway, SOL muscle was found to be more affected by DM.  相似文献
