We investigate the localization of a hydrophobic-polar regular copolymer at a selective solvent-solvent interface with emphasis on the impact of block length M on the copolymer behavior. The considerations are based on simple scaling arguments and use the mapping of the problem onto a homopolymer adsorption problem. The resulting scaling relations treat the gyration radius of the copolymer chain perpendicular and parallel to the interface in terms of chain length N and block size M, as well as the selectivity parameter chi. The scaling relations differ for the case of weak and strong localization. In the strong localization limit a scaling relation for the lateral diffusion coefficient D( parallel) is also derived. The temporal evolution of the three-dimensional pattern of perturbations superposed on a radialrotational spread or sink of a viscous layer the parameters of which depend on the radial coordinate and time has been studied. The motion of the layer boundaries is specified both in the main motion and in the perturbed motion. Based on the integral relations method applied to the linearized problem in perturbations, sufficient estimates of exponential stability (in particular, on a finite time interval) of the main motion have been derived.  相似文献

The main aim of this paper is to study a general multisublinear operators generated by quasi-concave functions between weighted Banach function lattices. These operators, in particular, generalize the Hardy–Littlewood and fractional maximal functions playing an important role in harmonic analysis. We prove that under some general geometrical assumptions on Banach function lattices two-weight weak type and also strong type estimates for these operators are true. To derive the main results of this paper we characterize the strong type estimate for a variant of multilinear averaging operators. As special cases we provide boundedness results for fractional maximal operators in concrete function spaces.  相似文献

We derive a simplified model for two-dimensional (2D) channel flows with recirculated regions at moderate Reynolds numbers based on an extension of the boundary layer (BL) theory and averaging across the channel. The model reproduces symmetry-breaking bifurcations and resulting flow structures accurately. Analytical estimates for the decay rates toward the parabolic profile before and after a sudden change in the walls agree well with the full numerical simulations. A seemingly chaotic steady flow is also discovered in a channel with periodic expansions and contractions.  相似文献

We consider the ordered and disordered dynamics for monolayers of rolling self-interacting particles modeling water molecules. The rolling constraint represents a simplified model of a strong, but rapidly decaying bond with the surface. We show the existence and nonlinear stability of ordered lattice states, as well as disturbance propagation through and chaotic vibrations of these states. We study the dynamics of disordered gas states and show that there is a surprising and universal linear connection between distributions of angular and linear velocity, allowing definition of temperature.  相似文献

We derive an optimal control formulation for a nonholonomic mechanical system using the nonholonomic constraint itself as the control. We focus on Suslov’s problem, which is defined as the motion of a rigid body with a vanishing projection of the body frame angular velocity on a given direction \(\varvec{\xi }\). We derive the optimal control formulation, first for an arbitrary group, and then in the classical realization of Suslov’s problem for the rotation group \(\textit{SO}(3)\). We show that it is possible to control the system using the constraint \(\varvec{\xi }(t)\) and demonstrate numerical examples in which the system tracks quite complex trajectories such as a spiral.  相似文献

We study the boundedness problem for fractional integral operators with product kernels and corresponding strong fractional maximal operators in unweighted and weighted grand Lebesgue spaces. Among other statements, we prove that the one-weight inequality $ {{\left\| {{T_{\alpha }}\left( {f{w^{\alpha }}} \right)} \right\|}_{{L_w^{{q),\theta q/p}}}}}\leqslant c{{\left\| f \right\|}_{{L_w^{{p),\theta }}}}} $ , where q is the Hardy–Littlewood–Sobolev exponent of p, holds for potentials with product kernels T α if and only if the weight w belongs to the Muckenhoupt class A 1+q/p′ defined with respect to n-dimensional intervals with sides parallel to the coordinate axes.
