A microscopic model of phase transitions in biferrocene derivatives is proposed. This model allows for the presence of interacting mixed-valence cations and counteranions in the crystal structure, electron transfer in cations, and charge oscillations in counteranions. The mutual effect of the mixed ordered phase is investigated, and the Mössbauer spectra of the biferrocenium triiodide and diiodobiferrocenium hexafluoroantimonate crystals are interpreted. An explanation is offered for the coexistence of the localized and delocalized Mössbauer spectra.  相似文献

The application of ammonium carbonate (AC) as catalyst for the preparation of RF-aerogels leads to organic aerogels without metallic impurities in contrast to conventional catalysts like sodium carbonate. To synthesize the AC catalyzed RF aerogels we varied the catalyst and formaldehyde concentration in wide ranges. The nanostructure varies accordingly over an order of magnitude. The particle sizes in the dry aerogel network, determined by scanning electron microscopy, are in the range of 0.15–4 μm. The aerogel densities are in the range of 370–420 kg m−3. The specific surface measured by nitrogen adsorption (BET) varies from 0.5 to 13 m2 g−1 which equals a specific surface area from 0.7 to 20 μm−1. Thermogravimetry is employed to study the drying process, annealing reactions and decomposition of the aerogel into a carbon aerogel.  相似文献

The ligand‐centered radical complex [(CoTPMA)2‐μ‐bmtz.?](O3SCF3)3 ? CH3CN (bmtz=3,6‐bis(2′‐pyrimidyl)‐1,2,4,5‐tetrazine, TPMA=tris‐(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine) has been synthesized from the neutral bmtz precursor. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies have confirmed the presence of the ligand‐centered radical. The CoII complex exhibits slow paramagnetic relaxation in an applied DC field with a barrier to spin reversal of 39 K. This behavior is a result of strong antiferromagnetic metal–radical coupling combined with positive axial and strong rhombic anisotropic contributions from the CoII ions.  相似文献

A microscopic approach to the problem of cooperative spin crossover in the [MnL2]NO3 crystal, which contains Mn(III) ions as structural units, is elaborated on, and the main mechanisms governing this effect are revealed. The proposed model also takes into account the splitting of the low-spin 3T1 (t(2)(4)) and high-spin 5E (t(2)(3)e) terms by the low-symmetry crystal field. The low-spin → high-spin transition has been considered as a cooperative phenomenon driven by interaction of the electronic shells of the Mn(III) ions with the all-around full-symmetric deformation that is extended over the crystal lattice via the acoustic phonon field. The model well explains the observed thermal dependencies of the magnetic susceptibility and the effective magnetic moment.  相似文献

The paper is aimed at the elucidation of the main factors responsible for the single-chain magnet behavior of the cobalt(II) disphosphonate compound Co(H2L)(H2O) with a 1D structure. The model takes into account the spin-orbit interaction, the axial component of the octahedral crystal field acting on the ground-state cubic 4T1 terms of the Co(II) ions, the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction between Co(II) ions as well as the difference in the crystallographic positions of these ions. The conditions that favor the single-chain magnet behavior based on spin canting in a 1D chain containing inequivalent Co(II) centers are discussed. The peculiarities of this behavior in chains containing orbitally degenerate ions are revealed. The qualitative explanation of the experimental data is given.  相似文献

Digital image correlation (DIC) is an optical metrology method widely used in experimental mechanics for full-field shape, displacement and strain measurements. The required strain resolution for engineering applications of interest mandates DIC to have a high image displacement matching accuracy, on the order of 1/100th of a pixel, which necessitates an understanding of DIC errors. In this paper, we examine two spatial bias terms that have been almost completely overlooked. They cause a persistent offset in the matching of image intensities and thus corrupt DIC results. We name them pattern-induced bias (PIB), and intensity discretization bias (IDB). We show that the PIB error occurs in the presence of an undermatched shape function and is primarily dictated by the underlying intensity pattern for a fixed displacement field and DIC settings. The IDB error is due to the quantization of the gray level intensity values in the digital camera. In this paper we demonstrate these errors and quantify their magnitudes both experimentally and with synthetic images.

Hydrochloric acid (HCl) used as catalyst for the preparation of RF-aerogels leads to organic aerogels in very short gelation times. The gelation time can be varied from a few seconds to minutes. The wet gels can be dried under ambient conditions. By variation of the sol composition or catalyst concentration the microstructure of the dry gels can be modified. The aerogel densities are in the range of 210–410 kg/m3. The particle sizes, determined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), are in the range of 700–1,500 nm. The particles look essentially spherical and their size spectrum can be close to monodisperse. The specific surface is measured by nitrogen adsorption (BET). Thermogravimetry (TGA) is employed to study the drying process, annealing reactions and decomposition of the aerogel into a carbon aerogel.  相似文献
