The transport of Hg (II) ions from an aqueous solution into an aqueous receiving solution through bulk and supported liquid membranes containing a calix[4]arene derivative 1 as a carrier was examined. The kinetic parameters of bulk liquid membrane studies were analyzed assuming two consecutive, irreversible first‐order reactions. The influence of temperature, stirring rate, carrier concentration and solvent on the kinetic parameters (k1, k2, Rm max, tmax, Jd max, Ja max) has also been investigated. The membrane entrance rate, k1, and the membrane exit rate, k2, increased with increasing temperature and stirring rate. The activation energy values are calculated as 4.87 and 48.63 kj mol?1 for extraction and reextraction, respectively. The values of calculated activation energy indicate that the process is diffusionally controlled by species. Also, the transport behavior of Hg2+ from aqueous solution through a flat‐sheet supported liquid membrane has been investigated by the use of calix[4]arene derivative 1 as carrier and Celgard 2500 as the solid support. A Danesi mass transfer model was used to calculate the permeability coefficients for each parameter studied. The highest values of permeability were obtained with 2‐nitrophenyloctyl‐ether (NPOE) solvent and the influence was found to be in the order of NPOE>chloroform>xylene.  相似文献

In the present work, effects of gamma radiation on solid meropenem trihydrate (MPT), which is the active ingredient of carbapenem antibiotics, were investigated by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. Irradiated MPT presents an ESR spectrum consisting of many resonance peaks. Heights measured with respect to the spectrum baseline of these resonance peaks were used to explore the evolutions of the radicalic species responsible for the experimental spectrum under different conditions. Variations of the denoted 11 peak heights with microwave power, sample temperature and applied radiation doses and decay of the involved radicalic species at room and at high temperatures were studied. On the basis of the results derived from these studies, a molecular model consisting of the presence of four different radicalic species was proposed, and spectroscopic parameters of these species were calculated through spectrum simulation calculations. The dosimetric potential of MPT was also explored and it was concluded that MPT presents the characteristics of normal and accidental dosimetric materials.  相似文献

The forward-backward asymmetry in np-->dpi(0), which must be zero in the center-of-mass system if charge symmetry is respected, has been measured to be [17.2+/-8.0(stat)+/-5.5(syst)]x10(-4), at an incident neutron energy of 279.5 MeV. This observable is compared to recent chiral effective field theory calculations, with implications regarding the du quark mass difference.  相似文献

There exists a (relatively minimal) genus Lefschetz fibration with only one singular fiber over a closed (Riemann) surface of genus iff and . The singular fiber can be chosen to be reducible or irreducible. Other results are that every Dehn twist on a closed surface of genus at least three is a product of two commutators and no Dehn twist on any closed surface is equal to a single commutator.

Cross sections for quasifree Compton scattering from the deuteron were measured for incident energies of E(gamma) = 236-260 MeV at the laboratory angle straight theta(gamma(')) = -135 degrees. The recoil nucleons were detected in a liquid-scintillator array situated at straight theta(N) = 20 degrees. The measured differential cross sections were used, with the calculations of Levchuk et al., to determine the polarizabilities of the bound nucleons. For the bound proton, the extracted values were consistent with the accepted value for the free proton. Combining our results for the bound neutron with those from Rose et al., we obtain 1-sigma constraints of alpha;(n) = 7.6-14.0 and beta;(n) = 1.2-7.6.  相似文献

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was to identify the effects of objective laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) on the acoustic parameters of patients by comparing their voice samples with that of control subjects. STUDY DESIGN: Prospective study in two tertiary reference hospitals. METHODS: 48 consecutive patients with symptoms related to LPR and 64 control subjects were included in the study. Suspected LPR patients underwent a 24-hour ambulatory pH monitoring, and 25 (52%) of them were shown to have objective LPR. Acoustical evaluation results of objective LPR patients were compared with that of symptomatic LPR patients and control subjects. RESULTS: All frequency perturbation values obtained from objective and symptomatic LPR patients were higher than the control subjects (P<0.01). Mean fundamental frequency, amplitude perturbation measures, and noise-to-harmonics ratio were not significantly different between groups. CONCLUSION: LPR patients have significantly different frequency perturbation values than control subjects.  相似文献

Wajnryb proved in 1996 that the mapping class group of an orientable surface is generated by two elements. We prove that one of these generators can be taken as a Dehn twist. We also prove that the extended mapping class group is generated by two elements, again one of which is a Dehn twist. Another result we prove is that the mapping class groups are also generated by two elements of finite order.

A simple and concise approach to the synthesis of coumarin-containing highly fluorescent asymmetric/symmetric 3,5-diaryl/heteroaryl-2,6-dicyanoaniline derivatives are reported. The compounds were synthesized through base catalyzed three-component one-pot synthesis reaction of 2-(1-(7-(diethylamino)-2-oxo-2H-chromen-3-yl)ethylidene)malononitrile, aliphatic, aromatic/heteroaromatic aldehydes, and malononitrile in solvent-free reaction medium, catalyzed by piperidine under microwave irradiation method. The reaction gave the novel, highly fluorescent coumarin-containing 3,5-disubstituted-2,6-dicyanoaniline derivatives in good yields at 300?W, 80?°C in 2?min. This method provides several advantages; such as shorter reaction time, environmental friendliness, simple workup procedure, lower energy consumption and, generally, good yields with high purity. In addition, the synthesized compounds are fluorescently active dyes even in day light, except for compounds including nitro substituent, and show maximum absorption wavelengths (λabs.max) in the visible region in DMSO at room temperature. Thermal properties of all the synthesized compounds were also evaluated with thermal gravimetric analysis for usability as optic dye. Optical and thermal screening studies of the compounds showed that the dyes have excellent photophysical and thermal stability properties.  相似文献

We obtain a finite set of generators for the mapping class group of a nonorientable surface with punctures. We then compute the first homology group of the mapping class group and certain subgroups of it. As an application we prove that the image of a homomorphism from the mapping class group of a nonorientable surface of genus at least nine to the group of real-analytic diffeomorphisms of the circle is either trivial or of order two.  相似文献
