Forthrightly monitoring ferroptosis induced by endoplasmic reticulum stresses through fluorescence lifetime imaging of microviscosity increases with a specific rotor

To test the hypothesis that the microviscosity changes of Endoplasmic Reticulum(ER) can be a useful indicator of ferroptosis promoted by ER Stresses(ERS), a new ER targeting viscosity rotor, L-Vis-1 was developed and applied in the quantitation of viscosity by FLIM imaging in live cells. Investigation on the Cs 6S1/2to 7D elec trie quadrupole tr ansition via monochromatic two-photon process at 767 nm

We experimentally demonstrate the cesium electric quadrupole t ransition from the 6S_1/2ground st ate to the 7D_3/2,5/2excited state t hrough a virtu al level by using a single laser at 767 nm.The excited state energy level population is characterized by varying the laser power,the temperature of the vapor,and the polarization combinations of the laser beams.The optimized experimentai parameters are obtained for a high resolution transition interval identification.The magnetic dipole coupling constant A and elec trie quadrupole coupling constant B for the 7D_3/2,5/2states are precisely determined by using the hyperfine levels intervals.The results,A=7.39(0.06)MHz,B=-0.19(0.18)MHz for the 7D_3/2state,and A=-1.79(0.05)MHz,B=1.05(0.29)MHz for the 7D_5/2state,are in good agreement with the previous reported results.This work is beneficial for the determination of atomic structure information and parity non-conser vat ion,which paves the way for the field of precision measurements and atomic physics.     

Graphene-nickel nitride hybrids supporting palladium nanoparticles for enhanced ethanol electrooxidation

Electrocatalysts for ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR)are generally limited by their poor durability because of the catalyst poisoning induced by the reaction intermediate carbon monoxide(CO).Therefore,the rapid oxidation removal of CO intermediates is crucial to the durability of EOR-based catalysts.Herein,in order to effectively avoiding the catalyst CO poisoning and improve the durability,the graphene-nickel nitride hybrids(AG-Ni₃N)were designed for supporting palladium nanoparticles(Pd/AG-Ni₃N)and then used for ethanol electrooxidation.The density functional theory(DFT)calculations demonstrated the introduction of AG-Ni₃N depresses the CO absorption and simultaneously promotes the adsorption of OH species for CO oxidation removal.The fabricated Pd/AG-Ni₃N catalyst distinctively exhibits excellent electroactivity with the mass catalytic activity of 3499.5 m A mg^-1 on EOR in alkaline media,which is around 5.24 times higher than Pd/C(commercial catalyst).Notably,the Pd/AG-Ni₃N hybrids display excellent stability and durability after chronoamperometric measurements with a total operation time of 150,000 s.

Nuclear Shadowing Effect on the K Factor in Au—Au Collisions

We investigate the nuclear shadowing effect on the K factor in the Drell-Yan process by introducing a Shadowing factor into the corresponding quantum chromodynamical αs order corrections.K factors for Au-Au collisions are calculated at the centre-of-mass system energies √s=60,130 and 200 GeV while the nuclear shadowing factor is taken into account.The numerical results indicate that the nuclear shadowing factor obviously raises the K value in the small x region,and for the same nucleon the K valus becomes smaller as the energy increases.The nuclear shadowing effect could be one reason for creating the non-constancy of the K factor.     

Realization of the Fredkin Gate by Three transition Pulses in a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Quantum Information Processor

We have experimentally realized the Fredkin gate with only three transition pulses in a solution of alanine.It appears that no experimental realization of the Fredkin gate with fewer pulses has been reported yet.In addition,the simple structure of our scheme makes it easy to implement in experiments.     

New Explicit Solitary Wave Solutions and Periodic Wave Solutions for the Generalized Coupled Hirota－Satsuma KdV system

In this paper,we study the generalized coupled Hirota-Satsuma KdV system by using the new generalized transformation in homogeneous balance method.As a result,many explicit exact solutions,which contain new solitary wave solutions,periodic wave solutions,and the combined formal solitary wave solutions,and periodic wave solutions ,are obtained.     

A Novel Biomass Supported Na2CO3 System for Flue Gas Desulfurization

The breakthrough and stoichiometric SO2 adsorption efficiencies of a biomass supported Na2CO3 system (80 wt %Na2CO3/straw) have reached 48.9% and 80.6% respectively at a desulfurization temperature of 80℃.     

A Convenient and Efficient Procedure fox Oxime Ethers

Acetophenone oxime and benzaldehyde oxime were converted to oxime ethers in the presence of alkyl halide or methyl sulfate and KOH in aqueous DMSO in 5 to 70 min. The yields of oxime ethers were 70-96%.
